Gelertnapped (Dinner at the Gelerthive Manor Sequel) by jirachi_iralicha_
--------
Today was another peaceful and quiet day at the manor, the sun was beautiful and the clouds were gently floating throughout the sky. It was wonderful. Sebastian, though, was dealing with trying to catch a Tigermousey. The servants had tried their bests to get it, but they ruined everything in the manor trying to, so it was up to Sebastian to catch the Petpet. Sebastian waited patiently for the Tigermousey to run out from the mousehole in the wall then leapt like a Meowclops to grab it, no one could ever catch a Tigermousey that easily, no one except Sebastian, for you see, he wasn't a normal Neopet. The servants, Lavitti, Lug and Marador were amazed by his quick, fluid movements and clapped for him. Sebastian stared at the Tigermousey in his paw and threw it into the net that Old Man Jeeves was holding. "There. Problem solved." Sebastian took off his gloves and tossed them to the side and went off to get some new ones, the servants' following him, praising him left and right. Ciel was in his office, doing paperwork, as usual, as it was his job to file paperwork for his candy factory. Ciel had already had breakfast, got dressed and even read all of the neomail he had gotten in the Neopost. Sebastian put on a brand-new pair of white gloves, then glanced at the servants. "Will you please try and figure out how to cover up that mousehole for me? Thank you." Sebastian said to the three. "Okay sir!" Marador saluted, "Okie-dokie, Mister Sebastian!" Lavitti did as well. Old Man Jeeves did a small laugh and saluted as well as Lug did with his reply. Sebastian headed off to the kitchen and decided he was going to cook something nice for the young master, as he had promised the night before that he'd make a sweet for Ciel. He decided he was going to make a sweet, apple pie for him. Sebastian hummed as he did so. Little did Sebastian, the servants or even Ciel know, today's peaceful day would be terribly interrupted. Ciel had finished most of the papers signing the last one off then placing them on the right like the others. While running a candy factory has its good parts, dealing with the others was...boring, to say the least. He started to look around his room, making sure no one was looking behind the door, and pulled out a small box, chuckling a bit. It was labelled "Secret Candy Stash" in gold ink. The window was open in the office to let fresh air in from the out-of-doors. A Draik with a suit and striped tie watched from a bush, hidden, alongside his coworker, who was a Skeith. "There he is, that Earl kiddo." The Draik whispered lowly, "Az Rio said that we needed to bring him to the hideout, but why?" The Draik added. The Skeith shrugged, "He's an earl, I mean, he's got a lot of Neopoints." The Skeith suggested, The Draik murmured to himself and slowly eased himself out of the bush, being quiet so no one could hear him. The Draik silently flapped his wings up to the window and hid behind the curtain, just to be safe, and watched the baby Gelert, who was eating candy. The Draik sighed, thinking to himself. "This is really the guy we have to catch?" He thought. The Draik beckoned the Skeith over and the Skeith sneakily wobbled over. The Skeith handed him a Sleep Ray, which was usually only used in Battledome fights. Which was a sport that wasn't really done much around Neovia. He waited until a good moment where Ciel was standing still and he slowly entered through the window. Then with no warning whatsoever, a zap came from the Sleep Ray, surprising Ciel, now it would be only a handful of seconds before he'd fall asleep. Sebastian did not know of this yet, because he was in the kitchen, preparing the pie he had promised. Ciel was surprised as to what just happened, but he didn't have enough time to think as he immediately fell asleep. Meanwhile, Lug was showing some of the servants how he makes a lemon meringue pie. "Welp, now after the meringue is done, I usually slice the pie for the lord to enjoy. Soon, he grabbed a chainsaw and started going in, leaving a huge mess around the room. Sebastian glared from the other side of the kitchen, he turned around to see what Lug was doing and then his face was covered with lemon meringue. He licked the lemon meringue off his face, and his red eyes glowed brightly, but faded back to a normal red colour. "Lug! You don't use a chainsaw to slice pies!" Sebastian snapped. Sebastian sighed, luckily he knew not to use chainsaws to slice pies and he had a nice, freshly-baked apple pie with him now. Sebastian ignored the servants, even though he had told them to figure out a way to cover the mousehole rather than make pies, and began to bring over the apple pie to the office. By the time Sebastian arrived, the Draik and Skeith had taken Ciel. Sebastian opened the door and noticed that Ciel was missing, Sebastian raised his ears and nodded, then saw the paperwork all over the floor, the muddy footprints of a Draik and the window wide-open. Sebastian glared, "My, My, it's been a while since something like this has happened." Sebastian said to himself. He headed out of the office, headed to the kitchen and put the pie on the counter, "Lug, Lavitti, Marador, please clean this if you would." He said, referring to the pie, but unfortunately, none of the servants understood the instructions, were they to throw away the pie? Eat the pie? Leave it there? Wash the dishes and leave the pie? Sebastian ran off, taking all the silverware except for one fork and ran off, heading the direction that the Draik and Skeith went, which was easy to tell as the Skeith and Draik's footprints and tails had left prints in the muddy grounds. Lavitti stared at the pie, "W-Wait. What did Mister Sebastian mean by clean it? Do we give it a bath?" Lavitti asked. "Maybe we're supposed to throw it away! Or maybe just clean the dish off and leave the pie?" Marador suggested. Lavitti and Marador looked at Lug to see what he thought about it. Lug thought for a moment then he had an idea. "Why don't we clean up the lemon pie first then we place the other pie in the lord's room?" It was definitely not his brightest idea, but it was effective. Meanwhile, Ciel woke up to find himself staring into the sky, the sun's glare causing him to block it. He realized that he was moving fast, then he noticed the Draik and the others. Ciel realized that he was no longer in the manor. "Hey! Let me go! I didn't finish my candy!" He started to panic as he tried to get out of the ropes that he was in, but it was no use. Ciel hoped that Sebastian could find him soon. Back at the manor, Lug and the other servants were cleaning up the mess, and he noticed the mousehole that Sebastian had mentioned earlier. The Draik nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Ciel, "Whoa, hey the kiddo woke up!" The Draik looked at the Skeith. "Well! Use that Sleep Ray thing again!" The Skeith ran with the Draik. They were close to the hideout. The drake sighed, "Bah! It's no use anyway, he's had too much sugar to sleep." The drake mumbled. Ciel went to fuss at him again and the drake put his claw over Ciel's mouth. The Skeith replied, "Well, we're almost at Az Rio's place now anyway." The Skeith said. Meanwhile, back at the Gelerthive Manor, Lavitti and Marador were cleaning up the lemon merengue. Lavitti looked at the mouse hole when Lug pointed it out. "Oh yeah, we never filled that hole." He mumbled. Lavitti then had an idea, "I know! We can use the lemon merengue to stuff the mousehole, then no more Tigermousey's can come in!" Lavitti clapped. Marador gasped and said with glee and surprised awe: "Ooooh, Lavitti! You're a genius in the making!" Marador clapped, and adjusted her glasses with her paw, wagging her Meerca tail happily. Lug nodded at Lavitti's idea, and stuffed the leftover lemon merengue into the hole, covering it with a piece of paper. "There, that should do it. Suddenly, a flood of Tigermouseys came through the hole eating the merengue covering it. Marador squealed loudly, hopping up onto her tail like a chair and watched as all the Tigermouseys wander through the manor, trying to find more merengue. "Oh no! Old Man Jeeves! Get the net!" Lavitti shouted. Old Man Jeeves brought out the net and laughed heartily: "Ho ho ho!" and began trying to catch the Tigermouseys along with the servants. Ciel felt the Draik cover his mouth, but now’s not the time so he bit into their claw hard. "I want to know where you're taking me right now!" He shouted at the Draik angrily. The Draik hissed, "Ow! Brat!" He looked at his claw and then glared. The Skeith snickered, "You're about to see here in a bit, kiddo. Az Rio's gonna be so proud of us." The Skeith said as they approached the building. It was an old building, grey and a dirty, off-white colour. The Draik pushed open the door and sat in a big chair, was a big, tall Lupe with a striped suit on. "Hm?" This was Az Rio. "Boss, we got that-" Just then Ciel bit the Draik again, but this time on the arm, "Ow!" The Draik angrily flapped his wings once and then glared at the lord. "-We got that little brat you were wanting us to bring to you." The Draik finished. Az Rio stood up off the chair and grinned, "Finally. You took long. Set'em down there." Az Rio pointed his paw on the floor. The Draik put Ciel down, not that gently either. "About time the two of you did something right, really." Az Rio mumbled and crossed his fluffy, Lupe arms. Az Rio approached Ciel, making the Skeith and Draik back up and Az Rio looked down at Ciel with a menacing look. "Hello there, Gelerthive." Az Rio grinned, a Lupe fang poking out of his mouth, laughing coldly. Meanwhile, Sebastian was running through the woods, following the tracks that the Draik and the Skeith had left. Sebastian finally got out of the woods and noticed the building nearby. He went to the door and tried to open it, but it had been locked, "Hm." He looked at the door, contemplating. "This situation calls for serious measures." Sebastian's sharp teeth showed as he turned around and headed to the main entrance. The main entrance, from the inside, was guarded with Az Rio's other bad guys, which consisted of Krawks, Kyriis and Grarrls. Sebastian just walked right in, as if he had no plan at all, and everyone looked at him. They aimed their Battledome weapons at Sebastian, and Sebastian only did a soft, yet cold grin. "Hello. I am here to retrieve the young master, if that's alright?" He said in a calm voice. Suddenly, all the different Battledome weapons went off and Sebastian dodged them quickly and swiftly, this was all going on as Az Rio and Ciel were first meeting, unfortunately, the room that Az Rio and Ciel were in had sound-proof walls, so Ciel couldn't hear his Xweetok butler, and Sebastian could not hear his Gelert young master. But Sebastian knew where Ciel was. Az Rio tied Ciel to the chair, Ciel attempted to untie the ropes holding him to the chair, but he was unsuccessful. "W-What are you doing?! Let me go!" He felt around his pocket and felt something that could help. A paintbrush. Meanwhile, back in the manor, Lug managed to scoop up most of the Tigermouseys from the floor. "Who knew that lemon merengue could attract this many Tigermouseys?" He mumbled. Lavitti sighed, "I'm sorry, It's my fault!" Lavitti pouted. "It was a good idea at the time!" He added. Az Rio snickered, "Look, I'll let you go under one condition." Az Rio put his paw on Ciel's chin, "You tell me where to find the key and deeds to your little candy factory, and I'll let you go." Az Rio grinned, as he slowly took his paw away from Ciel's chin. He headed back to his chair, which was a little bit far from Ciel's chair and sat down, crossed one leg over the other. Az Rio then added, "But I suppose, if you don't tell me, I bet that Lab Ray scientist on that island I know would LOVE a new test subject." Az Rio laughed. Meanwhile, Sebastian had made all the other members fall, they were on the ground unconscious and some ran away in fear of the fire spirit. Sebastian ran to the next room, headed upstairs, whilst dodging more attacks from various Battledome weapons and then jumped onto the chandelier. He flipped upside down, hanging from the chandelier and pulled out his silverware, then began to throw it at all the bad guys, which didn't expect silverware to be brought in a fight like this. Once Sebastian gets done with this room, he'd head to the backroom, where his young master was being held. Ciel started to panic, causing a paint droplet from the brush to drop onto a nearby petpetpet. His gaze turned to see it turn to candy. He has the tool. Now all he needed was a plan. "Well...I'll give you the keys to my factory," Ciel said, looking around the room. "If you show me who orchestrated this plan. Now." Az Rio laughed. "Com'on out, he wants to see you." Az Rio shouted out at a room upstairs. A Blonde-haired, yellow Kacheek stepped out of the room as if he was in a fashion show. It was Alois Lewis. Though at the time, this time, Ciel had no clue who this Kacheek was. He didn't know that Alois was actually his long-lost cousin. "Ah! There you are!" Alois ran downstairs after closing the door and tackle-hugged Ciel, even if Ciel was tied onto the chair. "It's been a long time, long, LONG time!" Alois laughed bubbly and patted Ciel's head, making Ciel's Gelert ears bounce slightly. Alois twirled and looked at Az Rio, "Thank you really for all your help, Az Rio." He said, paws behind his back in a friendly, childish manner, as he too, was a childlike Ciel. "Not only that you've reunited me with my long-lost cousin, I get his whole candy factory! Bwahahahaha! It's so perfect." His laugh sounded almost like a maniac’s, but cute somehow. Alois placed his paw on Ciel's head again and pet him as if he were a Petpet. "I bet you don't even remember me, do you?" Alois asked, then laughed again, "Because I sure don't! I just know you from some silly family tree book Uncle Harold had in my manor." Alois giggled and patted Ciel's head yet again, despite how much Ciel was getting annoyed by it by this point, as Alois has done it at least 5 times already. Ciel was about to lose it, he didn't believe that Alois was his long-lost cousin. "T-That can't be true you can't be a cousin of mine!" Soon, he heard the doors swing open, and recognized Sebastian immediately. He quickly felt him throw something to the ropes, causing him to get out quickly. He wielded the candy paintbrush as if it were a sword. "Don't you dare take my factory!" Az Rio stood up almost instantly. Az Rio scowled and charged at the Xweetok butler, but Sebastian was quick to get out of the way by front flipping. Sebastian landed on the ground, one paw in the air and one paw on the ground, he looked up at Az Rio and threw the silverware in his paw as Az Rio. Az Rio dodged, but fell onto the ground. Az Rio stood up and glared at the Xweetok, then noticed his abnormal, glowing red eyes. Az Rio looked a bit frightened, "W-What..... in Fyora-" Az Rio was suddenly swarmed with a cloud of fire. Az Rio fell back onto the ground and glared. "What are you?!" Az Rio shouted at him. Sebastian laughed softly and did his soft yet also very frightening smile at the Lupe, "Well. I am a fire spirit, I can manipulate and create fire using my own paws." Sebastian explained. "And since you have taken my young master, I shall play." Sebastian pulled out some more silverware and caught them on fire, making the silver turn orange. Az Rio sat up and shook his head, tail between his legs, "No! Wait! I'll give you anything! Anything you want or desire! Neopoints, Neocash!" Az Rio panicked. Alois sighed, "You're such a coward, Az Rio. I thought you were Mr. Tough Lupe. Ah well." Alois laughed. Alois tried to grab ahold of Ciel's wrist with his yellow paw, "Now give me those keys!" Alois snapped. Sebastian threw the flaming silverware at Az Rio, but Az Rio quickly got up and ran away, the silverware only gazing his arm, burning away some of his fur. Az Rio escaped out of the door, he wasn't usually this afraid, but he had never seen a Xweetok quite like Sebastian with such powers. Ciel looked at Alois who was shaking with fear now as Ciel painted his legs candy when he wasn't looking so he couldn't leave. "Now, tell me," he said pointing the paintbrush at Alois. "Why did you do this!?" Alois' Kacheek tail curled up in between his legs, which were now candy because of the paintbrush. "I'm jealous of you!" He said, "You get a whole candy factory, a bunch of recognition..... While I sit at my manor being lonely and without friends!" Alois added, tears building up in his eyes. Alois continued, "When I read articles in the Neopian Times about you and your fancy factory, your meetings with special candy-related people, You get invited to wonderful ballroom dances! I don't get any of that, yet I'm an Earl, just the same as you!" Alois finally stopped speaking, but began to cry. Sebastian put away the last bit of silverware he had into his pocket and approached Ciel and Alois. "His heart does seem to be in the right place, though his intentions were slightly poorly made decisions." Sebastian muttered. Snot began rolling down Alois' cheek, which to Sebastian, was a terrible sight. Sebastian pulled out a handkerchief out of his front tailcoat pocket and handed to the yellow Kacheek. Alois grabbed it and blew his little, round nose, that was now red from his crying. He sniffled, "T-Thank you butler." Alois rubbed his eyes. Alois tried to move, but couldn't, so he just stood there with this sad, slightly-grumpy look on his face. "I'm sorry, long-lost cousin Ciel." He finally added. Ciel felt pity towards his long-lost cousin, and quickly put the paintbrush away, a few big droplets landing on Alois. "Sorry about that," he said, helping Alois up. "I should've known earlier. You can come with me and Sebastian, just be careful when you move. Candy is quite fragile." After helping Alois up, he did his best to rub off the paint, but it only started to spread and get bigger. Alois cried, "Oh it's no use, I'm going to turn into candy now! Farewell world!" Alois said very dramatically. Sebastian sighed, he put his paw on Alois and slowly warmed up the candy paint, Sebastian then took the handkerchief and wiped away the warm liquidized candy paint, which let Alois move again and he was back to being yellow. Sebastian mumbled, "There. That should do it." Sebastian said softly. "Now then, my little lord, shall we head back to the manor? Alois here can stay the night until he can be brought back to his own manor." Sebastian said, looking at his young master. Ciel looked at Sebastian the at Alois. "Yes, I think that's the best option. Let's go." Back at the manor, Lug got out the last Tigermousey with his net. "Phew, that was a lot. You think we should clean up the rest?" Soon, he heard footsteps approaching, causing him to panic. "Oh no, someone's breaking in. Everyone hide!" Sebastian opened the door, carrying Ciel in his arms and Alois was clinging onto Sebastian's leg. Sebastian looked around, it wasn't spotless, but there was no Tigermousey. "Hm. I wonder if those bumbling servants filled up that mousehole yet?" He said quietly to himself. He shut the door behind him and proceeded to try to walk with Alois clinging onto his leg. Sebastian set down Ciel on the living room couch and he finally managed to get Alois to stop hugging his leg. He looked around, wondering where the servants might be. Lavitti perked his head up from behind a box that used to have a bunch of candy in it and looked, "Lug! Marador! It's just Sebastian!" He whisper-shouted. "Oh." Marador nodded. Lavitti jumped out from behind the box and then spoke loudly: "Sebastian! You weren't specific with your instructions on that pie you made!" Lavitti said. Sebastian looked at Lavitti, with a slight nod, Marador appeared from behind the doorway, "Why is your tailcoat so torn apart, and why does Ciel have mud all over him? And who in Faerieland is the Kacheek there?" Marador asked curiously. Sebastian just responded, "Ah, we tripped and fell in the mud. That's all." Then he added; "And this is Alois Lewis. Ciel's cousin." Sebastian put his paw on Alois' shoulder. "'Ello there. Nice to meet you." Alois waved.
Before Marador, Lavitti or even Lug could say anything, Sebastian opened his pocket watch, "My, my, it's getting quite late, is it not? I suppose I'll give the young master a bath, lead Alois to the guest room and then help young master to bed. Goodnight everyone." Sebastian closed the pocket watch and smiled again. He then closed the door to the living room, leaving Lavitti, Marador and Lug in the hallway just outside the kitchen. "BUT WAIT, YOU STILL DIDN'T TELL US WHAT TO DO WITH THE APPLE PIE!" Lavitti called out. Later, during towards the end of Ciel's bath time, Sebastian poured a vase of water onto Ciel's head to wash off any of the soap left on his head or ears and put the vase on the counter. Sebastian walked over to the bathroom closet, prepared Ciel's nightgown and the towel and then came back to the bathtub. Sebastian scooped Ciel out of the bath and then plopped the towel onto him and began drying off his fur, "So. Do you think we'll ever see Az Rio again? Or do you think I scared him far too badly for him to dare come back anywhere near us?" Sebastian softly laughed and took the towel off of Ciel's head and put the towel around Ciel like a little cape or cloak, Sebastian walked over to the nightgown, picked it up and then took away the towel to put the nightgown on Ciel, still awaiting the answer to his question. As Ciel and Sebastian walked to the bedroom, Ciel finally answered: "Well, I think that he and his group will be too scared to see me again," Ciel said, getting into bed. "Besides, he would never go near me with you around." He watched as Sebastian turned off the light next to his bed and went outside. As the door closed, Ciel got out of bed, grabbed the apple pie, and then went down to his candy stash. He chuckled as he ate the pie with the candy.
