How Hard Could It Be?
By chubby216

I'd like to complain,
To the powers that be,
To those who are charged with cleaning,
The Cheeseroller hill.
How hard could it be,
To fill all the potholes?
I hit three each roll,
Losing precious time,
Stuck in the muck.
How hard could it be,
To pick up the obvious?
Huge pointy rocks litter the hill,
Whether I go left or right.
My cheese smashes into stone
That doesn't budge an inch.
How hard can it be,
To saw off some wood?
Tree limbs reach down
And smack my cheese back,
I lost 10 seconds there,
And I can't even duck!
What should they do?
These lazy laborers,
With the power to control,
Should be given the necessary tools,
To improve their course.
Complain to their union for
Shovels for the potholes,
Wheelbarrows for the rocks,
Saws for the dangling tree limbs,
And let us not forget the most important
That would help tremendously...
For their failing eyesight...
Glasses.

The Hidden Tower
By Hey_babe_watz_sup

I zoomed in the sky,
on my Faerie Chomby's back,
looking for something invisible.

I knew it sounded strange,
but I didn't care.
I was going to find it.

The wind in my hair,
so refreshing and delightful,
my hands were sticking out,
trying to feel something.

Suddenly, it hit me,
no, seriously, it did,
something hard hit my face.

"Ouch. I found it!" I said, rubbing my face,
I had found it,
at last.

I walked inside, and found the Faerie Queen,
"What would you like to buy?" she asked,
"A baby paintbrush," I replied.

"That will be two hundred thousand neopoints,"
she said,
"What!?!? That's outrageous," I exclaimed,
she gave me a look that said better save up then.

I walked out counting my neopoints,
"Only one thousand three hundred and twelve,"
I sighed.
I had a lot of saving to do.

But I was happy,
because I found the one, the only,
Hidden Tower.

The Magical Pteri Plushie
By buggiebrain

I walked into the Toy Shop,
With my heart filled with joy.
I searched in every shelf
To find the perfect toy.

My eyes darted from side to side,
Still looking 'round and 'round.
I would not quit and would not stop,
'Till the perfect toy was found.

And suddenly, it caught my eye!
It took me by surprise.
There was something strange about it.
It had a sparkle in its eyes.

I quickly snatched it from the shelf,
And thought it over in my mind,
Should I really make the purchase,
Or should I leave this toy behind?

"It does feel rather fluffy,"
I thought in my head.
"It'll make a wonderful friend,
For me to snuggle with in bed."

I pondered and I pondered,
And thought it over just once more.
I hurried to the counter,
And rushed out through the door.

Yes, I bought the magnificent toy,
But now I regret it oh so much.
I should've left it there,
For some other fool to touch!

For when I placed my foot on the dirt,
It did not feel quite right.
I glanced down at my feet,
There were talons and wings for flight!

Maraqua
By magick_kid

Maraqua, Maraqua,
what secrets do you hold?
what mysteries are waiting
to be uncovered by the bold?

Were you a proud people,
like the Faeries and the Krawks?
Or merchants of old,
of the Desert, perhaps?

Did you sell famous Petpets?
and paint burshes renowned?
Did a palace of royalty,
Seat the nobly crowned?

Do you hold books and tomes,
of your lost history?
Painting and games
full of your mystery?

Do the Kois and Peophins
know something we don't?
An ancient knowledge,
we can't hold, or won't?

Something lurking,
in the back of my mind?
An entrance, maybe?
Or the place of your kind?

Do you dwell beyond the Great Plateau?
Or is the way in from the Island next door,
as ancient as you?
Full of strange lore?

We may never know,
as for now it may seem,
that your ruins will ever be understood,
and in the oceans with only fish teem.

Maquara, Maquara,
what secrets do you hold?
what mystery is waiting
for brave and the bold?

A Lovely Wocky
By hermionetwin

A lovely Wocky,
Sitting in the pound,
No one wants her,
But myself, I've found,
She sits there all day,
Nothing to do,
Waiting for someone,
Like me or you,
So I pick her up,
And look in one eye,
And I know at once,
Without her I'll die,
So I took her home with me,
And wonderful she was,
Soft and pretty and silky,
That great ball of fuzz,
I bought her games, toys and food,
She loved it all,
I took her everywhere with me,
And I see she's done me tons of good,
Made me think about my life,
Made me passionate and caring,
Lovable and kind and sweet,
And maybe even daring,
To take a chance,
To walk the line,
To love a pet,
She gave me a sign,
And now I'm happy,
Happy as can be
The Lovely Wocky,
Who was meant to be
