A Day At The Kadoatery

A new set of Kadoaties sit in their cage,
Early in the morning, some are full of rage,
Stamping their paws in an angry rampage,
Waiting for someone to feed them 
With quite a wage.

All of them have unique names,
Piddles, Van Cleef, Pickle-nut, and James,
Once you feed one, roll in the fame,
Of having a trophy and an avatar 
If you play it as a game.

A Kadoatie yellow as sunshine, 
Proud and so very glad,
A poor little blue Kadoatie, looking so sad
Suddenly a mutant Kadoatie 
Will instantly turn bad
Furiously handing its owner 
5,000 NP for being mad.

A Negg, an edible leg, 
Grape juice fresh from vines.
The greedy fellas ask a lot, 
Almost as pricey as these felines,
If they get what they want, 
Their smiles are genuine,
If you feed a Kadoatie its dinner, 
It will call you "mine."

The Snowager's Treasure

A Blue Kiko Keyring,
Some orange-ish ooze.
My mind screams inside me,
Just what will you choose?

My arms fall beside me;
I'm ready to pick.
I've decided. A Negg!
I lay hands on it quick. 

My hands wrap around,
My grip then tightens.
I look all around;
My eyesight then heightens.

My heart beats so fast;
My body is heating.
I look 'round once more,
For a moment so fleeting...

The cave is so vast.
The treasure is shining.
This moment shall be,
My life's silver lining.

Dubloons and bright rings,
The snow has made pail,
And between all the colour,
Flicks a large icy tail.

Negg in my arms,
I run without thinking.
The sleet in my eyes,
I cannot help blinking.

I'm moving so fast.
My heart beats with pleasure.
I look down and smile,
At the Snowager's treasure.

For years on I'll tell,
Of that wonderful pleasure,
That I really did feel,
Stealing Snowager's treasure.

Haikus and even sonnets --
So many poems to choose from
How do the judges do it?!?

I love to read the poems each day
There is always something new --
Without the Poetry Competition

Wonderous Faeries Of Neopia

The queen of grace, Fyora flies
The rule of darkness, Jhudora in the sky
Illusen one of earthen glee
Soup Faerie helps with soup for free

Meet Naia and take a rainbow dip
Delina will fix stuff in a jiff!
Mira wandering through deep space
Aethia battles at breakneck pace

The ones of brightness, of light so pure
Light faeries Neopians adore
Flying high above in great white clouds
Air faeries hum and float about

Swimming swiftly in the deep
Lie water faeries with knowledge to keep
Quick-tempered and bringing the heat
Fire faeries' temper can't be beat

Darkness reigns when they appear
Dark faeries can be good 
But many should be feared
Helping the plants and the flowers grow
Earth faeries make Neopia glow

There are also grey faeries
With very sad eyes
But when Neopets visit
They are glad with surprise

Neopia strives with faeries about
They all work together, without a doubt
