Far along the waters blue,
The goal of sails and steady oars,
Rests Krawk Island, of mixed fame,
The rascal's den, the smuggler's wharf

Gambits, gambles, spontaneity
Bring to life the southern shore,
But at the distant reaches, a lonely plain
Lies untouched to the north

And beyond that, on the farthest point
Rests a quiet little beach
Of bitter winds and grounded wrecks,
To whom luck lay out of reach

Little slivers of the fortune lost
Lie forgotten in the shade,
Yet if you dare brave roughened ground
What remains can be reclaimed

An egg, forgotten, but still warm
Is nestled in the sand,
A treasure map holds its secrets still
And coins spill from ancient bags

Time passes under empty skies and sand,
Lost trinkets bob upon the seas,
The coast; a memento to forgotten things,
Yet it spurs our hopes and dreams.

Every single weekday,
I wait around with glee,
For the news to be announced,
And I wonder what we'll see.

If it is a species day,
There'll be some fancy clothes
And brand new colours available,
Perhaps something that glows?

An Art Gallery to please the eye
And poems for the heart,
Everyone on Neopets
Is able to take part.

And other days are special, too,
There's always something new,
A book, a cake, an avatar,
Or something nice to do.

It really is my favourite thing,
To read the daily news;
TNT have an ability,
Which means they can amuse.

So, when the weekend's here
And there's no news to be had,
I wait around 'til Monday
And it nearly drives me mad.

For I need my daily updates
That keep me in the know,
And I even read the old ones
That were written long ago.

Yet worry not, oh valiant one!
Your day in the sun will surely come,
When your lookup dons a trophy prize
That will bring tears to any Neopian's eyes!
