The Air Faerie's Sword: Part One

by twayblade807

I suggest you read this story and that story before you read this one (if you haven't already done so). If you do, you will understand the story far better, because this is a sequel. Also, there's something I've always meant to say - almost all of the stories I write are stereotyped one way or the other, usually against Dark Faeries. No offence to Dark Faerie fans, because I'm actually one too! Enjoy the story!

Jhudora looked intently into her Jhudora's Crystal Ball, which she was very fond of. "What are Luperusse (pronounced Loop-er-rus) and Skeithena doing right now?" she asked the Crystal Ball. "I will take revenge on them for spoiling my plans so many times!"

The inside of the Crystal Ball seemed to form a picture - a Baby Aisha, which Jhudora recognised as Fluffy, an Aisha whom Luperusse and Skeithena often baby-sat.

"Aha!" said Jhudora triumphantly. "Now, are there any Musho Peas in the house?"

The image of the Baby Aisha melted into a Pea and Ham Baby Food tin, with a cross over it. "Excellent, excellent..." said Jhudora, satisfied. She took two crates (that she had once used to try and kidnap Luperusse and Skeithena) in each of her hands, and flew out of her Cloud.

***

Jhudora stuck her index finger out towards the door of Sharon's (the owner of Luperusse and Skeithena) house. "Open!" she commanded, in a deep voice. The door opened silently.

"Sharon, Jess, is that you?" Skeithena's voice rang out. "You've already come back?"

Jhudora didn't bother to answer. She just put Skeithena and Fluffy in one crate, and Luperusse (who was still holding a delicious Rose Shake in one paw) in another. Of course, she didn't forget to lock the crates, with a large, old-fashioned key of hers, made out of some purple metal, with little bright-green wings. Once sure that the crates were securely locked, Jhudora flew back in the direction of Faerieland.

In their crate, Skeithena and Fluffy looked at each other, petrified.

***

"All right, I've got you now, you three," cackled Jhudora. She waved her hand, and the doorway to the Cloud was sealed, so that no one could go in - and no one could get out. Jhudora opened the crate that Fluffy and Skeithena were in, and took Fluffy out, closing and locking the crate door again. Jhudora faced Fluffy. "Aisha, open your mouth!" she barked.

Fluffy did not answer, or do anything, so Jhudora held her nose, and Fluffy would run out of air, unless she opened her mouth, and, of course, she did. Jhudora smiled with satisfaction and stuffed a Jhudaberry Omelette, which would make her a slave of Jhudora, straight down Fluffy's throat - she didn't even have time to chew it.

In an instant, just as Luperusse had once before, Fluffy transformed into a green-and-purple Aisha, grew up in size, and she was now a slave of Jhudora. Jhudora slaves could only be turned back to normal if they ate an Illusen food. Skeithena and Luperusse cried out in horror.

Luperusse, still holding the Rose Shake, threw it through the bars of the crate at Fluffy, who Jhudora had picked up. But just in time, Jhudora dropped Fluffy - now, instead of Fluffy drinking the Rose Shake, it was Jhudora who drank it. Of course, the Rose Shake was supposed to cure Fluffy from her Jhudora-slavery. But now all hope was lost.

But, both Luperusse and Skeithena noticed, Jhudora was changing miraculously. Her clothes changed, the colour of her clothes changed...within thirty seconds, Jhudora had become Illusen. But while Jhudora had been transforming, Luperusse, whose crate was next to his throne, sneaked a couple of Jhudora's Potions into his crate.

"I look like Illusen now!" wailed the Jhudora who now looked like Illusen. "Oh, the shame, the shame!" She reached for her Dark Faerie Wand, and tried to use it on Luperusse, who had thrown the Rose Shake, but nothing happened, because only Dark Faeries (and some NeoPets) can use the Dark Faerie Wand. "I can't even use my own weapons!" she screeched. "Idiot Lupe! Idiot Rose Shake! I'M AN ILLUSEN WITH JHUDORA'S MIND TRAPPED IN IT! Oh, but then..." The Jhudora-Illusen smiled, with an evil glint in her eye. "Aha! I know what I will do! Now, you, Luperusse, and you, Skeithena, shall come with me...so that you won't wreak any havoc in here while I'm gone...Aisha, stay here..." She unsealed the entrance of the Cloud, flew out with the crates of Luperusse and Skeithena, and sealed the door again, the way a Neopian would lock their NeoHome door.

***

Illusen stared at Jhudora-Illusen in shock. "I'm seeing double!" she cried, putting her hand on her forehead.

     "You're not," Jhudora-Illusen said, snatching Illusen's Blade.

"My Blade!" squealed Illusen. "My double has stolen my Blade! My precious sword! Help! Help! Chia Police! Help!" But of course, no one came. Everyone in Meridell, of course, was busy counting potatoes and building turnips, and doing such other things. Most of them had decided that Illusen's Quests were a waste of Neopoints. The Earth Faerie took up her Staff and Jhudora-Illusen and Illusen began to fight.

"You've still got a couple of Jhudora's Potions," Skeithena grinned, looking at Jhudora-Illusen and Illusen, who were now having a tug-of-war over Illusen's Staff, which was obviously the more powerful weapon. But earlier on, Jhudora-Illusen had been holding the Illusen's Blade and Illusen had been holding her Staff - that had been the only way Skeithena and Luperusse could distinguish the two of them. Now, both "Illusens" looked identical, and the two NeoPets had no means of telling the difference between them.

Luperusse murmured back, "What use will they be? I took those Jhudora's Potions for self-defence. If I knock Illusen and Jhudora out with this Potion, they'll just wake up and continue fighting. I think Jhudora will win. Illusen really does fight much in her life, and Jhudora does. So, say Jhudora destroys Illusen, and then she'll just," he gulped, "do the same to us."

Skeithena nodded. "I agree with you, but there's no harm in trying. The Jhudora's Potion bottles are pretty small, and the gaps between the crate door bars are pretty big. Do you think I'll be able to throw the Potions at them?"

"Skeithena, Skeithena, Skeithena!" sighed Luperusse. "You STILL think that the Potions will help? Honestly, Luperusse, you are just too stubborn. Just because I knock them out doesn't mean - "

But the Skeith had already snatched both Potions from Luperusse and was getting ready to hurl a Potion at one of the "Illusens". The Potion hit the Illusen on their right.

The Illusen who had not been hit grinned evilly at Luperusse. "Ha, thanks for helping me defeat my opponent, Luperusse my friend, or rather, my ex-slave! Now, I'll just take this Staff, destroy you two, and take over Neopia! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The Staff is even more powerful than my Wand...perhaps being Illusen is not such a bad thing!" She yawned widely, not bothering to cover her mouth (Just because a Dark Faerie is transformed into an Earth Faerie doesn't mean she'll have better manners).

While Jhudora-Illusen was yawning, Luperusse threw the Jhudora's Potion into her mouth. Jhudora-Illusen swallowed it without meaning to.

Because Jhudora-Illusen had swallowed the Potion, it had a strange effect that no known Neopian had ever seen before. Jhudora-Illusen fainted, while she transformed back into her Jhudora self. Both Skeithena and Luperusse knew that Jhudora couldn't touch any of Illusen's weapons now.

"All right," said Luperusse, "I admit that you saved Neopia by turning Jhudora back into her former self - like Jhudora herself said, Illusen's Staff is more powerful than the Dark Faerie Wand. But we have a tiny little problem here. Even if you saved Neopia, you didn't save us!"

Skeithena grinned. "That's the beauty of my plan. The last time we were caught in these crates, you said that you couldn't eat the crate. But, did you remember Fluffy picking the lock with a spoon handle? The spoon handle was nowhere as sharp as our claws. So why don't we pick the lock now?"

"Okay, genius," said Luperusse dryly, still unconvinced that the plan would work. He stuck his claw in the lock, and turned it, as Skeithena had told him to. Much to his surprise, the door made a soft clicking noise and gave way.

Skeithena and her brother stepped out of their crates. "Nice to be in the fresh air again," Luperusse remarked. "Thanks, sister."

***

Jhudora opened one eye. She still felt quite tired from being knocked out. Nevertheless, she soon felt alert and awake again and watched the two NeoPet siblings talk.

"We better go back to Jhudora's Cloud, now," said Skeithena. "Fluffy's there, we should rescue her, and then just bring her back home."

"How are we supposed to rescue her?" asked Luperusse scathingly. "It was only luck that I threw the potion at Jhudora, you know!"

"I know that!" answered the yellow Skeith patiently. "We'll have to find SOME way to save Fluffy...no arguing, Luperusse!" she told her younger brother. "We better get there quick, before Jhudora wakes up!"

They walked off. Jhudora smiled, and used one of her wide range of Dark Faerie abilities - Shroud. This spell made her ninety-nine percent invisible to all creatures of good faith, in this case, Skeithena and Luperusse. After casting Shroud on herself, she followed the two silently.

She soon went a little ahead of them, then a little more ahead of them, then WAY ahead of them, for Faeries naturally travel faster than NeoPets. She soon arrived at her Cloud. She went in.

Her instructions to her waiting Baby Aisha slave were short and terse. "Attack the Skeith and the Lupe when they come in, Fluffy," she commanded.

Fifteen minutes later, Skeithena and Luperusse strode into the Cloud. They faced a hissing, spitting, growling Aisha. They knew that her long, sharp, white fangs were very dangerous, and that they were unarmed. They knew that just about nothing could save them now.
