The Muffin Guide

The muffin, a marvelous creation, I mean, who does not love muffins? They come in many different flavors, I mean Strawberry, Banana, Cinnamon, and my personal favorite, Blueberry. On Neopets, muffins are even more special than they are in the real world because you can eat them AND battle with them. Let me take you through a marvelous guide to tell you more about Neopia's greatest food: the muffin.

Some of the MANY Muffins:

First off is the Choco-Strawberry Muffin. This muffin is a mix of strawberries and chocolate, perfect if you like strawberry shortcake, but wish there was some chocolate in it. With a strawberry flavored crust it is a perfect dessert in the shape of a muffin.

Next off is the Jelly Muffin. This muffin is a two in one; it is also a play toy. I have known pets that for hours just wiggle and jiggle their Jelly Muffin. It has the delightful taste of jelly, perfect for a jelly pet that is a muffin lover but only eats jelly. Make sure you wash your hands when you are done eating, as it can turn into a sticky mess.

Our next muffin is the Battle Muffin!! It looks like a normal corn muffin, but is it? Noooo!! This muffin is an attack muffin that you can use in the Battledome. It looks like you would eat it, but your opponent in the Battledome will get a surprise when they lose the battle to a muffin. Muffin Power forever!!

Another great muffin is the White Chocolate Muffin. This muffin has white chocolate frosting, vanilla crust, and a piece of delicious white chocolate piece on top. This is a great treat and goes well with any flavor of ice cream.

Then there are always the Bruce and JubJub shaped muffins. Available in a variety of flavors, these are just perfect for a Bruce or JubJub's birthday. Since there are so many flavors that you can pick your favorite flavor and enjoy the muffin even more!

Next is the Icey Muffin. Just perfect for a hot summer day, you can sit outside or inside and just suck on this flavorless muffin. Be careful not to lick with your tongue first, it will get stuck. Also, do not bite on this muffin; you might need a visit from the Tooth Faerie.

Speaking of the Tooth Faerie, there is a Tooth Faerie Muffin! My pet has gotten one from the dentist for being so good. It actually helps whiten your teeth, and does not give cavities! It is also very soft in case you have any loose teeth that you do not want to come out while you are eating food.

Next up we have one of the sneakiest muffins of all: the Invisible Muffin. If your pets are to full to eat their vegetables, but have not eaten anything else, the chances are they are eating these, so if you are cleaning up and you feel crumbs but don't see any, you better assume that somebody in your house is eating Invisible Muffins.

These two muffins are great if you are looking for a healthy snack that is also very tasty. They are the Kiwi and Grapefruit Muffins. The Kiwi Muffin has the zing of a real kiwi, without the mess of juice. The Grapefruit Muffin has chunks of real grapefruit, and then for dessert you can have the candied piece of grapefruit that is sticking out of the top.

Our next muffin is from the Lost Desert; it is called the Sutek Muffin. This is a very special muffin with a special ingredient: sand! Since I have the recipe, and it is very easy, I will give it to you. I got it from the nice Grarrl in the Food Stall himself.

The materials you will need are: a bowl, a stirring spoon, 2 cups of sand, an oven (Fire Faerie Oven will give you fastest results) a clean stick, 3 cups of blueberries, flour, and water.

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees, or if you have a Fire Faerie Oven, just do 250 degrees.

2. Get out your bowl.

3. Put in flour, water, and a little sand.

4. Mix until smooth.

5. Pour in almost all of the blueberries, then add the rest of the sand.

6. Mix until smooth; if it is not thick enough to mold with your hands, add more flour.

7. Wash your hands so they are clean.

8. Mold the muffins into whatever shape you like.

9. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or if you have the Fire Faerie Oven, bake for 5 minutes.

10. While they are baking, mash the leftover blueberries until smooth.

11. When the muffins are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes.

12. When the muffins are done cooling, dip your stick in the mashed blueberries and draw a sutek on the side of all the muffins, or just draw anything you want!

13. Enjoy!
