He had always looked for a way out, he didn't like his owners, so he ran away.
He roamed Neopia, looking for somewhere where he could be happy, then he found
the gateway, he was stumbling through a forest at night when he found a clearing
with a sign, the sign said to turn around, he did so and saw a door just here,
he hadn't seen it before, he cautiously opened the door. The bright light overtook
him.
The next thing he knew he was in a small room and in it was a small desk and
on that was a sheet of paper and a pen, on the wall in front of that were some
questions he sat down and started to write the answers on the piece of paper
he stopped on the last one and thought, ' What would I like my name to be in
NeoPets?' He knew he was being taken to NeoPets, because it explained that at
the top, he though for a bit then filled in S28, again a bright light overtook
him and again he was somewhere different, he looked around to his left was an
arch with a sign above it saying 'Create-A-Pet' to his right was an arch labeled
'Adopt-A-Pet'. Boldly he walked through the arch on his left. He looked at the
posters on the walls and chose a Lupe as the pet he wanted. It looked as tough
it was tough, but loyal to friends. He touched the poster and was taken to a
room where there was a person standing there, he was asked some questions.
The first was: Now S28, what would you like your pet's name to be? He thought
for a second, then said in a loud clear voice, "Can my Lupe's name be 'Friend'?"
He had never had a friend before, at his school nobody liked him and he was
left alone, he thought a pet named friend would be a help around NeoPets, he
was asked more questions, like what gender etc. He was then engulfed by another
bright light, and appeared in front of a house and the name of the house was
'S28's home'. He, quite slowly not knowing what was inside, opened the door,
inside was a hallway and some stairs going up to a second floor, he walked around
the house, pinched himself, and then walked upstairs, their were two rooms,
one labeled as his room, the other as Friend's room. He thought, Where is
my pet, actually? He opened the door and inside saw a green Lupe lying on
the bed asleep, dreaming. He gently woke the Lupe up. The green dog's eyes opened
to reveal two deep brown eyes.
The Lupe jumped up and looked at S28 in amazement, after a while the Lupe
said, "Who are you?" S28 was stunned, he quickly replied, that he was S28. The
Lupe held out a paw, and said that he was Friend. S28 shook the paw kindly and
asked quite timidly as not to seem a fool, "What do we do now?" The Lupe seemed
to be a bit taken back by this. S28 slowly stood up and walked out slowly, he
walked downstairs into the kitchen; none of the cupboards had anything in. S28
and his pet walked outside to go find out about the world around them.
1 Month Later...
"Friend, come here!"
Friend hurtled downstairs and into the kitchen, S28 was sitting at the table
drinking a cup of Neocola, he stopped drinking and said, "Friend, ever since
we first met a month ago, we've been best of friends and as its our one month
anniversary today I bought something special, to celebrate the occasion I have
bought a cake from the bakery and have bought you a small present. Here it is."
He hands Friend a small furry toy.
"Oh my GOD! A Rainbow Fuzzle! Thank you so much, I've wanted one of these since
I started going to school and everybody had a Fuzzle and I didn't, but now I
have the best of the lot!" said the overexcited Lupe.
"And one more small present for you, follow me."
The two walk out of the door and walk into Neopia Central. They walk into
the main shops, but instead of going to the bazaar to get toys or sweets, they
head towards the Rainbow Pool and S28 pulls something out of his backpack and
threw it into the pool, Friend jumped in after it and felt the coldness of the
paint rush over his green body, but when he got out of the pool he looked at
his paws and thought they were on fire! He looked again and realised that S28
had thrown a Fire Fire You Pants On Fire Paint Brush into the pool, Friend knew
how much they cost, his friends were all painted Disco, or White or Christmas,
but no one was painted fire, everyone knew how much they cost, nigh on 100,000
NP. Friend walked up to S28 and pulled something out of his backpack, which
he noticed was fire also, and pulled out a small little package, saying, "I
remember you said that you loved chocolate, but could never find any human chocolate
on Neopia, well I asked the Shop Wizard and he took an hour or so pouring over
books and eventually found some in a small shop on the edge of the market, it
cost me all my money, I hope you like it."
As he talks S28 is unwrapping the package, inside was a lump of white chocolate
the size of a paving stone. Together they walked home, the recluse of the human
world turned normal and with a pet and a friend.
