Luna_8080 and the Dark Faerie by fire_faerie_8080 | |
It had been three months since my sister, cherish808, had been involved with a
scheme of the Uber Dark Faerie’s. I was glad it was supposedly over. I was a very
new pet to the family. I am Luna_8080 the silver Shoyru, just Luna for short.
I didn’t have a Petpet yet, but I was content to play with my sister’s pets instead.
There was Angel the Miamouse, a notorious trouble maker, and of course, Seasong
the Searex, a sometime partner in the crime. Then there was Joy the Angelpuss,
who was really a good Petpet, for the most part. I sighed and rolled over, unlocking
the drawer with all my neopoints in it. I had saved up 2000 NP... not enough to
buy anything I wanted. I wished that maybe I could have an Angelpuss like my friend
amy3460 the Faerie Gelert had. I'd prefer a blue one, but I suppose any color
would do. *Ding, Ding, Ding* I leapt up and ran over to my computer to answer
my neomail, which of course was from amy3460, or usually just Amy for short.
Luna,
I found something really cool near the border between the Spooky Woods and the
Lost Desert. Come as quickly as you can!

I ran downstairs and borrowed my sister's Sword of Domar from out of the closet.
Then, I grabbed a knapsack and some stuff I might need. I was well known for
always being prepared and, well, you couldn’t blame me... considering my family
history. I packed some food and drinks. I took some NP from my drawer and threw
it in there, too. I also took a small amount of rope and a Rainbow Gun for back
up. Then, I left a note on the door saying I was off to see Amy, and would be
back soon.
That's when I made my way to the coast; I took a running leap and soared into
the air. I carefully glided to the edge of the Lost Desert, circling over carefully
until I spotted the tell-tale twinkle of my friend's mirror reflecting in the
hot sun. I carefully landed, only stumbling a little. I was still a bit shaky
at flying, since I was younger... but I did well for my age, too. I walked over
to Amy, who was panting as she sat.
"Look... look at this," she panted gratefully, accepting the bottled water
I had brought along.
I looked carefully at what she had in her hand. It was a strange spider-looking
thing. Then, upon closer examination, I noted that it was spider made out of
silver, with a crystal center seemingly filled with a thick red liquid. I brought
out some gloves that had happened to be in my bag, and picked it up carefully
putting it into a small metal box I had.
"Amy, I am going to take this home to my sisters, because it could be dangerous,"
I told her while carefully packing the box safely in my bag.
"Fine," she said, "then I am coming too, because I refuse to give up my trinket
unless it is dangerous," she continued in a defiant tone.
We walked to a flatter space of sand, then took off towards my house, hopefully
to discover what this spider thing was.
