I'll do anything, pay any price.
I'll make any sacrifice.
Riches and fame are waiting for me
If I fill my gallery!

I won't know what to do with my fame.
Everyone will know my name.
Perhaps I'll even get a parade.
Just picture the accolades!

But before my dreams can all come true,
There's so much I have to do.
Sell my Neohome, go into debt?
It's worth it just to collect!

My Neopets are hungry and bored all day
But I just don't have time to play.
Why go and pick up a free omelette?
I have other things to get!

I sit at the Trading Post all day.
Something may just come my way!
That old Shop Wizard is my best friend
And auctions that are about to end!

Wherever I go, I'm looking out
A treasure may be about.
I don't know where I'll make my next find.
But I can't leave it behind!

So just what is it I'm speaking of?
What treasure has me abuzz?
Usuki dolls or things made of dung?
It must be something so fun!

That really doesn't matter to me.
I just want a gallery.
So I shrug when asked what I'm doing.
The "what" doesn't matter --
It's about the collecting!

Sullenly resigned it lies, just there
On pink-kissed cloud above worlds fair
Abstract figure of abandonment
Imprisoned by wiles of enchantment

Soft felt limbs folded gently
Writ' with careful stitch faint-shimmery
Cerulean pall sark 'gainst white cloud puffs
The neat-formed mouth scant of laughs

Who is to know its secret kept?
Lost forever in cage of mute regret
In twin glass eyes marked with mystery
The discarded Grundo plushie of prosperity

My fingers are limp and leaden,
Cramped and desolate,
Like the tongue of a weary Spardel.
Pink Spyder legs that sprawl across the keyboard.
My thumb cannot reachthespacebar.
"Typing Terror" has claimed another addict.

My eyes are dazed from the dazzling bursts,
Of Sloth's laser beam.
Another moon has been incinerated,
Another galaxy lost to the Crazy Green One.
No wonder Lutari Island is hiding in mist.

I will not rhyme today.
My brain is primordial sludge,
Pummeled by worksheets,
And black numbers,
And quizzes.
Sloosh, slosh, whurp, goes my brain.
My school demands too much.

I will not rhyme today.
My will is strong, like a Lupe King,
Bold in the face of rhythm,
And tempo.
I turn a deaf ear to words that:
Saunter, oscillate, reverberate,
Align crisp and straight.
Words that dance merrily,
Words sealed by fate.

No, I will not rhyme today.
Gorix, Time Tunneler, could not make be budge,
When my head is filled with primordial sludge.
The scariest Meepit, no matter how crazed,
Could not faze my words
When my eyes are so dazed.
And my hands -- how cramped!
How weary and leaden!
I respond not to Heermeedjet or Merouladen!
Don't threaten me, tickle me, for I cannot feel,
When my heart is made of Kreludor steel.

No, I will not rhyme today.
Not short silly ones, like "bay," and "May,"
Nor the woven temptations
Of "Illusen," and "Jacques,"
Which work silver magic
On Ms. Prenderghast.
I refuse to be toyed with,
To waver or wend! I refuse to--

The size of a bumblebee
Of a berry on a bush

But hey, it's a battle pea!

Look at its fortitude
And you'll never have to flee
If you behold the power
Of this mighty battle pea!

Meerca Pirates!

Thundering, the echoed sound,
As waves beat wooden deck.
A master captain's needed here,
Or ship shall go to wreck!

A blackened flag flies on the mast,
So sinister to view.
Design distinct of ocean rouges,
The fabled Meerca Crew!

Through costal regions, rumours spread,
Of ship manned by these folk.
A Pirate group of Meerca fiends,
Whose name does fear provoke.

The bouncing scoundrels of the sea,
Who plunder once at shore.
Then scuttle quickly back aboard,
With treasures they might score.

The Captain seems a shady sort,
One eye cloaked by dark patch.
A wealthy sort, this Meerca rouge,
From wealth the crew does snatch!

The sudden sound of him on deck,
So brings the group to life.
For when that peg leg noise does sound,
They know it might bring strife.

The ship sails in a tempest, dark,
Those horror stories, true.
A Pirate ship far out at sea,
Manned by a Meerca Crew!
