Imagine... You're walking on the cliffy sides of the most mysterious part of Mystery Island, because you were bored, and you're thinking:

-sigh- 'Why did I walk this far? I've never been to this place, I haven't seen a living creature in hours!'

You mumble some curses and want to turn around to go back in the direction you came from, but a squealing sound is pulling your attention towards it.

A small Tuskaninny jumps up a rock, looks at you for a moment, and then starts to talk :

'my name is Yaeis, and I'm the proud king of all Tuskaninnies that live in the sea.

Yes, you've heard that correctly, I'm the big leader. So bow, you ignorant fool!'

You stare at the small creature, who is waiting for you to bow, and think :

'Why would that ordinary thing be the king of all Tuskaninnies?'

You look at him with disparagement.

"I see in your eyes that you don't believe me, idiot. But I'll explain it. Sit down and listen. "

"No, I don't believe you. "

You sit down on a rock covered with moss, as Yaeis starts his story.

"A long time ago, when I was younger and Neopia wasn't as crowded as it is now, I lived in Maraqua. "

Yaeis points to some rocks on the horizon. "Look, those are the leftovers. I'm really pleased to hear that they're rebuilding Maraqua. "

"It was my hometown, and we played an awful lot of underwater games. It was really a nice place to live for us, underwater creatures.

One catastrophic day, I think it was somewhere between March and May, I came home from a tiring day at school. On my way home, I saw a baby Tuskaninny that was walking way too close to the Bubbling pit.

He looked like he had no idea of the danger of that place.

I was going to shout something at the little boy, but then he stumbled on a rock and fell down right into the Pit!

I was really frightened and shocked, but quickly reacted.

I jumped into the Bubbling Pit (which is really deep) and swam down real fast. I grabbed the baby, right before he would hit the bottom.

With what was left of my forces, I swam back up as fast as I could.

A little group of people surrounded the pit at the top, and a crying mother pulled the baby out of my arms.

They started shouting things and talking to each other, so I sat down, exhausted.

The king was looking out of his palace window all the time, and had seen all that had happened.

He ran outside to walk in our direction.

He raised his voice and said: 'The hero who rescued the baby should be honoured for his courage and strength!

What is your name, young man?'

'My name is Jay, noble king. ' I answered.

'From now on you will be called Yaeis, because of your great courage! And if any Tuskaninny ever needs help, they will put their trust in you!'

I was really happy and touched by his words. Yaeis means 'great courage' in the Maraquan language.

I stayed in touch with the king, and we became good friends. A few years ago, when he felt he was getting old, he crowned me king of all Tuskaninnies!"

Yaeis shut up for a moment, and then looks you in the eyes.

'Do you believe me now?'

'Yes, yes, I believe you! What an amazing story!'

'Good. Farewell, friend!'

The great king jumps back into the water and leaves you alone, standing on the cliffs.

'What an amazing person', you think, when you look at the sea one last time...
