The Promise of Neomail

Each day when I log on,
I'm guaranteed to see,
That little envelope on top,
That means mail is waiting for me.

Each letter makes a promise,
To me and only me,
Of contact with a Neofriend,
Of whom I've longed to see.

They're different and unique,
And rarely ever the same.
Because each different letter,
Is attached to a very different name.

The boards are fine and dandy,
But I can't wait till after,
When the person I was chatting with
Sends a Neomail full of laughter.

Whether it's trade, tips, or shop,
Or just the simple hello,
The Neomail that's received,
Makes me a very happy fellow.

The Hall of Heroes

The Hunter stands tall and proud,
Guarding his simple land.
A sword hangs at his armored side,
A bow sits in his hand.

The Protector steps high and fast,
Her ribbons flicking air.
A sun emblazoned on her dress,
The light shines in her hair.

The First to Rise is calm and thin,
She walks with noble grace.
Two novas shine upon her palms,
A simple smile is on her face.

The Thief slinks along the wall,
He smiles with crafty joy.
His body bent with secrets,
The knife he holds, a toy.

The Farmer holds his grain aloft,
And leaves adorn his brow.
He wears his simple armor well,
Away from crop and plow.

The Gladiator raises high,
His trusty shield and sword.
Ready to fight to the last,
At a command or single word.

The Sleeper stands and ponders,
She cocks her head in thought.
Her clothes are dark and fitting,
Her wings of stone are wrought.

The Wave stands at attention,
His noble head is bent.
Every inch is shod in metal,
In his hand a sharp trident.

The Gatherer is walking home,
Her fruits laid in a bowl.
The Petpets crowd around her feet,
All very round and small.

The Dreamer stands with small hands clasped,
And stares into the night.
She dreams the simple days away,
And stands next to the right.

The Collector holds his scales in hand,
His feet spread far apart.
He eyes your change with sharpened eye,
And keeps the truth at heart.

The Dancer weaves around and 'round,
Her feet skip across the floor.
She beats her tambourine in time,
As her audience calls for more.

The Hall of Heroes has them all,
The many souls of time,
Who helped their country in their turn,
And kept the land sublime.

Long Live Scarblade
