     Description: Being mopey and sad isn’t limited to just Neopets. This slightly damp spud is an affordable alternative to a pet Rock. You can count on him to be there to brood away. Bring your lumpy companion wherever you go, or not. Sometimes you just need the space.

     Item: Grey Road

     Description: So you’ve customized your pet to look their absolute most miserable. You can’t have him floating in a white background! What background will match perfectly for a desolate pet? The Grey Road background sets the tone with its’ grey, brown, and dark colours. It features a long road and bare tree that just screams “miserable!” Your pet will not be frolicking happily down this road.

     

     Item: Grey Kacheek Plushie

     Description: Immediately upon looking at this plushie, you can’t help but yell, “AWWWW!” This Kacheek is sitting and looking down, with giant tears forming at the eyes. How can you not feel sorry for her? I just want to pick her up, hug her tight and give her a loving home. This poor Kacheek is very endearing.

     Description: This emotional coming-of-age novel is a must-read for any young grey Neopet. What happened to this Jubjub’s colour and what does it mean to be grey? Follow Boo Hu’s struggle as he goes through life’s troublesome trials and tribulations.

     

     Item: Grey Faellie

     Description: Normally an excitably nervous Petpet, the Grey Faellie lacks the anxious energy of its normal counterpart. These Faellies instead choose to direct their focus toward... well, nothing. It's common to find a Grey Faellie flattening its ears down in an attempt to shrink its silhouette into nothingness. Grey Faellies don't care much for grooming or preening their wings, because if they did, that'd attract attention and praise- which the Grey Faellie hates.

     

     Item: Grey Faerie Usuki Doll

     Description: Without a doubt, this is my favourite item on the list. It is a Usuki Doll wearing a Grey Faerie costume. She has her grey wings, grey hair, and stone-coloured dress. Her expression is a slight frown. She captures the faerie's sullenness perfectly. A few years back, this was the hottest item at Usukicon and has become a rare commodity.

     

     Item: Grey Bouquet

     Description: Ditch conventional traditions and let your inner grey emerge! This bouquet is actually covered in dust! It is not recommended for pets with sensitive noses or susceptible to allergies.

     

     Item: Grey Pancakes

     Description: Grey Pancakes are an important part of a balanced Grey Day breakfast— or maybe not. After consulting with a team of somber scientists and a few tepid taste-testers, we've discovered that these Grey Pancakes are not particularly nutritious.. or tasty.. or filling.. but they're definitely as bland and dreary as Grey Day itself, which makes them a great choice for your pets first meal of Grey Day!

     

     Item: Jelly Covered Greycorn / Greycorn

     Description: And here, we have the Greycor— hey! Who covered the Greycorn in strawberry jelly? *sigh* Just great, now I'll have to go out and get a new Greycorn to show everybody.. all that time spent searching for one, just for this whole moment to be ruined... I mean, I know I should try finding another one, but... what's the point in trying...

     

     Item: Sad Spell

     Description: Tired of the cheerfulness of your opponent in the Battledome? Use this spell against your opponent and they will instantly be drained of all happiness! The potion is an intense purple that emits a blue smoke when uncorked. Get the upper hand and wipe that smile off their face, literally!

     Description: Do you like to have your bad news all at once? No need to look any further! This compilation has all of the Negg-related articles you could possibly handle. Did you read the one about the tragic flooding? A must-read for anyone who wants depressing and upsetting news… in the comforts of their own home!

     

     Item: Ukali Poetry Journal

     Description: It’s time to take out your beret and your poetic side. This hardback will resonate with any poetry-loving Neopet. My personal favourites are the classic poems such as “It’s Not Easy Being Grey” and “The Saddest Day.” *snap* *snap*

     

     Item: Gloomacinth

     Description: Are your eyes TIRED from all those colourful bright flowers blinding you? Gardening isn’t recommended on those awful hot sunny days with the Gloomacinth. These flowers absolutely thrive in the cold rain. The drabbier, the better… just like life.
