FYORA DAY SPECIAL

Candy Fyora Wings
by Flufflepuff

The day the sky, instead of blue,
Is purple, lilac, pink,
Neopians all hail their queen
And every glass does clink.

The changed expanse does represent
Her pow’r and calm alike.
Even Fyora’s enemies
Refuse to plot or strike.

Those swift and able rush to seize
The chance to try lush treats
Available on Fyora’s Day:
The most complex of sweets.

Blends of bitter, rich and sweet
Are restocked and set out,
But such fare comes with a high price
And so, some do without.

The latter group need not despair,
Because a simple snack,
Specifically, pink candy wings
(Not those on Fyora’s back!)

Are more widely available.
This treat contains a charm,
Which causes joyous flutters when
They’re eaten. They’ve no harm.

Some say that price tags equal worth,
But that may not be true.
The candy wings are small tokens
Of joy for me and you.

Said wings contain the blessings from
The gracious Faerie Queen.
They linger after their wings fly
Where they cannot be seen.

The wings are a reminder that,
After sweet things are gone,
A trace of Fyora here and there
Shall always rest upon

Everything the great and small
Alike have in their reach.
These candy wings are not just treats:
They also serve to teach.

Fyora And Xandra
by Dr_tomoe

She was her top pupil
in learning magic and spells;
little did Fyora know
she'd be the reason Faerieland fell.

Now, the years have passed,
The Faeries Ruin has ended,
but there are some things
that just cannot be mended.

The Wraiths may be beaten
and the guards have a new captain,
And it's marked as one of the
darkest moments of Fyora's reign.

She's now a statue in her garden
and Fyora can try as she might,
but Xandra still believes
that her ideals were right.

She'll see Xandra's statue daily
And visit for at least an hour
Before Fyora leaves her garden
to keep watch from her tower.

Perhaps in time it can be repaired,
the bond between student and teacher,
but all Fyora can do now
is try to make things safer.

My Artful Fyora Sidewalk Chalk Bucket
by Sugarypixiestix2

With summer just around the corner,
spring has turned into a foreigner,
which means my front yard is free
of any sort of disruption or debris.

So, I collect all my sidewalk chalk,
wanting to create art on my block.
Fyora's image on my bucket gleams
with a rich colour of violet creams.

Today, in honour of the Faerie Queen,
I shall draw her in a royal scene,
full of fair magic on the sidewalk,
making my neighbours curiously gawk.

The sun radiates bright rays on me,
making the clouds flee so I can see.
It's as if Fyora knows of my plan
and is helping me however she can.

As I finish, I do hope she approves
of my rendition on her noble moves.
This bucket of chalk is empty now,
but it was worth it and this I vow.

Fyora Dolls
by Fairyxhearts

In a magical land of tall, graceful towers
And a winged people of fantastic powers
Soars a great, gleaming purple city
Known to all Neopia to be quite pretty.

Here, a certain elite shop is said to stand
Invisible and sell pricey items most grand --
A shop kept by Fyora, the Faerie Queen
Herself and where she can often be seen.

There are three types of Queen Fyora dolls
That may very well be among one's goals
Of purchase, should one strive and dare
To find and venture one's way there.

The Reject Faerie Queen Doll is unique
Enough to attract and, therefore, pique
Some's interest via her
Piercing, if one-eyed, stare
Despite the tangle and knot
Of her long, lilac hair.

More popular, though, is the Faerie Queen Doll,
Whose two big, amethyst eyes most extol,
In addition to her wrinkle-free purple gown
And intact sparkling crystal crown.

The Supreme Deluxe Faerie Queen Doll is
Most expensive, but still provides much biz
For Fyora as many a Neopian does drool
Over her hair and wardrobe and call her cool.

Whichever of these three may be one's type,
One can know that
A shop visit's worth the hype
And may well result in
One's leaving with a ware
That one will happily love and for whom care.

Fyora's Lament
by Crk524

The sun slants through the windows
As, into dusk, day fades.
I climb the steps, like every night
The stairwell cast in shade.

And up to my dark garden
Where aurora lilies grow,
Where countless seeds have woken
That I planted long ago.

I placed you by the balcony,
I hoped you’d like the scene:
The vast fields of Neopia,
A view fit for a queen.

And every night I dare to hope
A change has taken place,
But the same old stony scowl
Always greets me on your face.

Yet still, I sit beside you
On the soft and yielding grass.
I recount what’s going on below
And tales of eras past.

The sun, it sets with glory,
Red and gold, they bathe the clouds
So different now I’m underneath
Than when we floated proud.

Is this what you were trying to say?
That, up high in our city,
We lost touch with the land and sea,
This world that we so pity?

Night spreads her blanket ‘cross the land,
Lets fall her rain of stars,
I see them now more clearly
Though they’re hopelessly far.

With you, I’m not a monarch,
The land’s my only throne,
My echoed voice the only sound
And yet, I’m not alone.

Xandra, I know that you can hear me,
Though I’m not sure if you care.
It’s late when I must turn away
And start back down the stairs.

Your silhouette is silent,
Darkened by Kreludor’s light.
Has your fiery rage begun to wane
With the coolness of these nights?

What use is all my magic
If still I cannot mend
The darkness deep inside your heart,
My student and my friend?

Queen Fyora
by Trubiekatie

We all know and love our dear faeries,
Once with their home way above our skies.
When the city fell to Neopia below,
They all looked to her to see how she’d advise.

Fyora has led the faeries for years,
Yet helped Neopia with her judgment, too,
Locking away the Darkest Faerie years ago
To avoid the mayhem
That would, no doubt, ensue.

I can’t imagine what would have happened
If Brynn and Hanso hadn’t intervened.
Perhaps Faerieland, and Neopia
Would be controlled by some monstrous fiend.

Instead of chaos, Fyora treats all patrons well,
With umpteen different activities for us to do.
She has her own specialty game, a shop,
Quests, and hosts the Faerie Festival, too.

Her items are much too expensive, I admit,
For they cost millions of Neopoints to buy.
With some luck, she might
Spot you walking around
And give a hefty discount for which to apply.

It is an amazement she has time at all
To tend to her many roles across the lands.
No wonder, then,
Why all the faeries look to her,
And follow the leadership of her commands.

Dress Up Like Fyora
by Jo_eccentric

I want to be like Fyora,
A queen so elegant.
Flying through Faerieland,
Gracefulness is evident.

These Faerie Queen Wings,
The perfect ones for me.
They're fancy and delicate,
I'm already filled with glee!

Fyora's Eyeshadow paints my lids
A beautiful purple hue.
It looks just like Fyora's,
The colour's just so true!

Fyora Wig sits on my head,
A beautiful crown as well.
No strand of hair is out of place,
No need for any hair gel.

Fyora's Collectors Staff and Dress
Are not for show no more.
I wear the dress, hold the staff.
Oh Fyora -- I do adore!

In front of Fyora's castle,
I stand so very proud.
"IT'S FYORA DAY, FINALLY!"
I scream from here out loud.

Fyora's Burritos
by Dreamingone

There's something amiss
In Faerieland's realm.
Too many burritos are missing,
Eaten by the one at the helm.

Fyora looks gorgeous
In a pretty pink gown.
Her artifacts are powerful,
Her hair is always neat.

She looks posh and pretty,
Always in control,
The Faerie Queen --
A graceful, ageless soul,

But looks are deceiving,
And everyone knows that
There's a deep secret
About where her NP goes.

You think you know Fyora,
But there's more you don't know.
She has this powerful craving,
For burritos, soft and fresh.

If you come at mealtime,
You'll find Faerieland's queen,
Munching on burritos
While sitting on her throne.

She's known as soft and gracious,
And perhaps her reputation due,
To her habit of unwinding
With a burrito, tasty and warm.

Queen Fyora
by Our_teardrops

Even with the fall of Faerieland,
Oh mighty Queen Fyora still stands.

Now living on the surface of Neopia,
All the faeries begin rebuilding their utopia.

The most powerful faerie alive --
Dangerous, graceful, and kind,
Her kingdom will always survive.

She rules with a gentle hand
Over all the faeries she commands.

If she calls upon you for your help,
It will be the most honor you ever felt.
Her requests are often beyond measures,
But she’ll bestow upon you generous treasures.

You’ll see Fyora in her regal crown,
With her staff and royal gown.
The fairest faerie one has ever seen,
She most certainly is the Faerie Queen.

She sells her most powerful
Artifacts for Faerieland.
Imagine all those
Supreme weapons in your hand!
You can exchange your wealth
For potent power,
But first, you’ll have to find her Hidden Tower.

If you've never heard of Queen Fyora’s story,
I suggest you go and learn of her all glory!

Fyora's Vigil
by Heroed

Though Faerieland has been destroyed,
The Faerie Queen stands ever-tall,
Directing 'pets she has employed
To reconstruct the crumbled wall.

For an example must be set
Of strength of dedication
And each new challenge must be met
With fresh determination.

For, Queen Fyora ever-wise
Knows there must be another threat,
And underneath the sunny skies
There will be greater danger yet.

Some 'pets are overcome by hate,
This is the pattern she has seen,
And so she stays to watch and wait
The great Fyora, Faerie Queen.
