Princely_Pauper was created to be my official lab ray pet. For first five days just regular zaps, nothing out of the ordinary. But on the sixth I went to do my daily zap and he cried "NOOOOO!!!" A flash of light filled the room and as my eyes adjusted, I saw a cute little garlic jubjub sitting on the table. I fell completely in love with his garlicky-ness and quickly decided to stop zapping him.

When I took him back to our NeoHome, my other pets quickly wrinkled their noses.

"UGH! What is that smell?" They shouted in unison.

"Guys this is Princely_Pauper! We paid a visit to the Secret Laboratory and he changed to a Garlic Jubjub. " I chuckled.

Of course, my two other pets quickly adjusted to living with a now garlic jubjub.

"Well think of it this way, at least now we won't ever have to worry about vampires coming to get us. " I joked.

Princely_Pauper was not amused.

"You expect me to be able to fend off vampires?!?!" he cried.

I fell out the chair laughing. "Princely, don't you know that vampires hate garlic? They can't stand to be any where near it!"

Still looking confuzzled Princely_Pauper just shrugged.

"I guess so. " he replied.

Since changing to a garlic jubjub, we all have had to learn how to adjust. I learned rather quickly not to let Princely_Pauper swim in the public pool. After playing in the water for an hour or so, the air became pungent with the odor of garlic. Pretty much everyone who went swimming got out of the pool smelling like garlic for a couple days. Well, not that that's a bad thing! I mean usually you end up smelling like bleach so garlic is a lot better.

*whispers* Thats just what I told him, he was a little upset after that incident.

We've also learned not let him be by himself when he goes out. One time he went out to a resturaunt, and the chef and his cooks tried to kidnap him! Luckily, I was down the street buying some toys, when I heard the commotion. I had to call the police, but for a second there I was really frightened my pet would end up in a dinner.

The biggest adjustment has to be the smell, anything he touches pretty much will smell like garlic for a couple days. I've had to make sure to buy him separate toys from Hanabururu and Koga. They were a little miffed when their favorite toys reeked of garlic after Princely had played with them for a bit. When I go into his room, I have to wear a gas mask since the odor is so overwhelming. I air out his room every month, and when I do the whole block can smell it. While these might seem like big adjustments, Princely_Pauper is a happy, some times smelly Garlic jubjub.

We all love him just the way he is.
