The Best Holiday Trees from the Advent Calendar

     Hello friends! It’s me Gonzo again, with another NT article!

     One of the most beloved holiday traditions is the Christmas tree. Setting one up every year makes for a fun family activity and it gets your Neohome ready for the holidays! So it’s no surprise that the ever lovely Advent Calendar has given out items relating to the classic Christmas Tree. It’s only fitting to the season!

     These trees can range from neohome trees to being wearable; or basically any type of holiday tree related item given out by the Advent Calendar!

     Classic trees: Decorated Tree, Gigantic Decorated Christmas Tree,

     Starting off with classic holiday charm is the humble Decorated Tree!! This modest tree comes with beautiful ornaments to place, and of course tinsel to wrap around it! It’s the perfect size for most homes and it’s not terribly expensive either!

     If decorating is a big deal for you, then you can upgrade by getting the GIGANTIC Decorated Christmas Tree! This tree is double the size of the previous and has a little bit more decorations and lights on it. Perfect for anyone who is crazy about Christmas, this is a tree you simply must have on display in your Neohome!

     Festive and Easy: Striped Holiday Tree and Plastic Fir

     If you're seeking that fun holiday aura without too much work, the Striped Holiday Tree provides a more minimalist style of tree. It's solid plastic but patterned with festive colours, and the lights (which double as ornaments) are already built in! This tree takes no time at all to set up in your neohome, but it will still look great!

     The Plastic Fir is similar, but it gives off a much more playful vibe. This statuette is an accurate depiction of a Fir Petpet covered in festive lights and decorations! The only downside is that it’s possibly a little small; but despite this, you can’t help but smile when you walk past this guy!

     World-Themed Trees: Molten Holiday Tree, Underwater Decorated Tree, Geraptiku Christmas Tree

     There are actually 2 Moltara themed trees, but I find the molten one to be incredibly impressive! It radiates warmth much like a well lit fireplace, and you don’t have to worry about decorating. Plus this could also pass as a Tyrannian themed tree, or at least it could if you live close to a volcano!

     This next tree is obviously suited for those who live in Maraqua, Kiko Lake, or anywhere underwater in general! Instead of the traditional Green foliage, this tree is made up of kelp, an underwater staple! The lights surrounding give off a perfectly cosy feel and will simply look great in any living room!

     The Geraptiku Christmas Tree is...a bit different. I'm not quite sure HOW this was made as the vast majority of the city's culture was lost, but who am I to question? It’s made up of mainly wood, and if you look closely, you can see ancient words carved into many of the branches. Here’s hoping they aren’t curses!

     Delightfully Different: Snot Holiday Tree, Cobrall Holiday Tree, Gothic Christmas Tree Foreground

     Well, these trees are definitely...out there, but they're sure to please some folks! The Snot Holiday Tree is admittedly gross but it's absolutely perfect for a Mutant, Snot, or maybe even a Zombie pet! It gives the perfect feeling of gross out, while still being a fully recognisable holiday tree!

     There’s not really much I can say about the Cobrall Holiday Tree other than that it’s quite…unique. It’s either cute or creepy depending on who you ask, though personally, I think it’s a mix of both! Either way though, this little guy seems to be quite content watching over your presents!

     And finally, the Gothic Christmas Tree, released just this year! (I guess for once my procrastination let something good happen!) This tree is perfect for those who have a bit...gloomier style. Fully Black with Purple and Blue highlights, plus skull ornaments, this will definitely help to convince any goth to get into the holiday spirit! Trust me, my goth Ruki cousin simply adores this tree!

     The Creative: Candy Christmas Tree, Negg Tree Trinket, Festive Book Tree

     Are you tired of how difficult it is to ice and decorate those gingerbread cookies? Well struggle no more! This tree comes complete with intricate frosting strands, candy canes, and various other candies adorning it! You’re sure to drool whenever you see this beautifully decorated tree, no assembly needed!

     For the foodie in your life, they’ll probably enjoy the Negg Tree Trinket, a tree that’s decorated with one of Neopia’s most popular food staples: The Negg! Despite the unusual “ornaments'' this tree is amazingly decorated and is perfectly in the spirit of the season! Plus, you can use the Neggs for Christmas dinner!

     The Festive Book Tree is my personal favourite tree, and as a writer is it any guess as to why? If you're obsessed with books, this small little tree makes for a perfect decoration! Books wrapped in colourful gift wrap make up the entirety of this adorable tree! The only downside is that bookworms will be tempted to unwrap them early!

     The Tasty: Chocolate Tree, Tree Shaped Cookies, Holiday Tree Appetizer

     And now for trees that you can eat! There were a decent handful of tree shaped foods given out by the Advent Calender, but I decided to just share my personal favourites!

     Starting off we have the delicious Chocolate Tree, a yummy solid chocolate mould of a tree, with the tip having been dipped into White chocolate. It's a small but very satisfying snack! If you're still craving more, the tin of Tree Shaped Cookies is sure to please! It has a wide variety of cookies, from chocolate chip to snickerdoodle, all which have been shaped with Christmas tree cookie cutters!

     If you're seeking something more on the savoury side, the Holiday Tree Appetiser will surely appeal to your tastes! Tree shaped crackers are spread with a creamy cheese, sprinkled with garlic, and then drizzled with a mild spicy sauce. They are always quickly gone at holiday parties....yum!

     Bonus: Jubjub Christmas Tree

     Okay, this one is a toy, but still. How can you look at it and not find it adorable??? I always display this cute toy on my writing desk every month of Giving!
