 Pet Name: Ruriale Owner: loocim00 Breed: Bori About Ruriale: Is that.. a Halloween Bori? No-no.. it's a Magma Bori? We don't know! "Ruriale was travelling with her school to Moltara for an excursion. Their class had been studying Moltara for a while, however Ruriale herself hadn’t been paying much attention. Her teacher had warned the class to stay close while on their tour, as Moltara wasn’t like other parts of Neopia, and was easy to get lost in the darkness. While her classmates were admiring the precision clockwork of the buildings in Moltara City, Ruriale snuck deeper into caves. The cave itself was warm but not too dark, glowing from the worms that crawled along the floor and walls. She peered out from the cave, and into the big cavern ahead of her. The magma pool glowed brightly in the distance, catching her attention. She slowly walked towards it, glacing around to make sure no-one had noticed. The guard was standing next to the pool, leaning onto his spear, fast asleep. His eyes were closed and with each breath he took, he let out a loud snore. Ruriale stood walked up the stairs adjacent to the pool and peering into the pool from above. She moved closer to get a better look.. "Ruriale!?" A voice echoed through the cavern. The bori jerked up quickly, causing her to lean forward and lose her balance. She landed in the pool with a splash, awakening the snoring guard. "Huh-uh, what?" He mumbled drowsily, shaking his head and standing upright. Ruriale sunk herself into the pool, holding just her noes and eyes above the magma. Surprisingly, it didn't burn - instead, she felt a strange tingling feeling. She moved back towards the edge of the pool, and slowly climbed out. She stumbled up the pool's rocky edge and ran to hide behind the lava falls. Looking down, Ruriale knew instantly something was wrong. She tried to recall why the pool was so important. Then it clicked. Her eyes went wide as she quickly looked at her arms. They were painted magma! She looked at her shadow casting on the wall, in some areas she glowed! She let out a shrill squeal, quickly covered her mouth and raced towards the closest rock wall. If she was caught, who knew what would happen. While her teacher approached the guard, Ruriale snuck around the magma pool and up the stairs into the dark cave, leaving drips of magma behind. She knew she could never face the guard or her friends looking like this, let alone tell her family what she had done." Ruriale was originally an Eventide Kougra who I found in the pound. She was a lab rat for a while, until her design was created. I was debating making her a desert explorer, however I couldn’t find a custom that suited. I almost gave up, until I found my Magma Pool time and played around with the colour.
