10 Ways to Enjoy Petpet Appreciation Day

     1. Talk to them!

     Yes! How many times a day do you talk to your little friend? Sometimes they can feel a bit lonely, so don't forget to always talk to them for a few minutes a day, I'm sure they'll appreciate your company and your wise words; after all, we always have something good to teach our little friends, and especially in a day to appreciate them, they’ll love to listen what you have to say.

     2. Give them a Petpetpet!

     One way your little friend won't be so lonely, at least when you're not online, how about giving them another little friend like a Petpet to keep them company? Petpetpets are excellent companions for Petpets and your little friends are sure to be delighted with this super gift. There are Petpetpets for everyone and at different prices. A Pinchit would go very well with your Maraquan Petpet, for example. But if your Petpet is of the Spooky type, perhaps an Aboogala or Vernax would be a better choice… And for Faerie Petpets, a Strale or Ditrey might be the perfect match. For Petpets straight out of Virtupets or Kreludor, a Snailien, Greevix or Wormoeba seem like very suitable options. I’m sure they’ll love it!

     3. Use a Petpet Avatar!

     There are many Petpet avatars available to use on the forums, and one of the best ways to show your love and gratitude for your little Petpet is by using one of these avatars on the forums. There are avatars for all tastes and audiences: Kadoatie, for those who like to feed those hungry kittens. Meepit, for those who love these little teethers, and for those, we have two options: one from the Meepit x Feepit game and one from the Meepit Juice Break game. Snicklebeast, Harris and Huggy are other examples of Petpet avatars that are very easy to get, all you have to do is have these Petpets attached to your pets for a certain amount of time and then visit their Pet Lookup page. The avatars of Anubis, Snuffly, Cyodrake, Spardel and Niptor are also options you can use, they're very cute and much easier to get, as you don't need to have any of these Petpets, just visit the Pet Lookup of any other pet that has one of them attached.

     I guarantee that your Petpet will be very happy to be represented on the forums with one of these beautiful options!

     4. Buy them presents!

     As well as Petpetpets, your Petpet will also like to receive other gifts such as a soft bed or a bowl to drink water. In the Petpet supplies shop, you'll find a range of gifts to buy your Petpet, such as: Disco Petpet Bowl, Ettaphant Petpet Bed or Hot Dog Petpet House. There are also various toys for them to occupy their free time during the day, such as: Indestructible Petpet Ball, Lady Blurg Chew Toy and Pink Petpet Flying Disc. These are just a few more options to make your Petpet's day happier and more fun.

     5. Customise!

     Another way to show your love for Petpets is to use your creativity when customising your pet. There are countless Petpet wearables that you can use to customise your pet, ranging from a Petpet companion, backgrounds and even a Barbat costume, for example. The options are practically endless, with Neopoint items such as Service Petpet Doglefox, Petpet Office Background, Mutant Petpet Foreground and Fancy Petpet Tights. There are also Neocash options: Branch of Singing Weewoos Garland, Bouncing Warf Trinket, Petpets in Stockings Garland and Christmas Ona Handheld Plushie.

     6. Paint your Petpet!

     Every year, new Petpet colors are announced at various times; certainly on Petpet Appreciation Day, we'll have several new colours for some Petpets, but you don't have to wait until TNT makes an announcement, because there are already several Petpet colours available to be obtained at any time. If you're a fan of Candychan, for example, how about taking a look at the colours you can paint yours? There's Grey, Darigan, Maraquan... Or if you're a Kazeriu fan, have you taken a look at the options? Faerie, Fire, Maractite... If you own a Zebie, there's Royal, Snow, Glowing and even Plushie. In fact, there are lots of colours, lots of options and lots of Petpets waiting for their moment to pay the Petpet Puddle a visit.

     7. Play with your Petpet!

     One way to play with your Petpet is through the Petpet games that are available in the Games Room. There are lots of options for various games starring our little friends. A very popular game that everyone loves is Petpetsitter, where you have to look after various Petpets who are hungry, sleepy, want to play or need to go to the toilet. As well as being a very entertaining game, where various Petpets appear such as Noil, Gruslen, Babaa, GX-4 Oscillabot and Feepit, it's also possible to win an avatar when you score 2,500 points or more. Another game with Petpets is Extreme Herder, where you control a Kacheek Shepherd whose mission is to rescue and protect the Petpets that are loose before the evil Balthazar devours them. This game can also give you a beautiful avatar if you score 250+ points. And rescuing Petpets seems to be a very common type of game, as there's also Petpet Rescue, where you control a Scorchio who has to rescue Petpets that have been trapped by an evil Grarrl. This is another game that also has an avatar and you can earn it if you score 250+ points. But if you want a game solely starring a Petpet, there's Whirlpool, Maths Nightmare, Let it Slide, Snowroller, Kookia and much more.

     8. Battle with your Petpet!

     Another activity that your Petpet might like to do is Battle with other Petpets, only as a leisure activity, of course, as the Petpet Protection League would never allow any activity that could put any Petpet at risk. But in Petpet Battle, you'll be able to control your Petpet's blows, as well as defend them against an opponent who may be the same level as your Petpet or even a little higher. But with Head Shot and Body Blew, your Petpet can win and thus increase its level. There are 39 opponents in total, each with their own Petpet to battle. Each victory will give you points to increase your Petpet's level so you can move on to the next opponent. You also have the chance to win a beautiful trophy for your lookup.

     9. Visit Symol's Hole and Wake up the Turmaculus

     These two activities are located in Meridell and with just one visit to this world, you can have a lot of fun with your little friend. At Symol's Hole, your Petpet will go on a fun adventure and, as a bonus, they could win a rare prize, or even an avatar if you're lucky. But be very careful when waking up Turmaculus, although it is an exciting attraction in Meridell and you can also win fun prizes, Turmaculus can wake up very hungry and end up devouring your Petpet. But it's still a fun adventure to do with your little buddy.

     10. Read Petpets books!

     Another way to show your affection for Petpets is by reading and learning more about them. With the countless books available in Neopia, there are several that tell stories about Petpets or their nature. Choose a few and read them to your Pet. I guarantee they'll love it and your Petpet will feel very represented. There are books such as The Baby Blue Snorkle, Walein Care 101, Harris Tales, Guide to Wild Petpets, Repairing Your Petpets and The Great Slugawoo Mystery, among many others.
