How Brucey B Got His Weird Coin!

It was a horrible day, and as usual, me and my pets were starved to death because I'm a hopeless Cheat! Addict and all my Neopoints are used up because I am terrible at hiding my evidence of cheating. The only valuable item I own is Wormtail142's Processional Bow.

So, like I said, it was a terrible day, and me and my pets were inside, watching "NeoDiscovery" on TV.

Then it hit me. "Where's Venus686?!" I gasped.

"She's round at DarkMaster173's house, as usual!" Drumstick673 told me.

DarkMaster173's NeoPet, JellyBean31612, was dating Venus, and Venus spent nearly all day round at DarkMaster173's NeoHome.

"Well, come on!" I said, "Let's go and get her!"

Just as we got our coats on, Venus came in, Venus was a Yellow, female Kacheek, and always wore her Pink Lipstick.

"Guess....What....!" Venus panted, "We're........ all going with...... DarkMaster173 on vacation to Mystery Island!!"

My jaw dropped, and I almost stood on Dil, Wormtail142's PetPet.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

"One-Hundred-Percent!" Venus replied.

"When do we go?" I asked

"Tomorrow," Venus replied.

Everyone, for the rest of the day, spoke of nothing apart from Mystery Island, Benny, my smartest NeoPet, spent all day in his room, studying maps of the Island. Drumstick packed ALL his Codestones to go and train in the school. Wormtail spent all day searching for his SunShades. And Venus looked out all her best jewelry, (She'd never told the rest of us, but this was supposed to be a special date for her and JellyBean.) lipstick, and hairbands. I, however, was in a panic, trying to get a hold of spare Neopoints, food and clothes for the vacation.

No-One slept that night, including me. We were all too excited, my pets and I live in Faerieland, and the closest to traveling abroad was going to see the Cheat Championships on the NeoPets Space Station.

The next morning (Thankfully!) was OK and we all got on the plane to go to Mystery Island. Jellybean and Venus sat at the back, and tried on a few occasions to kiss, but the Usul flight attendant always caught them.

We all arrived safely, and got to our Hotel and booked in. And like on the flight, Jellybean and Venus got a separate room from us. We all unpacked got ready to go out for a bit of shopping.(Drumstick, Venus and Jellybean weren't coming, they all had "Important Business" to attend to around the island!)

We all were having lots of fun. We went on Tiki Tack Tours, had a go at Tombola, and went out on a boat for an hour or so. We were just about to go back to our Hotel, when Wormtail saw a Golden Coin on the ground.

"Cooool!!" he said.

"What is?" Aurura, one of DarkMaster173's NeoPets asked.

"This!" Wormtail said, pointing at the coin he had found.

"Oooooooohhh!!" everyone apart from me and DarkMaster173 cried.

"I......think I'll take that!" I said, snatching the coin from Wormtail's hand.

"Booo!!" All the pets jeered.

"Well, I think DarkShadow was very smart, doing that," DarkMaster said, as more jeering followed.

We all traveled silently back to our hotel, No-one said a word.

The next day, we got up early, we were going to go to the marketplace there, to set up shop during the vacation.

After we'd set up shop, I gave all my NeoPets 100 NP, and told them to be back before sundown. DarkMaster did the same.

Then, we put up stall, and tried our best to make Neopoints. Then came a familiar face.... BRUCEY B!!!!

"Wow! is that you DarkShadow?" Brucey questioned.

"Well, yeah!" I replied.

DarkMaster was taking this all in, and completely forgot about the little coconut guy he was supposed to be serving.

"Hey!" Brucey exclaimed, "What's that around your neck?"

I forgot to tell you. I'd put some string through a hole on top of the coin and wore it round my neck, so none of the pets could take it.

"It's....just some old coin I found," I told him

"Well," Brucey B said, stroking his chin, "I'll give you 10,000 NP for it, and I'll throw in a SIGNED Brucey B battlecard- deal?"

"Yeah, I guess...." My voice trailed off, as I noticed the little coconut guy hit DarkMaster173 over the head with his stick to get his attention.

"Take it," Brucey said, "Or leave it, and make it snappy, I've gotta catch my flight to the 3rd annual Cheat Tournament in one hour!"

"OK, here!" I told him, as he handed me the card and Neopoints.

And that's how Brucey B hot his coin, and this story ends where Brucey B and the Lucky Coin begins....
