The Suffering

So maybe things didn't turn out the way
That I would have liked it to be so
But I know that soon there will be sun ray
Like it first shone on me when I came

I miss you in my mind but I don't say
My friends, well, I guess they are strong
I hope our memories will never fade
As I hope them strong inside my aching heart

I feel so homesick but I know I'm strong
That is why I keep it to myself and you know me
Always stubborn and and not admitting my wrong
But I will prove myself to be the one and only

One day I will see you again but not so soon
I may be suffering now but it will be better
I have I know the feeling, it says in the moon
And the sun will lead me to the happiness I sought

First there was a huge flood and the Neopets that build homes on the ground had to sleep over in the treehouses like Nsynca, Exlund, and Yamakarasu. Chippy2000, SkarIX, Pozialle, and Gyka didn't survive the flood any better though as they were on food hunting when it happened. It was a huge flood and cleared many things away and caused a great havoc. They thought that the worst was gone when they found a cataract on a nearby mountain and it was the best place to have fun. The fun didn't last though as the waterfall almost swallowed up Nsynca.

"Ahhhh!" Nsynca had cried out, "I'm drowning!"

Exlund and Pozialle wasted no time as they were they nearest to him and swam as fast as they could towards Nsynca. But Nsynca wasn't holding very well and so SkarIX quickly flew to the rescue and lifted him out of the water. After a frantic amount of panic, things were back to normal, or maybe not, as they found their homes hacked when they returned.

"I can't find my Wand anywhere!" cried Gyka flipping through his draw of Battledome items.

"And my Attack Fork is gone too!" exclaimed Exlund in desperation.

"Auuurgh!" groaned Yamakarasu, "My best toy is gone!"

"They'll pay for this," said Pozialle frowning angrily, "640,000 Neopoints! All our week's hard work!"

"What?!" cried Chippy2000, "no way!"

"Yes way," said Pozialle, "just look at our bank!"

"Oh, darn it!" said Nsynca, "this is no use, we are doomed."

"Come on now guys, don't give up this easily," said SkarIX, "I'm sure we'll catch our thief and return to the easy life we had the first week."

"Yeah," said Exlund, "It's only been a little over a week and we are all groaning."

"How about not and let's go back?" suggested Nsynca.

"Not that again," said Chippy2000, "we decided this and this is what we will cope with, all right?"

"OK, boss," said Pozialle angrily slamming his closet close.

"Hey good idea, I'll be the boss," said Chippy2000.

"No I was been sarcastic," said Pozialle.

"And there would be quite an argument about it," said Yamakarasu.

They all went outside and started asking questions about the hacking of their things. "Not a safe place to live in here," said a Chia, "there are always nature disasters and thieves around, a lot of them. Only very occasional would you get a time of peace like last week. For me, I live three hills away with my owner, much better place you know. Really, if you want safe, get an owner."

"We have owners," growled Gyka.

"Where, they can't be good leaving you to the wild, eh?" replied the Chia.

The words hit Gyka hard in the face and he couldn't bring out the words to say that if was really they who left their owners. The Chia seemed to guess though and whispered, "Trust me, stranger, go back to wherever you cam from before it's too late. Terrible rumours these days, that this land will be destroyed."
