Amber eyes 'gainst onyx set
Smouldering smoking silhouette
Sleek soft nose of velvet made
And rearing mane of poignant red

Streaked with salmon
Marbled with yellow
Myriad fiery flowers bursting in bloom
On shadowy sinuous back
Shades of lemon
Beguilingly mellow
Whirling flames on tinted loom

Amber eyes 'gainst onyx set

Sooty tail sweeping in lazy game
A blazing wonder - the Xweetok aflame

The Flower Picking Xweetok Gnome

He sits in the garden, unmoving as plaster,
A billowing blossom clutched in a paw,
From his chin flows a beard of silk,
Curling and drooping around his maw.

Through seasons hot and cold he waits,
His eyes upon the sidewalk,
A cute and silent little guard,
Clutching his bepetaled stalk.

And then it comes, that blessed day,
For which he's waited long,
His eyes shine brighter through the snow,
That's fallen all night long.

Here comes the living Xweetok now,
Bedecked in lights and wreathes,
Staggering beneath his load
Of hall and chimney treats.

But as he passes there he stops,
And droops a little hat
Of scarlet with a white puff ball
On the Gnome with a pat.

A smile curls on his Gnomish mouth,
Hidden beneath his beard,
But he wishes everyone Christmas Joy
And endless Christmas cheer!

The Mutant Xweetok

From want of sun and daily mourning
Springs this beast with no forewarning,
Breathing of its ghostly soul,
Innocence corrupt to full,
Haunts the morns and sunsets.

Snakelike shadowed amber eyes
Glow in bulge of different size;
Fangs of ivory and pearl
Inward over lip they curl,
To ugly tips they sharpen.

And steel-gray fur of varied shades
Seals this odd Xweetok charade,
Coming to this sad conclusion:
Innocence is just confusion,
Muddled by our mortal minds.

Xweetok Shimmer

Illuminated in dark sky,
A distant shimmer, drifting by.
Lithe dancing on the starlit beam,
The tiny creature's form doth gleam.
A Xweetok dappled by star's light,
Exquisite vision in the night.

Regal cobalt shines her coat,
In evening breeze do silk strands float.
Like wisps that bow to wind's own whim,
Amongst the stars does Xweetok swim.
Glistening are her pelt's soft strands,
Upon moon's crescent, creature stands.

Scattered like the sky's own gleam,
Upon her form, such patterns seen.
Luminous the golden glow,
Bright beauty doth such sheen bestow.
Vibrant creature, so unique,
Starry Xweetok, lithe and sleek.

Fragile paws in scattered dance,
On moonlights dust, a daydream prance.
Her motions careless, lit with grace,
Sublime the stars on tiny face.
Such subtle glitter, seen afar,
The Xweetok shimmers, like a star.
