Hi there! I really appreciate that there's an updated FAQ for the NT now, but I noticed that it advises users to put HTML formatting in angle brackets instead of square brackets, and I wanted to double check whether that was the correct procedure since it runs contrary to previous instruction. Does this mean the submission process has been updated (and thumbnail uploading has been fixed as well, since there was no mention of that either?) Thanks for your work! Hello! Since the Neopian Times has been around for quite some time, we wanted to make an updated and simplified guide! The goal of the NT FAQ is to help existing users (and those who may be new or returning to the site) gain a better understanding of how we currently edit, format and publish the Neopian Times. Many a square bracket has been replaced in the editing process! While everything else remains the same right now, we hope to continue to bring updates to the Neopian Times! Happy writing! ~~ Adler

We’re so happy to hear you’ve been enjoying the plot so far! With everything happening in Neopia right now, the Altador Cup was pushed to give organizers more time, but I’ve heard ramblings of it starting sometime in July though…! Hope this helps! ~~ Sunpotato

I hope so! *offers Warf and Kadoatie snuggles* As a returning user who hasn't submitted to the Creative Contests in a long time, I just wanted to say thank you for updating the NT FAQ! It was a great refresher and much clearer than the old one. Are there plans to do the same for the other contests? The Storytelling one in particular is dense and outdated, and the BC FAQ link appears to be broken. I'd love to enter more of the contests, but hesitate until I'm 100% familiar with the rules again! WHADDUP, TNT! I found it very funny that June 11th's Daily Puzzle about the Bookshop Nimmo cannot be answered just by checking the shop. We can't see how many books he's sitting on! That's visible in the old shopkeeper image. Is this a very old puzzle? They appear sometimes, clearly outdated. Do you plan on updating them, and are they chosen by hand? ~ amethyst43217
Hi, we try to not use old images for questions but sometimes it could happen. All entries are written by hand and then are input for the contest, thanks for pointing this out. We will try to be more careful with anything that could be an older image in the future. ~~ kikocat

Hi TNT! I've been living in perpetual fear of the curse that has swept over Neopia, and had a random question about it. We've only seen it affect pets with simpler colors like Blue & Yellow. If a Faerie or Plushie Neopet got afflicted by the curse, would they canonically revert to the standard Grey color, or would they become something more like Grey-Faerie or Grey-Plushie? ~ yankeesrule244444456
The doom and gloom is certainly fear-inducing! We worry for our monotone coloured friends that have lost their hue so far… That brings up a very interesting question, though! This grey wave seems to be just affecting their moods and body colour… so, perhaps a Faerie Neopets would simply get droopy wings, like poor Kari did! Hello TNT! You often post reminders on the News page when NC Mall items are about to retire, events are about to end or other "last chance!" kind of reminders, and that's great! I really appreciate that! But more often than not when you post one of these reminders, the item/event/whatever retires that same night, a few hours after the news is posted. But the news often comes out after midnight for us EU players. So, by the time we get to read the news, it is already too late. Would you please consider posting these kinds of reminders a day earlier? Thank you ♥ ~ xantaquana

Hey TNT! I LOVE the Kau Nose Ring that was recently released. I had fingers and toes crossed that Kau Day would bring us one! One suggestion though: it's currently zoned as glasses, which I feel is a pretty big detriment to any item that doesn't actually occupy a Neopet's eyes. Would it be possible to move it to something like static or earrings? Maybe markings? I know my kau Blurgah would appreciate being able to wear her contacts again! ~ stormyoutlook

I don't have a question I just really want to say that I absolutely love the slow roll out of the plot, including the teasers we've had since last year. It's been so exciting AND so accessible. I also ADORE that the points are shown immediately, the transparency in the outcomes of our actions is something that was missing in previous plots and is so wonderful.
