 Pet Name: Kyubikun Owner: kyubichan Breed: Kyrii About Kyubikun: Midday. The sun shines brightly, its searing heat making the wind dry. In the middle of the Lost Desert, somewhere between Sakhmet and Qasala, a long way far off from Sutek's Tomb, there lies a stretch of land that is avoided by many travelers. Even clouds avoid passing by this unforgiving terrain, yet two little specks can be observed from afar: a blue Kyrii wanders through the desert, as his rather aggressive Walking Carpet walks by his side. "Is that it? Is that Coltzan's Shrine?", the Kyrii says out loud, running towards what looks like a tall tower-like structure. The Walking Carpet doesn't bother to run after him, and instead snarls at the Burnt Sutek Muffin sticking out of the hot desert sand. It tries to dig up the dehydrate morsel of food, mistaking it for a petpetpet that is out for an ambush. Meanwhile, the Kyrii reaches the "tower", but finds that it is nothing more than a mirage, created by the water evaporating from a well. It wasn't the Shrine, but the Kyrii was relieved to see the well, as his supply of fresh water was running low. He looks in, and his petpet does so too; "Hmm... that's strange... there are maple leaves in here, but ~ ", the Kyrii wonders out loud; he looks around him, in all four directions, yet there was nothing but massive sand dunes in sight, and a few thriving palm trees. His name is Kyubikun, quite a bold young fellow, he would rather go on adventures on the Lost Desert, or up to the Ice Caves, than train at the Battledome, or go to the Academy. He makes it a point to visit the Lost City of Geraptiku once a week, to hike up to Jelly World for a spoonful of jelly, or to take a trip to Tyrannia, leaving no stone unturned, no new omelette uneaten; and he always brings along his petpet, Fluffy, much to the little one's chagrin. Kyubikun returns from these adventures with Neopoints and various items, some of them rare and valuable, but most are just junk. He doesn't mind though, he likes to keep them just to remind him of his adventures, although his Safety Deposit Box is getting filled up fast by numerous "keepsakes". The blue Kyrii usually returns unscathed from his trips, but other times, he encounters a few predicaments, like accidentally waking up the Snowager, or getting lost in the Deserted Tomb. Kyubikun reminds undaunted, going on his daily adventures despite his master's warnings. "...yeah, I know, we should head back," the Kyrii says as his petpet snarls at him; "Er~ wait... I think I got us lost." Kyubikun looks around, realizing that every sand dune in sight is almost identical to the ten others nearby; but after a few moments, he looks at Fluffy, and exclaims triumphantly, "You know what~ never mind. She'll find us wherever we are." And of course, as always, I will.
