The End of Danté and the Dark Faerie
"Mint!" Yells Blueberry. Blueberry and Heather run over
and look at Mint.
Mint gets up weakly. "How did he do that?" Mint asks.
"He has all the Dark Faerie's evil abilities. We all
have to go at them at the same time!" Blueberry says. "Mint. You stay
down. You are injured badly already. You stay there," Blueberry says.
"Light Faerie! Let's get 'em!"
"Right! Destruction Beam!" the Light Faerie yells. She
makes a circular beam of light with her wand. She then fires it at Devil.
He didn't even have a chance to defend himself. Devil was no more.
"I told you we'd get you back, Devil," Blueberry growls.
Mint tries to stand but the bleeding from her stomach in too bad. The
Nurse Faerie runs onto the Battle-Pitch and starts to heal Mint.
Danté runs out, angry at the destruction of his brother.
"I'll get you back for what you did to Devil!" he snarls. He runs and
grabs Blueberry. Blueberry struggles to get free from his grasp. Danté
then slams Blueberry to the ground with a loud thump. The Light Faerie
flies over and punches Danté in the jaw, causing him to fly backwards
towards the Dark Faerie.
"Are you OK?" asks the Light Faerie to Blueberry.
"I'm fine," Blueberry says bravely.
Blueberry gets up, her eyes blazing. "How dare you hurt
me!" Blueberry yells at Danté. She flies over to Danté and punches him
powerfully, like Heather had taught her to do. Danté gets winded and he
falls to the ground struggling to breathe. Blueberry keeps pummeling Danté
with all of her strength. She powers up some energy with the Wand of the
Light Faerie. The ball of energy gets bigger...and bigger...and bigger.
It is soon about a metre in diameter. Danté is looking at Blueberry terrified.
"You wouldn't dare throw that at me," Danté challenges.
"Wouldn't I?" Blueberry growls. She then throws it at
Danté. Pushing Danté backwards into the wall. The energy keeps pushing
Danté and the wall crumbles. When Danté's body is halfway through the
wall, the energy ball explodes leaving Danté's lifeless body, collapsed
on the ground.
Blueberry, the Light Faerie, and now the healed Mint,
looks towards the Dark Faerie. "We'll make you pay for all of the evil
you have disposed onto Neopia," they say. The Dark Faerie backs away.
"Do you really think I'll give up that easy?" The Dark
Faerie mocks. "You have forgotten about my third pet. The Monoceraptor!"
she screeches.
"WHAT?!?!" THAT CAN'T BE YOUR PET!" the Light Faerie
yells.
"I created it. Tyrannia is the easiest world to conquer.
Mono and I may have failed taking over Tyrannia. But Mono is still enough
to beat you!" The Dark Faerie Cackles. "Mono! Go! Teach these brats not
to mess with us!"
The Dark Faerie throws some grey-coloured dust into the
air and the Monoceraptor appears in a puff of grey smoke. It roars its
stinky breath at Mint.
"Jeez, ever heard of mouthwash or a toothbrush?" Mint
snickers. Blueberry laughs and the Monoceraptor blushes.
"Dark Faerie. Why did you create this pet? To prove something?"
the Light Faerie asks. "Because if this is your last battle weapon and
pet, you will lose," the Light Faerie warns.
"So what? OK, this is my last pet. I have no weapons
left. But he will win!" the Dark Faerie says confidently.
"No he won't. One touch of this weapon I have, and he
will faint...permanently," the Light Faerie says calmly. "Call your Monoceraptor
back or I will be forced to use the weapon and destroy it," the Light
Faerie commands. "You have until the Count of three," the Light Faerie
says slowly.
"How can you not see the beauty of our evil?" the Dark
Faerie says.
"One," says the Light Faerie, as she gets a box
out of her pocket.
"Evil will take over good!" the Dark Faerie yells.
"Two," says the Light Faerie, as cool as ice. She
opens the box and pulls out a ball of orange light.
"Don't use that weapon!" The Dark Faerie screams.
"Too late. Three," says the Light Faerie, as the
ball of light forms a dagger of orange light from the ball. It goes straight
at the Monoceraptor. The Monoceraptor howls as the dagger of light hits
him. The dagger pierces through the Monoceraptor's tough skin and goes
straight through its body. The Monoceraptor falls to the ground, defeated.
"No! This cannot be!" the Dark Faerie yells. She runs
over to her fallen monster. "You won. How did you destroy him? What was
that weapon?"
"White magic is always more powerful than black magic.
And as for the weapon, that was from the future. The Space Faerie gave
it to me. This will probably appear in Neopia within the next few months,
as NeoPets are allowed to battle against simulation characters that appear..."
"Oh. I will go to the Haunted Woods and change my ways.
I will practice White magic, as well as Dark magic. I will donate my Neopoints
to the Money Tree. Where NeoPets who really need it can have it,"
says the Dark Faerie. "Good-bye, Light Faerie. Good-bye pets," the
Dark Faerie says, as she vanishes in violet-coloured smoke.
"Well...I guess we won," says Mint.
"Yes. We all did a great job. Congratulations on that
move that defeated Danté, Blueberry," says the Light Faerie.
"Thanks..." says Blueberry.
"I will teleport you home. Let us hope we shall meet
again. Good-bye, friends!" says the Light Faerie, as she teleports Heather,
Mint, and Blueberry back home.
Epilogue
Now Devil and Danté have been destroyed, Mint and Blueberry became school
heroes. Apparently, Devil and Danté had been abusing the other NeoPets
in the school for months and had even attacked Miss April once. Miss April
gave both Mint and Blueberry medals for 'Bravery in Battle'. Their schoolmates
always thought of them as heroes from that day onwards. Devil and Danté
were not missed even a little bit. As for the Dark Faerie, no-one ever
saw her again. Miss April's Robo-Poogle is still in her cupboard, waiting
for the next time when it can be on duty once again.
Mint's Final Thought: "Never look back in life.
Always look forward. Remember - To the world, you may only be one person.
But to one person, you may be the world."
umbreon_of_the_moon's Final Thought: Mint and
Blueberry found great happiness with their owners, Heather and Amber.
The Dark Faerie's unkindness to her NeoPets made them the way they were.
It wasn't their fault. If they had been brought up better, they could
have become great NeoPets. Sadly, in their life, they weren't loved. If
you love your pets, they will love you back. Think about all of the sad,
dejected, abandoned NeoPets in the Neopian Pound. Give them a second chance
to prove to you and to themselves that they can be a success, and that
they won't turn out like Devil and Danté did in this story. Please go
and give an abandoned pet a second chance in life. Thank you.
