Conrad took a look at his surroundings. The inside of the small house seemed to be filled with… candy?! The ground was littered with Chocolate Cybunny Paws and Fire Mote Lollypops and Jhudora Thorn Pops as far as the eye could see. There were so many candies on the ground that Conrad couldn’t even see the floorboards underneath. Then, the candies on the ground suddenly started melting. The ground became covered in a grotesque bubbling sludge of melted chocolate and molten sugar.

An Updated Guide To Creative Spotlights, Y22 Edition
There have been many guides written about the Neopian Creative Spotlights, but none have been written in Y22! And as time goes on, things about the contests change. I’m here to give you a rundown of the 4 main spotlights: Art Gallery, Poetry Gallery, Storytelling Competition, and of course, the Neopian Times itself. In this guide, I’ll talk about what each spotlight is, the schedule, submission timing, themed days, and pro tips for each one. What do you do when you have fallen out of place or lose your way? Being new at something or being in a position where life's circumstances are out of one's control can be overwhelming and scary, but that does not foreshadow the future as ominous. Here is a story of an orphan Neopet who had to work hard to not only prove herself to her peers, while battling internally to figure herself out, but to also learn how important self-compassion is. This story’s purpose is to bring strength and to inspire everyone to be their true self without fear of judgement.

“Two Milk Chocolate Lupes and a Strawberry Fondant Surprise, please,” said Conrad, putting the merchandise on the counter of the shop.
The old Kiko running the Chocolate Factory smiled warmly at the young Lupe as he put the candy in a bag. “Coming right up! That’ll be 3,783 Neopoints.”
Conrad put the money on the counter and reached out to take the bag. “Hey, Mr. Shopkeeper, there’s an Organic Broccoli in here! I didn’t buy that!” He looked at the shopkeeper in confusion.
“It’s on the house,” the shopkeeper chuckled. “I can’t have my best customer getting sick from eating nothing but candy, can I? If you eat too much candy, it’ll give you nightmares. Eat your vegetables. They’re good for you.”
“Yuck!” Conrad exclaimed. “I hate Health Food! I don’t want this.”

"How to Study with Friends" by liouchan
I ought to begin by saying that Cora had not always been a star, but, in truth, she had always been a star in my eyes.
It hit me one day when we were out in Brightvale. On our way to Brightvale Books, I had stopped by the Scrollery to admire the display in its front window, when I noticed that Cora's reflection was not next to mine.
Spinning on the spot, I found her on the other side of the road, where a dirt path trailed off into the countryside. She was perched atop a fence post, as if about to leap into the sky. The star-specked blue and warm red of her fur shone brightly against all the greenery. Her eyes were fixed on a point in the distance. I stared in the same direction, wondering what had her so transfixed. Those clouds that shimmered faintly on the horizon, perhaps?
