5 Places to Take a Neo-Vacation by califorthehomeless
--------
Happy Summer Neopia! After the busy season of the Altador Cup I am sure you are just dying to go on your annual Summer Neo-Vacation! This year I have compiled a list of great spots for you and your pets to consider going on a getaway to! We are a new company taking Neopia by storm! The Neopian Tour Company can help you plan your vacation to every corner of Neopia. From the depths of Maraqua or to a cave in Geraptiku! We have it handled with all your transportation, stays, and excursions! Neopia is home to many different lands. While it is the busy time for some spots, it is the downtime for others! It also might be 100 degrees and sunny in some parts or a cold, chilly winter day in others. With so many vast lands in Neopia, we figured The Neopian Tour Company could put out a fantastic list to help future travellers decide where they want to holiday! 1. Mystery Island The number one vacation spot in all of Neopia! This place is HOT year-round, but especially in the Summer. Be sure to grab your sunscreen to really protect yourself from this heat! This island has plenty of friendly locals to show you around. Situated in the middle of the island Techo Mountain. It has been dormant for many years, but that doesn’t mean it might not erupt someday. But don’t let that stop you! There are plenty of fun things to do! For only 25 Neopoints you can go on a Tiki Tour. This tour gives you a locals’ view of Mystery Island and is a great way to boost your mood and make new friends! Another fun activity is playing Tombola. The game is like a raffle and you have the chance to win several rare (or gross) prizes. There are a few times a day this isn’t available, but if you’re patient the Tiki Tack Man will draw a ticket for you. 2. Kiko Lake Once a small community of Kikos, now it’s a popular tourist destination all year round! Summer is most popular, as the lake is one of the main selling points of Kiko Lake. This destination is not far from Neopian Central, which makes it an easy weekend getaway or a short trip if you’ve got Baby Neopets! The most popular tourist attraction is the glass-bottom Kiko Lake tour. The lake has several beautiful boats with glass bottoms so those who aren’t good swimmers are allowed to see the homes and wildlife in Kiko Lake. A fun fact is that Kiko Lake is home to Neopia’s biggest source of Borovan! You can grab a sugary treat at Kiko Lake Treats! There are several yummy toffees and taffys that you can only get at Kiko Lake 3. Terror Mountain Now I know you are rolling your eyes because you prefer the mountain in ski season, but this is the best time to visit! The snow is still beautiful, but it’s less populated for the whole family to enjoy. Happy Valley is the best place to visit. It’s family-friendly and less likely on avalanche alert in the Summer months. Fun things to do include Snowball Fight! This game is great for neo-families of all ages, young and old! If you are really good you might earn a trophy to brag about to your friends back home. Sadly the Advent Calendar is closed every other month except December, but you can always say hello to the Aisha that runs in! You can also practice your ice skating abilities while you are waiting for the next Annual Happy Valley Skate Competition. If you are a thrill seeker Terror Mountain is an excellent place for you. In the ice caves lies a massive ice worm! The Snowager sleeps a few times a day on top of a giant pile of treasure! Be quick and try to steal some or get blasted. 4. Shenkuu This land is not as popular to travel to due to the treacherous mountains that surround it, but once up in the city, it is quite a view! This treasure is hidden in the mountains north of Altador. If you are a big astrology buff, this is your place! The Lunar Temple is open for Neopians to visit and analyze the position of the Kreludor and guess the phase. If you are able to guess the correct phase of the moon you are rewarded with a prize. Another great activity in Shenkuu is river boarding! The Shenkuu River is pretty quick, so if you’re athletic this is a great activity. The waterfalls on the river make for some great waves to catch, so it’s almost like you’re on the beach! 5. Kreludor Looking for a vacation that is out of this world? Visit Kreludor! This moon isn’t a super popular tourist destination as it isn’t super easy to get there, but it provides a cool vacation spot. There is a colony of Grundos that live here, but they’re friendly to tourists! Fun things to do are visit the Neocola Machine. It’s a great idea to start saving up with tokens to do a little gambling. Blue, green, and red tokens all will get you a prize! There are several fun and freaky prizes to be won along with being rewarded with Neopoints. Another excursion is going to visit a meteor crash site! Kreludor often is hit by meteors. Because the meteor has scraped the surface it is very hot! Be careful not to touch any lava. If you’re lucky, the meteor might even grace you with a prize. 6. Jelly World Oh wow, we aren’t really sure how this 6th location got on our news article? Jelly World doesn’t exist so it’s not a great idea to try and plan a vacation to a place that isn’t even real! So there it is Neopia! These are our favourite spots to travel to in the Summer months. We would happily set you up on one of our many tours. Feel free to reach out to us and have a happy Summer!
