These pets all look dapper and dandy

Many are chocolate of milk
With drizzles like lace on fine silk
The Cybunny has a mane made of cream
Gnorbu, Yurble, Tonu too -- oh what a dream!

Some are chocolate so decadent and dark
With a texture like brittle or bark
The Blumaroo is one that's unique
From all others, save for the Kacheek!

Pteri's beak, Kiko's claws, and Uni's horn
Are all made of bright candycorn
Draik and Buzz wings made of wafers and waffle
Too cute and too sweet, it's unlawful!

Most have some sprinkles on top
Over piles of whipped cream that goes "plop!"
Chocolate is the most common kind
But on Wockies, it's rainbow you'll find!

And how could I possibly forget
Perhaps the most important asset
You must have a finishing touch
A cherry on top, set just as such!

Usually it's one placed just like so
There is an outlier or two though
Gelerts have two -- one on each ear
And Kois come with three sweet red spheres!

My favourite above all the rest
Is different, if you can guess
That one topped with candied strawberry
The Poogle of course makes me merry!

Last year’s yummy chocolate surprise,
Was the Orange Chocolate Vandagyre.
Including a Hassepuss, 
And Chocolate Cake Background.

Around the magnificent hall,
Of the Chocolate Ball,
Are stunning chocolate statues,
Keep an eye out for them in the news.

At the end of the night,
Guests will reach the plight,
How could this wonderful event,
Ever be surpassed.

The Chocolate Touch

There once lived a lonely Chia.
She loved chocolate and was named Fria.
She wasn’t lonely for being mean.
Fria was nice and very serene.

The real problem was her touch.
She’d turn things to chocolate with whipped cream and such.
She did not like this touch at all. 
She was cursed by someone that was tall.

Those around her stood afar. 
She scared them all like Balthazar.
This made Fria very sad.
She just wanted friends to make her glad.

She decided to go out for a walk.
She went to the park that was around the block.
Everyone ran the other way.
She began to cry, “I just want to play!”

Suddenly a Lupe came up to Fria.
“Don’t you see that I’m a Chia?”
The young Lupe just tilted his head.
He looked at the Chia without feeling dread.

He reached forward with his paw.
Fria was shocked and she dropped her jaw.
He held out some mittens that were white as snow.
“Put on these and I’m sure you will glow!”

She couldn’t believe what she just saw,
As she grabbed the mittens and closed her jaw.
The Lupe looked up and gave her a smile.
“It’s good to help others every once in a while.”

A Chocolate Dream

A night of dancing and of fun–

With pounding heart Siona screams,
Fulfilled now are her greatest dreams.
Wistful wishes as a little child–
Turned to reality, oh, how she smiled.

Not long ago she was a little duller–
Just last week she changed her colour.
A grey little Acara is what she was–
Now she admires her chocolate paws.

A little zapping is all it took,
For her to get her chocolate look.
Grey, then blue and then yellow–
She even turned into a fellow.

Now time it is to make her dress,
She whirls around to face a mess.
Some icing here and sprinkles there–
Materials are lying everywhere.

Together she stitches a fancy gown,
Assembles a little chocolate crown.
A finishing touch and it’s complete–
Siona admires her stunning feat.

Quickly then the night draws near–
One more sleep, and now it’s here!
With quiet step she enters the hall–
Oh how grand it is, the Chocolate Ball!

Siona dances the night away–
If only she could forever stay.
This memory will be always dear–
She will come again in another year.

The Chocolate Chia

Once upon a time there was a Chia
Who loved chocolate so very much.
He was invited to the Chocolate Ball
To sample every morsel he could clutch.

As soon as he arrived at the Ball
He gazed upon the chocolate fountains.
Cascading waterfalls: Milk, dark, and white
Surrounded by chocolate treats piled into mountains.

He excitedly grabbed a plate
And eagerly began to collect
Truffles, bonbons, and candy bars
They were all just so perfect!

Chocolate covered pretzels
And creamy chocolate pies.
Even the finest chocolate Neggs
He couldn’t believe his eyes!

He ate and he ate
Until his tummy could burst.
Sipping creamy hot chocolate
To quench his insatiable thirst.

And then something funny happened.
The Chia began to change.
Gooey fudge dripped from his head
This was certainly quite strange.

We have all heard the saying
“You are what you eat”
And that is how this Chocolate Chia
Turned into the sweetest chocolate treat!

The Rise of Chocolate Petpets

Yellow Kiko and Yellow Kookith,
Are they friends or are they foes?
Here's my theory on Chocolate Petpets
A story not everybody knows

There's no Paintbrush to make them
Yet they certainly exist
From the Meepit to the Staragus,
All born from one crazy twist

The Kiko owns the Factory
Where all chocolates are made
Each one carefully concocted
All ingredients are first-grade

The Kookith, such a little fellow
Is the Laboratory's sidekick
He has learned from the Mad Scientist
The meaning of every button click

One day the Kookith and Kiko met,
Both outside catching a tan
They started talking about chocolate
And a blooming friendship began

The Kiko was small enough for the passage
And followed his friend to the Laboratory
The Kookith immediately pressed some buttons
Lights lit the place in all of its glory

Adjusting their eyes to the shiny room
They spotted a Meepit, trembling his ears
Eyes wide open, pink face going pale,
The Kiko imagined, "how big are his fears?"

What nobody saw was what he had in hand
A chocolate truffle he stole from a pocket
He would face his fate along this sweet treat
While the machine whirled loudly like a rocket

A ray cut the cold air in the tiny place
And a sweet cocoa smell emerged from the centre
What they found was much better than the expectation
The Kookith would have to show that to his mentor!

The Meepit, poor thing, was now brown as cocoa
And surprisingly had whipped cream for a tail
Candy corn were his teeth, eyes so sugary sweet
What a crazy experiment, it certainly did not fail!

The Kiko was scared, "What have we created?",
Would the Petpet Protection League come for him?
The Kookith was laughing, exhilarated,
He didn't quite get why his friend looked so grim

And this was the last time the two figures met
The Kiko and Kookith, now a frenemy pair
They never quite mention what happened that day
And there's always tension if the same room they share

The first Chocolate Meepit still roams about
Wagging his little pompom of whipped cream
You may even spot him at the Chocolate Ball
To prove this sweet saga was not just a dream

Welcome to the Annual Chocolate Ball

“Welcome to the Annual Chocolate Ball!”
After many years, I had finally been invited to the halls
of the Chocolate Factory owned by a mysterious
Kiko, whose name no one knew. It was a serious
affair, deciding what to wear, pondering
who the other guests were, wandering
the owner’s Chocolate Factory.
So I wore my finest hat which I thought satisfactory:
A box of chocolates turned into a hat!
I stood around and chatted
with the other guests:
Brucey B, AAA, and the Better than You contest
host! Donned in our best dresses and suits,
we toured the factory, eating chocolates with fruit,
but most impressive of all
was why the host called it a ball–
carved chocolate statues
of each guest that night! Brucey B mused:
“You even carved the suit I’m wearing tonight!”
The strange Kiko smiled and said, “Go on, why don’t you take a bite?”

The Chocolate Factory Ball

Nobody ever goes in,
I know none have ever been.
Nobody ever comes out,
I can tell you without doubt.

But trucks keep backing up,
to deliver all their stuff.
Taking candy to the store,
all without opening the door.

The cheerful keeper of the factory,
has always been satisfactory.

He lovingly sells his wares,
seemingly without any cares.
And I can't seem to get enough,
resisting sugar is quite tough!

because I've heard a rumour,

at going to a fancy dance!
