Pyramids is the newest game in Neopia, and I think it
is one of the best ever! I’ll be interviewing my pets, because if I interview
other people’s pets they might say Pyramids
is bad. OK, enough blabbering, on to the article.
First I will interview Beulah66, who is a Poogle.
Me: So why do you like the game Pyramids?
Beulah: Is Pyramids that game that you are always playing?
Me: Yes!!!
Beulah: Ummm..... why are you moving your mouth and not
saying anything? OH! I get it! You are lip-synching! I like Pyramids because
is it fun, and you earn Meopoints? What are Meopoints? Oh, Neopoints!
Me: OK, Beulah, go.... play with a Usuki doll. Ahem.
On to Drover66. Hopefully he remembered his lines.
Drover: I like Pyramids because--
Me: NOT YET!!!
Me: OK, Drover, why do you like Pyramids?
Drover: I like Pyramids because it is not a Flash game,
so you can play it when you are on a slow computer and not bother me.
Then I can get some sleep.
Me:.....
Me: OK, next pet. Perimensoar, why do you like Pyramids?
Perimensoar: Um, do I say Beulah’s lines?
Me: Yes.
Perimensoar: OK, I like Pyramids because it is very easy
to earn Neopoints. You can be really bad at it and still earn Neopoints.
Look at my owner, she’s REALLY bad at it and she earns-
Me: You’ve proved your point. Now, we will ask our resident
expert, Hank66, for his tips on playing Pyramids. Hank?
Hank: Well, there are a few things you can do to improve
your game. First, you can adjust your screen. Most people have their computer
screen set on these little numbers here resolution...
Me: Fine I’ll say the rest. Most people have their screens
on 1024X786 pixels, so things are fairly small. You can adjust your screen,
Windows users anyway, by right clicking your desktop, clicking Properties,
then Settings, and there is a little bar. Change your screen to 800X600
pixels by dragging the little box on the bar to the left. Click OK By
adjusting your screen, you make stuff show up bigger and you can see the
cards better while you are playing Pyramids. You won’t accidentally click
something you didn’t mean to click, and you might actually win the game!
Hank: Which you have never done.
Me: Ahem... Well, have fun playing Pyramids, and have
fun watching your bank account grow!
Hank: I could come up with a better ending line then
that.
Me: OK, Hank, be quiet, these nice people want to read
the rest of the Neopian Times now!
