Coltzan and the Kougra

After trudging through the desert,
Living in fear,
She takes a deep breath, and
Clutches her spear.
After coming this far,
She must persevere,
For the Shrine of dear Coltzan
Is very near.

She yelps as her paw
Gives out under her leg.
The Kougra collapses, and
Begins to beg:

"Please spare me, O Coltzan!
I'm so near to you!
I have no strength left.
Is there nothing you can do?"

An eerie wind blows, and
The Kougra patiently waits.
Then she feels strong again, so
There can be no debate.

She was healed by dear Coltzan,
Her Hitpoints are again high.
As she heads home in relief,
She whispers, "Good bye."

A Girl And Her Bori

I just got a Bori,
And it's really cute.
It loves to play games,
And eat lots of fruit.

I love her very much,
She's my new best friend.
I will never abandon her;
She's mine 'til the end.

I won't give her up,
Not even for money;
I'll feed and take care of her,
Give her some honey.

Don't expect to see an ice Bori
In the pound any time soon,
If anyone would do that,
It'd only be a goon!

Well, I hope you liked my poem,
It's time for me to go,
I hope I don't lose my Bori
Outside in the deep snow!

Turdle Racing

In the lovely land of Meridell,
A game there will you find,
Where little Turdles have a race
With others of their kind.

They all start in the middle,
A curious type of thing,
And see who can go the fastest
To the edges of the ring.

One Turdle's name is Stinky,
A speedy little guy,
Who would zoom across the finish line,
If he ever cared to try.

Another's name is Poopy,
A clever, witty tot,
Who claims his scams to win are fair,
But we know that they are not!

The third one's name is Smelly,
One you'd never wish to meet.
'Most everyone avoids him,
The stench is far past sweet.

Squelchy is the fourth one,
But he is quite a chore.
He often needs a little push,
Since he sticks to the floor.

The last Turdle is Nutty,
Insane and quite a sight,
But prone to random phases,
When he's out like a light.

You have the chance to feed one,
Before your bet is placed.
And then you could win Neopoints,
After they have raced.

So if you are in Meridell,
And eager for a chase,
Go on and bet, it's loads of fun
To watch those Turdles race!

Haunted Life

Recalling days long gone,
he remembers a time of happiness.
It is a flicker in the void,
in which he has felt for ages.

Gliding through tree and brush,
the likes of which pain him so,
the memory of his lost love
tortures his soul.

The very memory of not having
been able to save her, condemned
him in death to remain in the
living realm of Neopia.

His lonely howls haunt the night
when the moon shines brightly,
his ghostly form a vague memory
among the citizens of Neopia.

He appears before some, a lonely
figure clouded in mystery, that
seem in need of his aid.

Perhaps one day, his soul will
be put to rest, but for now,
the Ghost Lupe's howls still
claim the starry night sky.
