The Shop Wizard's Life-Behind the Scene

Have you ever wondered about the Shop Wizard's life? Ever wonder how he became the Shop Wizard? He doesn't work in the Marketplace 24 hours a day, you know! He's had a life too....

He grew up smart and sensitive in a rich noble fuzzy family. He was also a major chick magnet even though he was kind of nerdy. His parents, well, both of them married ten times and because of that he pledged never to marry. Although his grades weren't the greatest, he was still considered the smartest. His brother were very jealous of him for that reason. He just knew how to find things quicker than they did.

"He was always the most athletic at recess," says a grade school friend. "All the girls had a crush on him, and all the other guys wanted to be like him."

He grew up known as Fizzia Wizdria. Being a wizard ran in the family. Everyone expected him to grow up to be the next Merlin, but he had a different life style in mind....

He always wanted to be a Mathemagician. He loved math but his family did not know this nor did they want anything to do with it. He grew up in the shadows of his older brother, Carrya Wizdria, AKA the Mystery Island Shop Wizard. He showed signs of being a Merlin when he was only three years old and it was obvious he was the favorite of the family.

Fizzia was sad that he was always neglected by his parents. "I went over to his house one time and he said hello to his parents and it's as if he didn't exist to his parents. They didn't treat him like a son," said a high school friend. "He was very sad all the time. All he wanted to do was help people find the cheapest priced item for their hard earned Neopoint. That's all. Nothing wrong with that. His parent's, on the other hand, didn't want to hear about it."

As Fizzia grew up, his social life got worse because people began calling him a nerd. He was into numbers and different mathematical theories, along with practicing good magic. He got more and more depressed as he got older because his family totally shunned him for the direction he was taking his life into. His main goal in life was to become anything but Merlin, which disappointed his parents very much.

As time went on, Carrya's grades were dropping like someone jumping out of an airplane and his parents leaned more and more to the other brothers, not Fizzia, to become Shop Wizards. That was the final straw. Fizzia knew he could be the best Shop Wizard but nobody thought so because of his new techniques. People were scared by new things. His only support were his two friends at school--the other nerds that believed that numbers could revolutionize the position of Shop Wizard.

Well when Fizzia grew up and graduated from college in the top two percent of his class, he was the most sought after of all the Wizdria brothers. His new techniques of searching the marketplaces were, in fact, the fastest and had proven to be error free. At the time NeoPets was searching for a new Shop Wizard because the one they had was slow and old--he found items that were overpriced and stale and sometimes rotten (ick). Neopia wanted the smartest, fastest, and the cutest and the only pet that fit the description was Fizzia!

They interviewed him, and tried him out for a few days, but he wasn't happy with his pay so Fizzia quit, saying how he was going to do some freelance wizardry. Then all of Neopia heard and went on strike. For days the streets of Neopia were filled with the chant: WE WANT FIZZIA!

Fizzia couldn't let them down, so he took the job of Official Shop Wizard with special conditions, of course. Carrya and Fizzia's other brothers got jobs as well (jobs not as important as Fizzia) using Fizzia's search techniques. When NeoPets discovered new lands they created new marketplaces and that meant that they needed new Shop Wizards! Even though Fizzia was the best Shop Wizard, he couldn't manage all the marketplaces at the same time so his brothers quickly applied and were then forced to work in the shadows of Fizzia!
