Okay, so not all of us have the determination or the will to become the
greatest NeoPet player ever to play. Some people have pets that have levels
the same as the amount of money we have and there are some people who
just can't win (no offense!) So here are some tips to play it safe at
the Battledome. First of all don't try to fight pets that are so much
stronger than your pets. I know this sounds obvious but some people just
don't realize that these pets are just out of their league. Next, target
pets so you can find some pets with similar stats. Next "level up"
your pets so you can be a big time fighter. Here are some level up tips:
- Level them up at the training center
- Try to get all of the map pieces for the Laboratory and use it everyday
- Get a morphing potion that matches your pet's species first just in
case you don't like their species
- Use Faeries on your pets
- Use the special Neggs that the Negg Faerie gives away (e.g. Snegg, Basic
Power-up Negg, and Radioactive Negg)
- Always do Faerie Quests when they ask you (even the Faerie Queen's).
Since the quests are pretty rare the prices for the items are down also.
Now that you leveled up your pet, get some Battledome items! Let's just
say your not one of those millionaires of Neopia. I know you want those
Rod of Supernovas and other items which probably have as many numbers
in the price as your Social Security Number, but restrict yourself and
get other great Battledome items for lower prices.
Some suggestions are the Snowballs. I know they don't last long in a
battle (but that's why you buy the wands) because they're effective in
every way. Some other suggestions are the Frost Cannons and the Ultra
Lightning Beam. The Frost Cannon might freeze your opponents and leave
you for an open hit. The Lightning Beam is effective also, combine it
with a Stone Snowball and a fierce attack and it will probably damage
about 15-30 hp off of your opponents hp. WOW that's a lot! Some other
things to try out that some more expensive but worth it are the Faerie
Weapons (e.g. Wand of the Light Faerie and Necklace of the Water Faerie)
they can damage and defend your pets. If you can afford it also a Nova
or the Supernova motes. They heal, defend, and attack but the downside
is that you can only use them once, so I recommend to use it in a big
battle that you just don't want to lose.
Sometimes your pet "accidentally" reaches a level past a certain ability.
You can't learn that special Heal ability that you need to survive in
the Battledome, so what you need are those healing mushrooms. You can
attach them to your pet and use them to heal them. Some other healing
items that you can attach are the elixirs and the elusive Life Giver.
They are much more powerful and much more expensive. But if you want to
win, then what the heck? Right?
Here are some ways to heal your pets after the battle. First you can
feed it healing Neggs or just plain feed it. If you got a Faerie Totem
use it to go to the Faerie Springs in Faerieland. Here you can buy cheap
healing items and use the magic of the Water Faerie to heal your pet.
If you're lucky she'll also heal all your pets and make them bloated.
This is all I have to say so this is the Battle Faerie signing out. Good
luck in the Battledome!
