I was walking through the park,
looking at all the happy owners
with their neopets,
I was hoping for a neopet,
but never willing to,
because I didn't know
how to care for one,
until I meet Lyla,
she was there,
sitting by a tree stump,
she seemed sad,
she seemed alone,
she was angry,
I went to see,
and ask her why she was so sad,
she told me that,
her old owner had dumped her
for another neopet,
i felt sad,
and I knew I had to do something,
I offered a home,
I offered food,
yet I knew it was not enough,
so I offered her...
a place in my heart,
I felt this wonderful feeling,
all of a sudden,
I knew how to care for Lyla,
Lyla was so happy,
that she knew she had an owner,
who treats her well,
and loves her for who she is,
and not for what she is.
