I somehow only *just* today read the text on the main page for the Igloo Garage Sale: "Mika and Carassa are Chias who have lived on Terror Mountain for years and years, however it's been SO cold lately that they have decided to move somewhere with a more tropical climate." It's been over two decades and these poor chias still haven't been able to move to a warmer place!? Hello! It’s been really hard for Mika and Carassa to move. As you know, Chias have very short “legs”. So they have to consider and plan for that…But we think, with time, they will eventually reach their dream home! ~~Miss Rainbow

I am noticing a slight increase in artwork and items featuring a petpet called Talpidat. These little burying, negg eating creatures are cute. But I'm trying to imagine what their appendages are like. Are they fins? Or are they like part slug? Or do they just trail some sort of magic essence? ~ smudgeoffudge
I’m glad you think Talpidats are cute! (as one of the artists that helped create this little creature hehe ♥) These little guys are part feline and part amphibian, so they do sometimes have a slime-like coat on their bodies to protect their coats, like an axolotl, which helps them bury a little bit faster and can sometimes leave a little trail behind if they’ve been up to some mischief. Thank you to everyone past and present that has created music for the various games and events on Neopets.
