A Guide to Kiko Match

by kangaroogurl

You know what this article is about, If you’ve read the title, but if you haven’t here’s my summary: This is a guide to Kiko Match, probably the best balanced between easy and high-paying game on Neopets. If you don’t play regularly, you’re missing out on a whole lot of NP. Plus, it’s quick and easy. These are my strategies:

1. Do not click randomly! Develop an organised way of doing things. I go from the top-left hand corner, along the row, down one and along the middle row going right to left, and then the last row left to right, to finish at the bottom-right hand corner.

2. Instead of trying to remember what each Kiko’s colour is, go by facial expression. I have made up these names:

Smiley- for the one that is grinning (darker greeny-blue)
Silly- for the one with its tongue poking out (blue)
Doc- for the one with glasses (red)
Shy- for the one with a small smile (sort of yellow/green/brown)
Cocky- for the one with a smirk (yellow)
Angry- for the one with a zigzag mouth (green)

SUMMARY OF 1 AND 2: As you go along, you say to yourself, for example, “Angry, Doc, Smiley…” then say you come across another Doc (red), you match it up with the second Kiko, which was also a Doc. If you were clicking randomly, how would you remember which square was clicked second? Then you say, “Angry, Smiley, Silly”. Then if you found another Silly (blue) they’d match up and you would go on until you had finished. Of course, this isn’t the exact sequence every time, so don’t think it is.

3. Be quick about it! You get more points! If you get any less than 180, try again and don’t submit your score (the only way I know how to not submit is to close the window and then open another one). Aim for at least 180 at first, then steadily increase your goal until you get to at least 230 points. If you can do a lot better, aim higher still. I can only get 245 points at the most, and I usually get 230 or 235. That, three times a day, seven days a week, is about 4900 NP!

Okay, so this article wasn’t very long. Sue me. I’ll just say it was extremely useful, which it will be if it’s ever published (*wink* *wink* nudge nudge). If you use the tips in this article, you will improve in Kiko Match. By how much, I’m not sure, but I can pretty much guarantee that you will. I think. At least if you’re not using these tips already. Anyway, I’d appreciate feedback, even negative stuff, just don’t be too harsh :)
