"No! Don't open it! It's Shadow Usul!"

Kota flipped the page of his comic book, covering his eyes with one paw. Peeking out through his fingers he gasped, flipping the page again. He was just about to keep reading when lightening flashed.

With a yelp the blue Lupe scampered under his bed, holding his comic book in his mouth. Shivering he covered his head. "I hate storms, and when is Mouser going to return with that 'surprise' thing? " he snarled, coming out from under the bed and tossing the comic into an empty chair. His stomach growled loudly, reminding him he hadn't eaten dinner. Sighing he walked in to the kitchen, sniffing around for something to eat.

Nothing. Grumpily he walked over to the window and looked out at the rain. Lightening flashed again, illuminating a huge figure heading toward the house. Kota jumped, "It's the Shadow Usul!" he said worriedly. 'What I'm I going to do? Sheira is with Mouser, and Killer has gone to mystery island for the day!' he thought desperately.

Turning in a circle and chewing on his paws. A 'thump thump' on the door made him freeze. "It's just like in the book!" he whimpered as the thumping continued. "The book." Running back to his room he opened it. "I hope that works." He said, walking back to the door slowly. The knocking was louder this time.

Squeezing his eyes shut he opened to door quickly and with a loud howl, jumped into the middle of the monster. His owner, Mouser kitty fell backward into the mud was he slammed into her. The packages that she had been carrying flew into the air as the two of them rolled around in the mud.

"Kota! You dingdong! It's Mouser!" Kota crossed his eyes, looking down at a mud covered Mouser, then at Sheira who was trying to clean off the sopping packages. Grinning sheepishly he jumped off his owner who raised her eyebrows, "Reading another comic Kota?"

The blue Lupe rubbed the back of his neck, "Uh�maybe." Sheira shook her head, helping mouser up as Kota held the door open for them. Sheira put the bags on the counter, showing him what was inside.

"Chocolate chias!" his mouth watered as Mouser handed one to Sheira and then looked at him, "Kota, I'll give you one of these of you do me a favor." Kota nodded his head quickly, licking drool from his mouth, "Uh huh. Uh huh."

"Go get that comic book." Kota retreated to his room and brought back the book, his eyes on the treat in her hand.

"Good, now give it to me." Kota gave her the book, wondering what she was going to do. Mouser smiled opening the window on pulling back her arm. "Wait no!" Mouser flung the book out the window into the rain. "Ok, here." She handed him a chia as he stared outside, "But now I won't know how it ends!" he argued. Sheira smiled, licking the chocolate from her mouth, "Then just go get it."

Lightening flashed again and he fell over with a yip, the chia flying into Sheira's paws. "Uh�maybe later." He said, yanking the treat from her hands. Mouser laughed, tossing Sheira another one as she started to laugh too. "What?" Kota asked innocently.

"Look outside."

Kota howled, running back into his room and slamming the door as Killer came in, "What was that?" she asked confusedly. "Oh nothing," Sheira said, shoving the chocolate into her mouth.
