Shocking Shoyrus: A Guide

The Shoyru is a lovable pet who copes well with Lupes, Scorchios, and Pteris, along with other pets. The Shoyru’s favourite colour is silver and least favourite colour is bright yellow. This is why, when you create a Shoyru, it is more orange than yellow.

A Shoyru is a very healthy eater and grows fast. They love Lost Desert and organic foods. Most enjoy apples and omelettes, but some are very picky eaters and only prefer gourmet foods that may cost you some Neopoints.

Grooming is another matter. Most Shoyrus, even females, aren’t crazy about grooming. You must use very soft soap on their fabulous coat. Don’t bathe them too often or they will come down with Bubbles. If you bathe them very rarely, they will come down with a case of D’achoo, as many other pets would. Also, if you have a NeoHome, plant some Bluesticks in the garden, because Shoyrus prefer brushing their teeth with them, instead of toothbrushes.

In the Battledome, their favourite weapon is the Sword of Domar. The Sword has been sacred to all Shoyrus for generations. Shoyrus will not give up, no matter how powerful their opponent is. A good idea is to equip them with a Bag of Infinite Neggs and have abilities, as they will not give up until their hit points are gone.

Shoyrus prefer Lost Desert, Tyrannian, and normal PetPets above all others. They really like an Anibus, and they are referred to by Shoyrus, as “Shoyru’s Best Friend”. But never give a Shoyru a Horus, as they are scared of them.

In a way, Shoyrus are more closely related to Lupes more than they are to Scorchios. This is why Shoyrus and Lupes get along together very well.

Your Shoyru would love it if you would take her/him to Mystery Island, the Lost Desert, or Terror Mountain. If you get them a souvenir or some fruit, they will be very happy.

Some of the Shoyru’s favourite toys are Neonip critters, Bouncy Balls, and Plushies. They also love roller blading, skateboarding, and biking. Their favourite bike is a red mountain bike. They do not like green bikes. You should also get your Shoyru a rubber duck or a toy boat, so when they are about to get into the tub, they can put the toy in first to test for Jetsams.

Although many people do not know Shoyrus are nocturnal as well as diurnal, so they can see during the day and night. Also Shoyrus are mortally afraid of Swamp Ghouls, and you should try your best to protect your precious pet. Shoyrus also like to garden and tend to sick pets. One of the most famous Shoyrus was Shorus Nightingale. Shoyrus are born with the instinct to be able to heal other things. Shoyrus like rather small NeoHomes and do not like colossal mansions.
