One day, as the Air Faerie was getting ready for a day of blessing
pets and making spells, she realised she wasn’t looking very Faerie-like.
“Ick! What happened to that sky blue eye shadow and
lipstick set? It has to be here somewhere!” she shrieked. So she searched all
throughout her tower, in her sock drawer, in her pants drawer, and even her
shirt drawer. She tried under her bed, under the pillow, and in her spell room,
but it was nowhere to be found. She went back up to her dressing room to see
if she still needed them.
“Well, I might be able to get by without my eye shadow and
lipstick…” then she looked into the mirror. “Oh no! I’m all dirty from all that
searching! Now I need to take a bath, shampoo and condition my hair, and--Ahh!
Where’s my soap? What, no towel either?! Looks like that Dark Faerie has paid
me a visit. Why does she always have to do this? Oh well. I guess I will just
go give some people quests for my sky blue eye shadow, sky blue lipstick, soap,
and a towel… Oh darn! That’s four people, and way too many blessings, four?
In one day? Oh man! Well, this will just have to do.”
So off she went, looking for worthy people to send on her quests.
She first searched throughout Faerieland, but saw only one person that seemed
worthy of her first quest: Sky Blue Eye shadow.
“Excuse me, but would you like to go on a quest?” she asked
the person.
“Well, I guess so. What do you need?” the Neopian asked.
“I need Sky Blue Eye Shadow. But beware, the Shop Wizard is
off limits for quests," replied the Air Faerie, who then disappeared into
a puff of blue smoke to search for other people to take on her quests.
“Well, I better head over to the Grooming Parlour. They ought
to have eye shadow there,” said the Neopian.
When the Air Faerie got to Mystery Island, she immediately
started searching. She came around to Coconut Road, and walked along it for
a long while until she got to 2664 Coconut Road and sat down in the shade of
a nearby Coconut Tree to rest. All of a sudden, a little blue Uni came out of
the house on 2664 Coconut Road.
“Hello,” it said. “My name is EarnhardtJr_8. You can call me
Ernie. Can I help you? Would you like to come inside for some Chia Pops? They
are really refreshing on a hot summer’s day like this! Come on in!”
“Thank you!” said the Air Faerie. They went inside for Chia
Pops.
“Which flavour would you like? We have Lemon, Blue Apple, Blueberry,
Apple, Avocado, and- actually, I think that’s it. So what’ll it be?” asked EarnhardtJr_8.
“Let’s see here…” thought the Air Faerie. “I think I’ll have
Lemon. I’ve always enjoyed sour flavours, most people think it weird, but not
me.”
“Alrighty then. Lemon it’ll be," said EarnhardtJr_8, handing
her the Lemon Chia Pop. “So what brings you all the way out here to Mystery
Island? Don’t you live in Faerieland?” he asked.
“Well, actually,” said the Air Faerie. “I was searching for
some people to send out on quests. I really need Sky Blue Lipstick, a Bar of
Soap, and a Towel. Do you know anyone who can help me?”
“Oh yes! I’ll go get my owner, Jen313! We’d be more than willing
to get you all those items!” said EarnhardtJr_8.
All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. KNOCK, KNOCK!
“Who is it?” EarnhardtJr_8 yelled through the door.
“KidKompu1189! Is the Air Faerie there?” asked the person at
the door.
“Yes, I’m here. Do you have that eye shadow yet?” replied the
Air Faerie.
“Yes, that’s why I’m here. Could you let me in?” said KidKompu1189.
EarnhardtJr_8 raced to the door and opened it. “Uh, hello.
The Air Faerie is right here,” he said.
KidKompu1189 went over to the Air Faerie. “Here’s the Sky Blue
Eye Shadow. I hope it does you well!” he said.
The Air Faerie took the Sky Blue Eye Shadow and said some magic
words, “Swift and Speedy, Speedy and Swift. Make these pets Speedy and Swift.
Now Ilena393 is a little faster.”
“Thanks!” said KidKompu1189. And off he went, back to his home
on Faerieland.
“Well as we were saying, your owner Jen313 could complete my
quests?” asked the Air Faerie.
“Oh, yes! I’ll go get her," EarnhardtJr_8 said, and he
went upstairs. “Jen313! Jen313! The Air Faerie is here! We have a quest!” he
told Jen313.
“Oh really, you aren’t kidding, right? Oh cool! I’ll be right
down!” Jen313 said as she put down her book, which happened to be Defense For
Unis, by the way, and raced down the stairs into the ‘Welcome Room’. “Why hello,
Air Faerie. You have a quest for us?” Jen313 asked.
“Well, yes. I really need Sky Blue Lipstick, a Bar of Soap,
and a Towel. If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, do you accept?” replied the
Air Faerie.
“Why of course!” said Jen313. “And I promise we won’t use the
Shop Wizard!”
“Thank you!” said the Air Faerie. “Good-bye!” And she vanished
into a puff of blue smoke.
“Wow EarnhardtJr_8! C’mon, let’s go get Skippy1229, Unianna_Dreama,
and Unianna_Dreamer! It’s off to the Neopian Bazaar for us!” Said Jen313, as
she went upstairs. “Skippy1229! Unianna_Dreama! Unianna_Dreamer! C’mon guys,
we’re on a quest! Let’s go to the Neopian Bazaar!”
Everyone came downstairs. “Oh cool! Whatta we need to get?”
asked Skippy1229.
“We need Sky Blue Lipstick, a Bar Of Soap, and a Towel. I’m
thinking we can get it all at the grooming shop, don’t you?” said EarnhardtJr_8,
who had obviously been planning the whole thing out in his head a while.
“Good idea!” said the twins, Unianna_Dreama and Unianna_Dreamer
at the same time.
So off they went to the boat hire, to take a boat to Neopia
Central.
“I love boats!” said EarnhardtJr_8. “Especially when there’s
waves, there just so fun to watch!”
“I hate boats!” said Skippy1229, who is a Meerca, and just
in case you don’t know, Meercas love to bounce, which you simply cannot do on
a boat.
After a long discussion about if boats were exciting or boring,
they finally got to the harbour.
“Hooray!” shouted Skippy1229, who immediately started bouncing
all over the place. “C’mon, what are we waiting for, let’s go off to the Bazaar!”
And off they went. First they past the Market place. “I dunno
guys, this place is pretty big, what if we get lost?” said Unianna_Dreama.
“Oh, C’mon! It’s not like we’re in Spooky Woods or something!
Why are we going so slowly? How ‘bout we pick up the pace? We haven’t got all
year!” said EarnhardtJr_8.
And that is exactly what they did. They flew through the Marketplace,
past the Main Shops, and finally arrived at the Neopian Bazaar. First they past
the toy shop.
“Can’t we go in just to look around? We so rarely get to come
here, and since we’re here, don’t you think we deserve a few new toys?” asked
Unianna_Dreama.
“Maybe on the way back, Unianna_Dreama. But for now, we have
to go to the grooming shop," Said Jen313. And to the grooming shop they went.
Past the Vending Machine and Health Food Shop, and to the Grooming Shop.
“We’re here! Hooray!” shouted Unianna_Dreamer as they walked
in. “Wow! This place is huge! Let’s go get everything!”
“I don’t know, Unianna_Dreamer. I think we better ask someone
who works here to show us around," said Jen313. She walked up to a friendly
looking Usul all dressed in purple. “Excuse me, but do you know where we could
find some lipstick?” Jen313 asked the Usul.
“Why of course! Just follow me," she said. So they followed
the Usul through the shop until they came to a counter with a huge lipstick
display. Behind the counter was another Usul all dressed in purple. “She can
help you from here," she said as she walked away.
“Hi. We’re looking for Sky Blue Lipstick. How much will that
cost?” asked Jen313.
“Um, just wait here a moment. I’ll go check," replied
the Usul. So they waited. And waited. And waited. Until finally the Usul came
back. “Sorry," he said. “We’re sold out. But what we do have is Blue Lipstick.
How is this colour? It is pretty close to Sky Blue. It is by the best company
though, Neo. How about it? It only costs 25 NP.”
“Okay, we’ll take it," said Jen313 as she gave him 25
NP. “Oh yeah, here’s my saving card. Would you happen to know where we could
find a bar of soap and a towel? We need those too," she said.
“Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Follow me," he replied.
He came out from behind the counter and led them to another section of the store.
“Right here,” he said while pointing. “Is the soap. We have bottled soap and
a bar of soap. Which did you say you wanted again?” he asked.
“We need the bar of soap," said Jen313. The Usul handed
the bar of soap to her. “Thanks!” said Jen313. “Now we just need a towel.” The
Usul led them farther down the isle, and grabbed a towel.
“Here you go," he said. “Will that be all?”
“Yup, that should be all. Thank you, you’ve been a great help!
Bye!” said Jen313. So off they went to the register. “We have a Bar of Soap
and a Towel. How much will that cost?” she asked.
“46 NP," said the Usul at the register. They paid, flashed
their savings card, and started for Faerieland.
When they arrived at the Air Faerie’s Castle, they knocked
at the door and shouted, “It’s us! We have the items you wanted!”
The Air Faerie opened the door. “Hello!” she said. “I’m so
glad you’re here. Thanks so much for the items," she said as Jen313 handed
her the bag with everything in it.
“Why do you need these items anyway, though? I mean, you’re
already beautiful you are a Faerie. Plus, who cares what you look like? Sometimes,
you have to well, breathe!” said EarnhardtJr_8.
“Yeah. I guess you’re right, Ernie. I ought a worry less about
how I look. Thanks for the items anyway. You know what? Since you got me 3 items,
and taught me something so important, I am going to bless all 4 of you pets,
and your owner, Jen313.” By now everyone was extremely excited. “Swift and Speedy,
Speedy and Swift. Make these pets Speedy and Swift. All of you pets are faster
now. And, Luck and Success, Success and Luck. Make this girl successful and
lucky. Now you, Jen313, will have great luck and success," Said the Air
Faerie. “You know what? It’s getting pretty late. You might not have time to
get back to your NeoHome. Would you like to spend the night? I have a guest
room upstairs near my room. How about it?”
“We’d love to!” they all said in unison. So they spent the
night in the Air Faerie’s Castle after what was probably the most exciting and
valuable days of their lives.
