Krawk Island Triumphs Again!
By Pharaohs333
Spectators stream into the pitch,
Krawk Island's here today.
Nervously, the opponents twitch,
They can't keep it at bay.
The whistle blows, the match begins,
the pirates grab the ball.
Looking for another win,
they charge and dart and score!
Make some noise!
The fans clap and cheer,
expressing their joys
of the team they hold dear.
The match resumes, Soley steals the ball.
His skills are second to none.
Spectators he doth enthrall,
making sure Krawk's number one.
Goal by goal Soley smashes in,
the keeper tries to catch.
Alas, much to his chagrin,
he is of no match!
The final score is revealed,
the fans stop to gawk.
The maximum damage's dealt;
it's fourteen to Krawk!

Ode to the Golden Peophin
By Anjie
Molten shimmer, sunset hue,
Mirage through silken cloud.
Scintillating, feathered wings,
Fair form aloof and proud.
Tones akin to sunlight's sheen,
On wingspan do unfold.
Silken tresses tumble down,
Caressing form of gold.
Fair, fair Lustra glides above,
Hooves brush the velvet sky.
Tracing over starlight's beams,
This vision, soaring high.
Dual fins in flawless symmetry,
To steer the flying steed.
Mane is combed by moonlight's touch,
Exquisite sight, indeed.
She alone may soar the sky,
Then swim the ocean blue.
Twin paradises, just for her,
A pleasure graced on few.
Ebbing tides, deserted shore,
As daylight shall conclude.
Peophin, a vision fair,
Sweet Lustra, golden-hued.

Lady Frostbite Seeks Battle
By Indulgences
So isolated on her isle,
So fierce in her repose,
She rules the Darblats as their queen.
Alone, her malice grows.
Her island's south of Island Krawk
And known to very few.
You would not want to find its site
For she would slay who knew.
Her fighting prowess honed by years
Of evil sorcery,
The villainess knows all too well
That none who fight her flee.
She strikes down foes with iron fists
And paranormal spells.
With magic frost and minions ice,
She gives them her farewells.
Now Lady Frostbite hungers for
A challenge fraught with risk.
Her wizardry is quite advanced,
Her summons bold and brisk.
She wants to dominate the world.
She lifts her head with pride.
She's fearless, cold, and arrogant.
She MUST be satisfied.
She dons a cloak of common cloth
To hide her blue Krawk form.
She leaves her icy, wintry home
To seek a clime that's warm.
Her manner becomes meek and soft.
Her eyes grow large and wide.
She seems like someone you can trust,
In whom you can confide.
But hidden underneath that guise
Is malice sharp and cruel.
She'll profit from your ignorance.
She'll play you for a fool.
Be careful not to fall for all
Her charms and furtive lies.
Beware her loveless, icy look.
There's fury in her eyes!

The Gladiator
By Alexmajor9
As you enter,
He stands close,
Armoured, proud protector.
Hall-bound hero
At his post,
This Grarrl must be Torakor.
Courageous heart,
A mighty sword,
No villain yet could tame him.
From sin to hope,
His soul moves forward,
Altador owes its guardian.
His emerald eyes
Staring, deep,
Summon fear to foes alike.
His agile step,
His silent creep,
A roar, his time to strike.
His shield held high,
A sparkling sheen,
He marches into war.
Yet motionless,
Still brave and keen,
A hero of the Hall.

What Lurks in the Deep
By Keikotoriyamacatnip
To a traveller's great dismay,
A place where peace was portrayed,
Lay in wait what lurks beneath,
The shells, sponges, and coral reef.
Beyond the Maraqua known to all,
Through a passage oh so small,
To the ruins of years gone by,
Now where only Slugawoo lie,
To a place of recreation,
An underwater excavation,
Neopets aquatic and arid,
Come to fish to remain placid.
Often catching fish and vegetation,
Or treasures of immense temptation,
Yet, every so often there comes a time,
When a reaching shadow disturbs sublime.
Approaching nearer to the docks,
A slimy tentacle appears above rocks,
Suddenly a monstrous figure emerges,
The pensive state of mind it purges.
A mollusk from depths unknown,
What a diet caused it to have grown,
Now staring into gulping eyes,
Shaking fisherman sensing demise.
Quivering Neopet covers his face,
Trying to mentally erase
A picture of the giant creature,
Sea predator of main feature.
When it seemed as though a year had past,
Neopet's eyes lay on a shadow vast,
The giant squid still remained,
But his visage seemed to be strained.
Upon a closer look at the dripping mass,
A green bundle stuck did surpass,
The area of one suction cup,
On the tentacle of this sea pup.
Pulling and tugging on the shell,
The slimy figure into water fell,
Then as it swam into the residue,
The Neopet knew it was a Slugawoo.
Inky squid now free from pain,
Returned to the place from where he reigned,
And as a last good-bye,
Waved with tentacle held high.
Yet, although a friend the Neopet did reap,
One should be wary of what lurks in the deep.
