The Junk Prizes
by Gwinvere

Through dailies and exploring,
Each Neopian can agree,
The prizes we dislike the most
End at the roots of The Money Tree.

From soggy old boots to sunburnt food,
And books every Neopet has read,
We all hope that our luck will change
In the future as we go to bed.

Yet day after day follows,
As we brave icy beasts
And The Forgotten Shore,
All we find are junk items
That we can barely get to sell in our store.

Yet, I encourage this to you, my friends,
As you round up your goods to give away,
Why not think that this so-called junk
Is really not a blessing each day?

Is a cheap keychain not better
Than a barrage of frozen ice,
Or a single increase in level
Than losing all by a roll of dice?

I hope that you can see it my way someday,
Unless you have one bad thing I can name.
Blurred Vision from a seemingly harmless
Apple bobbing game.

The Dice Of Bilge
by Hummerthug

Oh Bilge Dice, how I loathe thee,
I play your game again and again,
My opponents score twenty-threes
And I score tens,
Not a score of ten when it comes to a streak,
Not even better than three straight this week

Your avatar is the most elusive of all,
Ten straight victories are what is required,
Perhaps one user will obtain you this fall,
The rest of us will only obtain ire,
Oh look, I've scored twenty-three!
And two of my opponents
Have twenty-four, I see...

This month I tried for your two trophies,
One of them I did not find hard,
I've collected many a trophy, you see,
But then my luck was marred
I won five games straight and, without a lie,
My fortune promptly ended in a tie

Right away I have my one and my four!
Now just sixes are what I need,
But it seems my die
Do not have a sixth side anymore,
And my opponent has a twenty-four, indeed
That avatar I may just never see
Oh Bilge Dice, how I loathe thee!

Wonderful Wands
by Choopinho

Wands are wonderful,
you should get one for your 'pet,
they can be used in customizations
or in a Battledome set.

Wands are magic,
they have a lot of power,
they can make you fly
and climb the highest tower.

You can do tricks,
teleport from there to here,
you can make magic,
you can even disappear.

They can throw flowers,
they can shine and glow,
they can throw sparks,
they can even make it snow.

There are some magic words,
a sentence or a song,
say them and shake the wand,
but you'd better not say it wrong.

You can travel around the world
and have your own magic show,
you could teach your friends
or maybe no.

Magicians don't reveal their secrets,
you can beg, you can ask,
but their friends will understand
magicians never show
what is behind the mask.

Dice-A-Roo
by Ashebaby12

Been playing Dice-A-Roo
For seven days straight,
Can't stop even though it is so late.

Level up this time and feeling so lucky,
Pot gets cut in half and feeling yucky.

Big win, oh yes! This might be your day.
You just cannot walk away.

On a roll, let's go, time to win,
When you hear a Blumaroo
Speaking from within.

Blumaroo, I do not care what you have to say,
All I want to do is play.

Medium win, feeling good,
Start to celebrate before you should.

Then comes a big loss,
So you say just one more toss.

Green dice,
This is nice.

Just won a treat,
For your Neopet to eat.

Just when you think you are about to stop,
You lose all the Neopoints in your pot.

You spend so many Neopoints you want to cry,
But something tells you to try, try, try.

Yellow dice now, this may be the one,
Before you know it the game is done.

You have spent too much time
On this game, by far,
All to get that one avatar.

Press me, press me, to try once more,
Watch your Neopoints go out the door.

Just once would like to win the jackpot,
To pay for all those items you bought.

Then, suddenly, your 'pet gets bored,
Starts to say he feels ignored.

You start to feel full of sorrow,
'Cause you won't be able to play till tomorrow!

Where Even The Dishwater Is Magical
by Gundam_grl

What was once south of Meridell
10,000 feet into the clouds,
Is now a recovering city
Determined to make Neopia proud.

A place where faeries
Are free from bottles and globes,
And Neopets aren’t shy to show off
Their faerie wardrobes.

Where a poor, lonely Grundo plushie
Was discarded,
And where the Tower of treasures
Is hidden and guarded.

A magical place where
The beautiful Fyora was crowned,
And her tales of vanquishing
The Darkest Faerie are renowned.

Stay clear of Jhudora,
Who lives in her green and purple cloud,
She often complains about
The Poogle Racing cheers being too loud.

Where the Rainbow Fountain water
Is in endless supply,
Once you’re here,
You’ll never want to say good-bye.

Come here,
Rather than places with beaches and sand.
Deep down, you’ll find your inner faerie,
Here in Faerieland.
