Krawk Island By Tampternite30490

I was surfing on Neopets one day,
When I saw to my dismay,
Of Maraqua there was no more,
Only the barren sea floor

Destroyed by a whirlpool they said,
Destroyed while I was in bed,
Destroyed by a pirate captain,
What a terrible thing to happen

But now there is a new place,
To there I immediately race,
To discover it's called Krawk Island,
I wonder what I will find then,

Deckswabber is a new game,
To there the Blumaroo came,
I feel sorry for him,
To swab decks must be grim

If you score three hundred or higher,
An item of brand new attire,
Called a Dubloon will most certainly appear,
In your inventory, where it will always be near

Now these Dubloons, you see,
Can be exchanged at the Dubloon-O-Matic for free
Exchange ones for twos and fives for tens
And when you get more, you do it again

There really is so much to see,
Now off to the Swashbuckling Academy,
For Dubloons my pets can train,
There go my Dubloons, down the drain

All in all, Krawk Island is a blast,
My time there goes way too fast,
Although I wish Maraqua was there,
Instead of a whirlpool, swirling and bare

Swamp Ghoul By Schnozenator

Twas a gloomy night,
In the Haunted Wood.
Everyone was in bed,
As they should.
The Witch had stopped brewing,
For the night.
The Esophagor was asleep,
Discontinuing his blight.
Alone we stood,
My Neopet and me,
In the shadow of
A spooky tree.
We were traing hard,
For when the day come,
We'd be challenging the Brain Tree
At the great Battledome.
A puff of smoke,
And there he stood,
A glowing green figure,
Face hidden by a hood.
His shrieking laugh
Filled us both with fright,
We started to run
Anywhere was alright.
A sudden tug,
Yanked me back,
The glowing green ghost
Had caught onto my pack!
He unzippped the zip
Opened it wide,
Peered into the pocket
To see what he would find.
He pulled out my ice cream
The one I was saving
For when my pet and I
Had finished our training.
He disappeared again
In a puff of smoke,
That smelt so horrible
It made us choke.
I felt rather lucky
As we dusted ourselves off,
For many other victims
Had lost much more precious stuff....

When the Tide Turns:
A Koi's Tale of Malice and Mystery

By Holy_smeg1

As I was a-visiting ol' Krawk Isle,
I met a pirate with a toothless smile.
He beckoned to me, and when I drew near
His smile turned into a nasty leer.
"You're smart to 'ave left your Maraqua home
By morn it'll only be driftwood an' foam.
The wreckage'll wash up onto these shores,
An' I'll laugh an' stamp on what used to be yours!
It will happen, as sure as the mad water churns.
When the tide turns, boy, when the tide turns."

I looked at the pirate with scorn on my face.
"The lies you tell are quite a disgrace!
Maraqua was as bright as a silver Dubloon
When I left it only this afternoon.
Yet you claim that it will no longer exist,
So on your nose, I'll punch my fist!"
The old pirate winked and cackled with glee
"Just wait," he said, "Just wait and see!
Naught but a whirlpool will be found
Where once your dwelling was safe and sound.
Yes, when the tide turns, my fishtailed friend,
Your home will meet a watery end."

I turned and walked away from him
I thought, "Back to Maraqua I'll swim.
How could such a terrible thing arise
In front of the fishfolks' very eyes?"
I heard the ol' pirate's voice call to me
And it echoed across the treacherous sea.
"It will happen, as sure as the mad water churns.
When the tide turns, boy, when the tide turns."

Faerieland By O_my_gawd

In the Healing Springs
There you'll find
A cure for your pet
Of every kind

In the Book Shop
Every precious page
Is full of wisdom
Without the age

What's this, can you hear?
Shouts screams & general cheer
In the distance can you see
Poogles racing 1 2 3

A honeyed smell fills the air
Come on, go look over there
In the food shop lots of scrumy,
Treats for your neopets, YUMMY

Within the city
Flittering around
Faeries fluttering
Far above the ground

Delicate, winged
Calm and sensational
Elegant, mystic
Enchanting and beautiful

Dark Faerie Light Faerie
Earth and Air Faerie
Fire Faerie Water Faerie
Battle, Space and Negg Faerie

FAERIELAND'S A TRUE FAERIE TALE

Revenge By Issytheprotector

T'was a chilling night in June
When silhouetted by the moon,
I accosted my opponent in the dome
To me he gave a bow
Which I replied to with a scowl
Reflecting on all the things he'd stolen
Thinking of my newly plundered book
I fixed him with a look
That set his blue hued chin aquiver,
Then I lashed out with my sword
The mighty beast let out a roar
That made me wonder
Just how badly I had hurt him.
With vengeance in his eye
He yelled out with an awful cry
And a let loose a stream of bubbles from a gun
I reflected them with a shield,
Then decided I should wield
A bottle with a red and glowing substance.
I threw the fire snow,
With a hard and lengthy throw
To my delight the devil fell to the ground.
He zapped me with a Lightning Beam
To which I replied with an icy stream
Of black hued snow from my frost cannon.
The creature crumpled to the ground,
There was cheering all around
My revenge on the Pant Devil was complete!
