 Pet Name: skweack Owner: ille3 Breed: Meerca About skweack: "Mommy, I don't want to be a pteri anymore!" My pteri had been relentlessly chirping these words for the past two weeks and it had been driving me crazy. "Listen Skweack," I said to him. "You've wanted to be an Ogrin, Grarrl, and a Moehog all in the past week." Skweack groaned, "I know Mom. I know, but all the other Pteri have been complaining because I'm bigger than them." "Well," I said. "That's because you were originally a Kacheek, and Kacheeks are usually a lot bigger than Pteri." Skweack flopped down onto my head, "How about this, if you transform me one more time I'll never complain again!" I rolled my eyes, and then said. "Fine! I'll do it one more time, but if you complain, even once, I'll get a Uni morphing potion and don't think I wont use it!" "Really! Cool, I wanna be a Mutant Meerca. PLEASE!!!" I was instantly taken aback, I had never considered owning a mutant before, I had heard they were mean, scary, and usually drooled a lot. "Come on Mom! You said! I know you're not to keen on mutants, you always edge around them whenever we see one." I flinched, I knew he was right, but I had made a promise. So the next day I went out and got a Meerca Transmogrification potion and a Green Uni Morphing Potion, because I knew it wouldn't last long. I took it home, and Skweak flew up into my face. "Do you got it? Do you got it?" He asked. "Yes, yes." I replied while handing him the Transmogrification potion, he snatched it out of my hand and started to pour it down his beak. It instantly started to change him, his tail became long and grayish blue, his wings slumped and became clawed hands, and his body became fluffy and round. Once he was finished, he smiled back at me with a large fanged smile and said in a deep throaty voice. "Thank you!" He gave me a very large hug, and to my surprise his fur was as soft as neocotton and he was even rather cute. That night, I went to sleep and he curled up against me just as he did when he was a Kacheek or a Pteri, and to my surprise he didn't drool. The next day, we went to Neopia Central, and I held my breath, because I expected that any moment he would say something like, "I wanna be a Cybunny." or "Can you paint me Glowing?" But to my surprise, he didn't. Instead he just went around with his Blue Techo Plushie, asking other neopets if they wanted to play. Most of them just screamed and ran away, but it didn't seem to matter to him and after awhile he just did it for fun. Not to mention we got the book store all to ourselves. It was quite a while before somebody didn't run away from, and it happened to be a green Usul."Hi there,I used to be a mutant." She said, "Isn't it fun to scare neopets?" Skweak asked. "Sure is , but why don't they understand mutants are friendly?" The Usul replied. "Well I guess you have to be one before you know any different."
