"Mum I'm home!" I called out.
"OK sweetie, did you bring Amy?" she called back.
"Yes, Mum, I did," I answered.
"Um Mum I need to call a meeting in the kitchen. Stat!" I called to her.
"OK, I'll get your sisters," she replied.
Once we all assembled in the kitchen with some refreshments I addressed my
family.
"Uh I'm not sure if anybody knows what this is but Amy found it and well its
very peculiar and I was hoping you could tell me what it is," I told them as
I carefully placed the spider on the table in an upright position.
"I guessed it was a spider and the body seems to be made out of silver with
a crystal set in the middle body segment filed with a thick red liquid," I told
them as my sister Air_Faerie_8080 began to examine it.
"Hmm.... it seems to be scorpion which is a type of spider. It seems harmless
but you never know," Air Faerie said inspecting it carefully.
She light lightly prodded it and it came to life.
"Whoa! Get back!" Chloe52589 yelled as it viciously tried to attack Air Faerie
with its sharply pointed tail.
"Relax," said Air Faerie calmly as she watched it being pinned down by Amy's
Gelert Wand.
"Is it magic Air Faerie?" I asked for I had never seen a piece of metal behave
so strangely.
"I suppose it is," she replied carefully prodding it with her Sword of Domar
watching its vain efforts to get at her.
"Well until we can find out what it is I want it locked up in that box. Understand!?"
fire_faerie_8080 said as she quickly scooped it into the box and shut and locked
it with a resounding click.
"All right mum," we chorused together.
"I am going to go to the Faerie City and ask the Air Faerie if she knows anything
about this," Air Faerie said.
"I am going with you," said Chloe, "I would like to talk to the Faerie Queen,
that is if she will give me an audience, and maybe ask her or at least borrow
some ancient texts,"
"I'll go to maybe the Light Faerie will help me," said cherish808 excitedly.
"I have to go Luna see you later," said Amy and they all left even fire_faerie_8080
who decided to go to the Healing Springs and buy a Healing Potion.
I sighed and went up to my room. I put the box in my desk drawer. I wished
I knew how to help but I wasn't sure how. I thought and thought and thought
some more soon I fell asleep. Then the Fire Faerie appeared in my dream.
"Danger! Danger is near not all things are what they appear," she chanted
and then disappeared.
I jerked awake and went to the bathroom. I washed my face breathing heavily
unsure at what the Fire Faerie was talking about. I sighed and heard the front
door. I knew my family was home I rushed downstairs eager to find out what they
had learned.
"I'm sorry Luna no one found an answer the Faeries said they would look into,"
Air Faerie said shaking her head dejectedly. By that time is time to go to bed
I went and fell straight to sleep. Meanwhile... While we were all asleep my
drawer gave a violent shake and out tumbled the Silver Scorpion onto the floor
and scuttled into the hall and headed for Air_Faerie_8080's room.

The Scorpion silently slid into Air Faerie's room. She was sleeping peacefully.
Her tail was hanging off the bed almost touching the floor. It was completely
exposed and vulnerable. The scorpion sidled even closer to her exposed tail
until it was right beside it. It was poised ready to strike. It stopped a moment
as Air Faerie shifted slightly but she didn't wake and then the scorpion struck
and attached itself to Air Faeries tail as she let out and anguished shriek.
"Ahhh!" she screamed leaping up and looking to see what was so painful as
we all came thundering into the room.
"Air Faerie what's wrong?" I asked.
"Something bit me and it hurts," she cried looking at her tail with tears
streaming down her face.
"Oh my gosh! Air Faerie, its the Scorpion!" cried out cherish.
"Quick get it off," Chloe yelled as she frantically began to tug at it but
no matter what we tried we couldn't get it off.
Suddenly Air Faerie began to sweat and shake.
"Guys I don't feel so well," she said sinking to the floor looking very sick
indeed.
"Air Faerie its okay honey lets get you into bed," said fire_faerie_8080 carefully
picking up Air Faerie and putting her in bed then covering her up. Then she
went down stairs to get some stuff for Air Faerie.
"Oh!" I cried out smacking myself in the head, "Air Faerie is being poisoned,"
I cried looking at the Scorpion still embedded in her tail, "look at the Scorpion
I am almost certain! The red liquid is part way gone and the Scorpions tail
is embedded in her tail and it seems to lead from the chamber with the red liquid!"
"Oh my gosh! Your right I can't believe we overlooked this," cried out Chloe.
"I'm not sure how it got out of the box but it must be magic to have done
it," commented Cherish bringing in the box still locked.
"But why did it go after Air Faerie," I said my eyes watering with emotion.
All the sudden I felt quite cold and so did my sisters we were all shivering.
I looked down and saw something I had hoped never to see. I saw wisps of purple
smoke.
"I think I can answer that. Muhahaha!" the Uber Dark Faerie cackled.
"You!" I said my blood boiling just looking at her evil face. I made a rush
at her but was held back by my sisters.
"Let me go I want to tear her limb from limb," I growled fighting against
there grasp.
"Control yourself," said Chloe52589 harshly.
"What do you want?" asked Cherish coldly while still struggling to keep a
firm grip on myself.
"I merely came to see how the patient was," she said her face going into a
evil grin while she glided over to Air Faerie.
"All right that's it get out!" I yelled violently struggling even harder against
my sisters.
"Don't you want this though," she said pulling out a vial with a blue liquid
in it.
"What's that?" I asked my sisters letting me go because I had brought myself
under control.
"The antidote," she said and then added nastily, " if you want your beloved
sister to live then you must do as I say. Haha!"
"What do you want us to do?" I asked my Shoyru sister being my idol I didn't
want anything to happen to her.
"Well number one she said you must come and work in my castle," she said looking
at us with a gleam in her eye.
"How long do we have to think," said Chloe in a strained voice.
All the sudden Air Faerie sat up.
"Whatever she wants you to do don't do it," she cried out struggling up in
her bed grimacing from the burning pain.
"Oh look the little hero has finally joined us in the world of the living...
for now," said the Dark Faerie grinning evilly.
"You are a monster and I don't care what happens you aren't going to force
my family to do something because of me," she painfully stood up leaning against
the bed post.
"I will give you some time to think I will be back in twelve hours," she said
sourly and then turning upon her heel she disappeared into a puff of purple
smoke.
I helped Air Faerie back into bed then I sped out the door after finally prying
the Scorpion off my sister's tail.
