Sip, Sip, Hooray! Let’s Get the Garden Party Started by jackie247
--------
The long, cold days are finally coming to a close! Dragonfly Nymphs are beginning to buzz around, the air smells sweeter, and Neopians everywhere seem to have a spring in their step. Spring can only mean one thing - winter is outta here! You can put down the peppermint, cast aside the borovan, and say goodbye to the chai. I have some lovely drink suggestions for the this season that will get you ready to come out of hibernation. The winter months are long, dark and never-ending. We’re ready for cheerful Cherry Blossoms and budding Blue Fan Flowers. So, put away the mittens and scarves, and break out the rain boots and umbrellas! There’s nothing better than stepping out into the sunshine (or sun showers!) with something delicious to sip on while you stroll through the park! Here is a list of my favourite Neopian drinks to enjoy in the springtime: 1). Banango Bubble Tea - Gadgadsbogen is here! We cannot get enough of the Banango Bubble tea! This is a favourite straight from Mystery Island (if you couldn’t tell). Fruity and smooth, complete with the signature tapioca pearls, this gorgeous beverage is a joy to drink. 2). Pomegranate Iced Tea - Super refreshing! Made with real pomegranates, this iced tea is a springtime classic around Neopia. Sure, we could have a regular Lemon Iced Tea, but the pomegranate element elevates this drink to another level. 3). Rose-Flavoured Coffee - Stop to smell (and sip) the roses this season. Who wouldn’t love a drink crafted with the most delicate rose petals around? The roses are plucked straight from the Neopian Garden Centre. Bring this to your afternoon picnic in the park! 4). Spring Flower Tea - The proof is in the name. Step into spring with the Spring Flower Tea! Rumour has it that some pets feel like they came down with a case of Sneezles after drinking it. Not to worry though - it’s just the aromatics and variety of flowers that will do it! No need for a Magic a Cookie after drinking this tea. The sneezes should pass shortly after. 5). Uni Frappe - A colorful, blended delight! This beverage tastes like pure magic. The pink, purple, and blue swirls come together to make the prettiest springy drink ever. Finishing the whole thing will give you an energy boost from all of the sugar, but that’s what makes this drink so very sweet. 6). Rainy Day Coffee - When you think of spring, you usually think of sunshine, but we know with the sunshine also comes a ton of rain! This Rainy Day Coffee is perfect for the dreary days where you want to stay indoors. It is presented with the cutest latte art in the shape of an umbrella on top. This coffee will keep you cosy as those springtime storms pass you by. 7). Rainbow Bubble Tea - Our second bubble tea on the list! Rainbows are abundant in the sky this season, so it’s only appropriate that we celebrate with a Rainbow Bubble Tea. The rainbow pearls at the bottom make this drink so pretty - just like the real thing! 8). Pink Negg Tea - Longtime Neopians know that spring = Festival of Neggs! Easily the best part of springtime, where we consult with Kari, receive riddles, go and hunt for Neggs and earn prizes! This Pink Negg Tea will pay homage to this fantastic annual festival. The pretty pastel pink colour is an added bonus. It’s hard to describe the flavour of a negg if you haven’t tried it, which is why I highly encourage you to taste this tea. 9). Lavender Mint Tea - As you know, we put away the cinnamon and gingerbread flavoured drinks for now. Moving on to all things fresh, fruity, and floral. The Lavender Mint Tea fits right in with your spring vibe. It is super refreshing and light. The hint of mint is so subtle but just enough to taste it. Christmas time is all about the peppermint, but springtime will be all about the Lavender Mint. This tea is very elegant and classy. 10). Dandelion Tea - I feel like a dandelion is a very underrated weed. Even calling it a weed feels wrong, when it has the brightest yellow blooms on top, akin to that of a beautiful flower. Some Neopians don’t know that a dandelion is actually edible. The Dandelion Tea will show you just how useful this weed can really be! It has a hint of bitterness that my pets absolutely adore - yours will too! 11). Clover Cream Coffee - This coffee is brewed with the finest clovers that Meri Acres Farm has to offer. You can even harvest your own clovers at the Pick Your Own game (available only on March 17 of course). Try it hot or iced! 12). Iced Illusen Tea - If you plan to take a trip to Meridell, you must bring with you a cold glass of Iced Illusen Tea. Kiss some Mortogs, roll some cheese, and watch a Turdle race, all while you gulp down this refreshing beverage. 14). Meridellian Blend Coffee - It’s okay if you didn’t root for Meridell in last year’s Altador Cup (we won’t tell). You can still enjoy the Meridellian Blend Coffee guilt free. Since you’ll most likely be strolling around the lush green pastures of Meridell this season, this a drink you’d surely enjoy to go along with your journey. 15). Sweet Tea - Because nothing is as sweet as springtime - except maybe this satisfying Sweet Tea. This completes my list of the essential spring drinks you need to sample this season! These thirst-quenchers go great with all of your favourite spring activities! Whether you want to spend your time Negg hunting, puddle splashing, rainbow viewing, cheese rolling, flower sniffing, or bouquet building - there is sure to be a drink to match your style! Remember to try to avoid getting stung by any Springabees as you frolic through the flowers, and hopefully you and your pet won’t sneeze too much! If a spring storm approaches, just know that it will soon pass over and brighter days are ahead. I hope you enjoy everything this season has to offer. Please be on the lookout for my upcoming list of summer drink essentials in just a few short months!
