Festive Ways to Use Pumpkins This Halloween

The festive month of October, when Autumn has truly arrived, also brings the arrival of pumpkins. During the month of October, the leaves have changed into their magnificent shades of rust, bronze, and gold. The Autumn leaves start to float down from the tree, creating wonderful crunches underneath out feet. The air has turned cool, which sends everyone back inside to bundle up in their favorite mittens and scarves. The town has also changed with arrivals of cobwebs, witches' brooms, ghosts, and other spooky Halloween decorations. The smells of cinnamon and other spices drift through the air as the local bakeries start to create their seasonal baked goods. During this month we all enjoy curling up in front of a roaring fireplace with a hot mug of coffee or hot chocolate. And of course, during October we start to see the cheerful bright orange pumpkins everywhere. Whether they are used in shops as window decorations, carved as eerie jack-o-lanterns to light the dark night, or simply just growing in the fields, we all know that with the arrival of pumpkins means Halloween is just around the corner.

With Halloween almost here, and because pumpkins are such a wonderful part of Halloween, and can be used in so many unique ways, I wrote this article to show some of the festive ways pumpkins are used!

Drinks & Food

Candy Pumpkin Latte

This scrumptious looking latte is sure to please anyone! This latte is made from the finest medium roast coffee on the market, then blended with some fresh pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of vanilla. This latte is then topped off with some fresh whipped cream and some mini candy pumpkins for decoration! This yummy drink is even served in a festive orange mug to match the season.
