AISHA DAY SPECIAL

Alien Aisha Adventuring
by Fleurdust

Six ears, two eyes, a helmet globe,
A coat of lustrous green.
A rather fetching spacesuit, yes!
An Alien Aisha -- that's me!

I'll take you for a jaunty flight
'Round Neopia's only moon,
To see the sunset over Kreludor
And race over some space dunes.

Then it's twice around the Space Station.
Hold on tight to your socks!
Dodge left, then right, and--ARGH!
Phew! Just missed those flying rocks!

Oh no! We're taking fire... eek!
An evil minion of Sloth!
Look out! We must escape, or else
He'll surely zap us both!

With some quick manoeuvring
We're soon out of the way.
Perhaps you'd prefer a quieter pastime,
Like gardening or crochet?

Let's head up to the Vending Machine
To spend some hard-earned Nerks.
If I get one more Banana Lice Cream
I'll get a little irked.

It's been a tiring Aisha Day,
So much to see and do!
Just one more stop on Kreludor
For a can of diet doom.

I'm off home to my own planet now,
With its five suns shining bright.
And like my favourite mr.coconut,
All I'll say is: GOOD NIGHT!

The Purple Dress
by Choquis

Ears of pink and locks of gold
brush against her face.
A dress of royal amethyst hue
swirls with such grace.

None can match the beauty of
the royal Aisha’s dance.
Each move: an image of the queen’s
simple elegance.

With such finesse she makes her steps,
skirt sways to and fro.
Moves into a pirouette;
billowing, it blows.

The Aisha’s talent’s known to all,
many envy she,
but without her favorite purple dress
who would this Aisha be?

My Uncanny Ghostly Floating Aisha Head
by Sugarypixiestix2

I bought it from the Gypsy Camp,
since the gypsies had a revamp.
They were changing their decor
and had even remade every door.

At first I thought it was fake,
but I soon realised my mistake.
One rainy evening it called me,
telling me what it can foresee.

It spoke with an ancient accent,
with a tone of puzzling lament.
This floating Aisha was surreal,
she proved to be the real deal.

My heart began to beat so fast,
all of it was making me aghast.
Could this actually be my fate,
or was it just something I ate?

When it had finished my reading,
no part of it seemed misleading.
After that I heeded its words,
like a flock of obedient birds.

Enchantress Of The Forest
by Flufflepuff

Though few can tell upon first walk,
The trees of Meridell
Are churning with serenity
To form their own sweet spell.

As such, the boughs, the soil, the air
Are humming, but the sound
Is registered as little more
Than Symols underground.

Famed Illusen herself did take
Some scores of walks before
She heard the sound the forests made
And stayed forevermore.

Not so an Aisha, whose powers
Ranked far above her kin --
To her, the whispers of the grove
Screamed in harmonious din.

Th’ enchantress called out to the green,
Which bent to her thin voice.
The Aisha smiled and waved a paw --
It signified her choice.

At once, the air grew thick with life,
Some boughs were rent in twain
To help create a wooden throne
And mark her new domain.

Contentedly, she sat as keeper
Of the Sacred Grove.
‘Twas hidden: only those with ears
Would find her treasure trove.

But is that truly what you seek?
So starved for company
Is she that those who enter shan’t,
Without her leave, go free....

The Alien Vending Machine
by Dr_tomoe

From beyond the stars
the Alien Aishas came
with their vast array
of vending machines.

These mysterious machines
require a Nerkmid to work,
which is easy enough to find
by beating the Jetsam Ace into the dirt.

Just put one of these
star-shaped wonders inside,
then push the buttons
to hear the machine come to life!

A whirr and a spin
and a few puffs of blue and green,
and out will come some wonderful
Gross Food from the vending machine!

They might seem strange,
being made of slime and fungus,
but to Alien Aishas
these meals are all delicious!

Of course, with how popular it is,
inevitably it will run dry.
When that happens, a paint brush might fall out --
but please, don't cry!

You'll get a new chance
at Alien Aisha cuisine;
just get another Nerkmid
and put it into the machine.

The Aisha Who Runs The Collectable Sea Shells Shop
by Martia_elior

In one of Maraqua's deepest corners
There's a shell that houses a peculiar shop;
The lady inside really knows good manners
And sells great treasures, serving non-stop!

Once you enter the always-open shop door,
You have to go up some stairs to admire
All the valuable shells she has in store,
Especially the ones with a perfect spire.

Many of them have beautiful, bright pigments,
From light blue to gold, orange, and purple.
She also sells some jewellery like pendants,
rings, diadems, brooches, and even a bangle.

The Collectable Sea Shells Shopkeeper's
A Maraquan Aisha whose name is unknown.
She loves to help all the possible buyers
Suggesting the jewel with the right gemstone
(For them).

This lady also sells some coins of the deep,
Which have the dark blue shades of the sea;
Not all these Maractite pieces are very cheap,
But with 10,000 NPs you can get two or three.

It's up to you to choose what you prefer,
If sea shells, coins, or a sparkly jewel.
"So, what does it suit your album better?
Quick, offer your Neopoints and be careful!

There are other customers who are ready to buy
Your same treasure before you can even decide!"
The Maraquan Aisha says and she doesn't lie.
So, choose the item that can be your pride,

And display it in your album so that everyone
Can see what can be called a real bargain!

Alien Aishas
by 9731533

The skies above Neopia
Stretch out, filled with stars,
The Alien Aishas zoom across
In their rockets, near and far.

Sweeping through space,
Past Sloth's station home,
The Alien Aishas give a wave
To the ever-busy Grundos.

Looking down over Neopia,
The sky alive with lights,
For all are celebrating Aisha Day;
The festivities will last the night.

The happy Alien Aishas
Drop their Nerkmids everywhere.
For some lucky Neopians,
An avatar could be theirs.

Whatever you have planned
On this festive Aisha Day,
Remember the amazing aliens
In their rockets, far away.

Happy Aisha Day!

Alien Aisha Lament
by Indulgences

The Aisha is a darling 'pet,
So lovely, small, and fine.
The alien is also cool.
Its looks are so divine!

I wonder, though, why TNT
Did not preserve its stance.
The alien, converted, has
A quadro countenance!

It stands on all four paws instead
Of standing on two feet.
Although I love the alien,
My love is bittersweet!

I must admit, I wish it stood
Upright on its hind feet.
I love all anthro forms of 'pets.
I think they're rather neat!

So, here's my ode to aliens.
They bring me loads of joy.
Although I wished they stood upright,
Their good looks I enjoy!

Haikus In Remembrance Of The Court Dancer
by Artemisiac

1.
A pretty Aisha,
a pretty dancer. Look at
how I dance and sing.

2.
Don't be afraid, dear,
listen to my tambourine!
A song for our king.

3.
A brown Aisha, a
purple Aisha? What is this?
I thought you were kind.

4.
Break the spell, break the
illusion. Oh dear Aisha,
how you changed my mind.

5.
Lisha spoke the truth.
Disappear away from us,
leave our royal land.

6.
Oh pretty dancer,
how could you have hurt us so?
I'll never understand.

Culture Clash
by Pikapi20

"I believe I have the answer,"
the Aisha did propose
as, all around, his colleagues
did look terribly morose.
Unafraid, he went on, enthusiastic as ever.
Ignoring the "Oh no"s
and occasional "Why, never."

"For years we have studied
and upon a time theorised
why our alien brethren
love food full of bugs and eyes.
We researched their culture,
explored if it were a bad joke
but what if, say..." he paused,
sticking out his tongue for a poke.

"Of course!" cried out
an older Aisha scientist wildly,
"Their taste buds must be different to ours."
The crowd clapped loudly.
When the applause died down,
she became much more reticent.
"How do you plan to prove your theory...
an experiment?"

The male Aisha smiled; his friends
were in the palm of his paw,
but there was no need to convince them
with shock and / or awe.
"We did the research we need on this
many years ago.
All we need now is funding --
and for you all to be pro."

And so it came to pass, on a warm Neopia day,
the group set out to find if their big idea was nay.
Converging on a vending machine,
their hosts were bemused.
The headgear of the crowd's leader
had left them most confused.

Proudly, the Aisha opened his mouth
to show off his tongue --
that was covered in shiny gizmos
from the Space Station.
He said that it was for tasting,
but it came out muffled,
leaving the two Alien Aishas
perplexed and puzzled.

A Nerkmid was put in the slot
and the lever pulled down,
before a Gross Food popped out
in the centre of the town.
The Aisha picked up the item
and, while eating it, did revel --
that did not last;
his happiness going down a level.

Coughing and spluttering,
the Aisha pulled off his headgear
as his colleagues sighed. Back to the drawing board -- as they had feared.
Looking at his hosts, he asked,
"How can you eat food this vile?"
All the sympathetic aliens offered was a smile.
