Magical Tonu Plushie

One sunny day, the scene of the Plateau
Came into view from a few dozen miles.
My Neopet did stare in amazement of it all;
Hundreds of Tonu plushies all stacked up in piles!

My Neopet did but take four,
Neatly positioned them in a pull-along cart
And pulled it, like you would.
There was something about one plushie
that set it apart.

A shiny horn protruded from the middle of his head,
Two sparkly eyes stared back at him;
There was some kind of magic about this plushie
The other plushies seemed dull and rather dim...

The plushie. There he sat, completely lifeless.
My Neopet picked him up in his paws,
And squeezed him once or twice...
Then the plushie scratched him with his claws!

It was a terrible sight, he dropped the plushie.
My Neopet could not help it; he was crying.
The magical plushie was running
around my Neohome,
Wrecking havoc in the best of places -- or trying.

I ran, I shouted, I screamed,
To make peace with this atrocious plushie.
It was vicious, it bit and roared,
But at last, we were somewhat lucky!

Pushing the plushie back into the cart,
My Neopet ran as fast as he could
Back to the Tyrannian Plateau,
To put this plushie back into the heap of mud.

Well, it must've been a real Tonu in disguise:
The plushie began to weep and cry,
My Neopet felt quite a bit sorry,
But this plushie had no reason to lie.

For that reason alone, there
he left the magical plushie,
But it followed my Neopet
back to my Neohome door.
We stood and we stared; why was it here?
It politely sat on the wooden Neohome floor.

So, should we be kind enough
to take in this plushie?
After all it did, all the trouble it made?
We have a place in our heart for all plushies alike --
They can be quite handy in times of trade.

Next time you see a Tonu plushie,
Just remember, it might not be what it seems.
Instead be on your guard, you don't know
what it could bring.

Clashing Horns

As golden dawn washed ancient land,
The plateau lit so slow.
A battle stadium, alight,
In a land lost long ago.
Two titans met at break of day,
To stands did locals dash.
A Tonu battle to the end,
For now, the horns would clash.

An ancient grudge would settle here,
Resolving it, the aim.
One would leave as battle champ,
And one would go with shame.
Heavy feet stomped weary dust,
One lowered, narrowed gaze.
Sun now lit the endless sky,
The stadium, ablaze.

A sign not given, yet they ran,
Two lunging beasts so large.
Toward each other, heads down low,
The Tonu foes did charge.
In combat, horns were locked in place,
The two, enraged, did meet.
But only one could win the match,
Emerge, Tonu elite.
