Fellow decided to venture high in the sky, back to where he was born... Faerieland.
"Ah, this is nice. Back to the homeland. I should catch up on some reading. I'm
good friends with the shopkeeper Faerie at the Book Shop; perhaps she will let
me borrow a book or two."
Fellow arrived at the quaint Faerieland Book Shop. It was a truly beautiful
sight, the room covered with shelves and shelves of countless books. And because
it was a Faerie's shop, it always had that special "glow". Fellow pushed the
door open, and was greeted as soon as he entered.
The Faerie looked up from her book and sprung from her seat. "Fellow! How
are you, dear? Come, sit down, look at all the new books I've got!"
"Hello Camilla. I'm fine, thank you for asking. Take a look at all these books!
You shop looks beautiful. Excellent work, it just seems to be getting better
and better!" exclaimed Fellow, who took a seat beside Camilla's desk.
"So, how's the family? How is Saph and the rest of the gang doing? Hey, where
is everyone?" Camilla said, tossing her thick brown hair out of the way.
"Erm, yes... the family is fine. The Neopets are all at home; they were pretty
tired today, so us Petpets decided to have some adventures of our own." said
Fellow, as he gazed at the Book Shop, still in awe.
"How exciting! Well, look what I have for you. It's never been read... why
don't you go find a nice comfy spot in the clouds and you can bring it back
to me when you are done." Camilla handed Fellow the heavy book.
"Being Faerie Queen. WOW! Isn't this Fyora's biography? Thank you so
much, Camilla!" Fellow said, excited.
"Yes, it is. Fyora came by not so long ago to give me a copy. So have fun,
and don't forget to return it!" Camilla chimed as Fellow walked out the door.
Fellow found the perfect place to sit. A sunny spot with soft, cotton-y clouds.
This is nice, thought Fellow. Just as he started to get comfortable and
began reading the first page, a Faerie Chia, a Faerie Aisha and a Faerie JubJub
sat down beside him, laughing.
"You know Mandie, that was a good one!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! You really got her
there!!!"
"I know, baby sisters are SO gullable!!"
The laughter roared on. Fellow tried to continue reading.
"Who saw the M*YNCI concert on TV last night?! Did you guys see JoJoe? HE
IS SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!"
"OMG! And I, totally love their new song, ChiaPOP!"
The giggles and the talking got even louder. Fellow looked up from his book,
annoyed. Just then, a Kyrii ran by with a camera. SNAP! The flash hurt Fellow's
eyes.
"Thanks so much guys! The name's Paul. You guys are going to be in Caption
Competition 156... is that ok with all of you?!"
Fellow nodded. The other Neopets began to giggle again. "Did you see that?
He was, like SO cute! I think he likes us! Tee Hee Hee Hee Hee!"
Fellow picked up his book and walked away. He missed his Petpet friends. He
missed Saph and the other Neopets. He sat down again, and started to read once
more.
