 Pet Name: Koivoi Owner: lupegirl10811 Breed: Koi About Koivoi: I sat on the warm sandy beach of Mystery Island,caught up in an excellent novel. The sky was a clear blue, not a cloud insight, and most of the tourists were on the other end of the beach leaving me in perfect silence. "Kori! Are you gonna read all day,or are you gonna watch me!?!" a voice far off into the distance of the water called. Well, except for that. I looked up from my book to where the voice had come from. Watching me was a saphire blue Koi, with a crooked smile and laughing eyes."Koivoi, I can't watch you ALL day!" I shouted back with a laugh. It was true. For a good portion of the morning, all I had been doing was watching the little blue Koi dance and dip in the water. But it never was good enough for my little Koi. He was a peformer at heart and grew irratated if I wasn't watching him all of the time. Always thinking I would miss something important. His grin grew and he answered,"That's what you think!" Typical reply. Koivoi would never give up until you caved. He was like that. But he had other qualities too. For starters, his heart couldn't be bigger. He was always rushing to help whoever was in need, no matter who they were. Sometimes he ran quick runs for the Air Faerie, or once even Queen Fyora herself! Koivoi was also understanding. You could talk to him about anything and he would be the perfect listener. He was sweet,and lovable, but his best little talent was making people laugh. It was like a hobby of his. Wherever we went,he was determined to get everyone to smile. But he's not perfect,mind you. Koivoi's got pleanty of good qualities,but that doesn't mean he doesn't have some bad ones too. Like his worst,is being stubborn. Once he's made up his mind,there's no changing it,which makes him absouletely impossible! And in any conversation,he has to be competitive. He's always got to have the last word in. Sometimes people don't even notice,but I sure do. But overall,the little guy isn't so bad. He's done his share of babysitting CherubSpy and has always been ready to help do any chore. He takes good care of Tropical,and even helps with his siblings petpets from time to time too. His passion is peforming though. Mostly while swimming. He loves to give a good show,and sometimes I can't even tell if he's the ocean or not because they blend so well. But he has to have an audience though, so there's always got to be someone to watch him. "Out of the water" I said to him with a smile. "We've got to be heading back home." Koivoi looked at me with big innocent blue eyes and asked in a gentle tone,"Aww,five more minutes?" Oh yeah,that was another of the 'not so good' qualities. You could never drag him out of the water. Ever. Five minutes became ten, ten to twenty. And well,you get the idea. But those eyes,simply unresistable."Oh all right." I replied sitting back down. At least maybe now I could finish that book.
