CHIA DAY SPECIAL

Chia Day Q&A
by Supsujums

What does it mean to be a Chia?
A Chia is very unique.
They may not be so popular,
But they're more fun than you think!

What is it like to own a Chia?
Chias are caring and loving and kind.
They may not be a Lenny,
But they've got quite a marvelous mind!

What's so special about a Chia?
A Chia's far more unique than a Lupe.
They can be turned into every veggie,
Just please don't make yours into a soup.

What colors can you make a Chia?
Peas, carrots, onions, and berries.
Peaches, apples, grapes, and peppers,
And, of course, Darigans and faeries!

How can I make my Chia happy?
Go to the Snow Food shop!
You may have to refresh
About ten thousand times,
But it's worth it to get a Chia pop!

What does a Chia like to do?
Why, almost anything you'd like!
Flying kites baking muffins, hide and seek,
Skipping stones or riding a bike.

So, how do you get your very own Chia?
Just go to the adoption page!
I know they're not everyone's favorite,
But on Chia Day they're all the rage!

Chiazilla: A Story Untold
by Drewcr55

Shrouded in obscurity,
They regard me with fear,
Enveloped in a mysterious legend,
My story is yet to be told.

Stories passed down,
Truth lost in time,
I’m suddenly a monster,
A fable so cold.

Faith all but vanished,
Nevertheless, I know my worth,
Predator to them,
Guardian is my true role.

I defended with passion,
The royal family was my own,
I didn’t need a bounty,
Protecting was in my soul.

My return is inevitable,
Untruths will fade away,
Mystery Island needs me,
Chiazilla, the protector.

Chias... yum!
by Dr_tomoe

Although it's Chocolate Chia Day,
don't hold yourself to one flavor.
There are plenty of tasty Chias
out there for you to savor.

Apple Chias keep the doctors away
and pea Chias can help you fly!
Aparagus Chias go well in Borovan
and mutant Chias are yuck, don't even try.

Gooseberry Chias are quite tasty
and avocado Chias are a nice snack.
Gooseberry Chias are all-around yummy,
but durian Chias might bite back.

Thornberry Chias need to be handled with care
and Strawberry Chias are better on the vine.
Grape Chias are best in a bunch
and pear Chias just taste divine!

Peach Chias are plump and sweet
and glowing Chias taste kind of neat.
Pineapple Chias have a tropical flair
and onion Chias are good for your hair!

Plum Chias are juicy and rare
and carrot Chia's can help you see;
pepper Chias are a spicy meal
and lemon and lime help prevent scurvy!

With so many flavors in Neopia
with colors all over, with fruits to boot,
is there really any mystery
why Chias are the favorite foods of Lupes?

My Zesty Chia Yummy Mustard
by Sugarypixiestix2

I eat it with all of my meals,
especially on my potato peels.
It is such a versatile spread
that goes on any kind of bread.

Ketchup is not really the best
on hot dogs, that I've assessed.
Chia mustard is the way to go,
even if you like to chew snow.

When opening up the bottle-cap,
the yummy flavours will unwrap.
You'll want to try it quickly
and press it out very thickly.

Each bottle looks like a Chia
who is as tasty as a tortilla,
which is such a treat to view
while you're eating your stew.

If you cannot keep it chilled,
this mustard will stay filled.
Even if you live in the desert,
your pantry will be more alert!

Yellow Chia Balloon
by Indulgences

This tiny thing cannot be worn,
And yet, I hold it close.
I hope it's someday wearable.
Till then, I am morose!

So cute and bubbly, floating high,
And tinted yellow, too.
I love its orange feet and hair,
Its smile, a coral hue!

Its eyes are squinted tightly shut,
While mouth is open wide.
It looks like it is laughing hard,
With mirth that won't subside!

This is my favorite item that
Cannot be worn just yet.
I hope, one day, my 'pet will wear
Balloons in groups and sets!

This sweet balloon cannot be worn,
But still, I hope someday
That I can adorn my Neopet
With this balloon that does sway!

The Lonely Onion Chia
by Vinanas

"Never go near him," everybody said.
"You'll cry because of his smell.
With his appearance, your nose will turn red
and I don't think he's nice as well."

All alone in the Haunted Woods
sat the Chia, still hurt.
Unexpected, appeared a group 'pets with hoods
The onion Chia was immediately alert.

"What do you want?" he sobbed.
The covered faces stood in front of him.
"It's not logical that I would be robbed!"
One of the hoods knelt down on a limb.

"Worry not, my dear...
You've got nothing to be afraid of.
Now, wipe away that tear --
we'll cheer you up with love."

The onion Chia looked up and saw friendly eyes,
He saw that they were all edible.
They were Chias in different sizes,
all kinds of fruits and vegetables.

"Today is the day of Chias, darling.
So, stop being sad and come enjoy --
Be happy as an onion can be, poor boy!"

Edible Chias!
by Patspocobars

Whipped cream and sprinkles,
Topping a bouncy, smiley face.
Tumble and hum --
It looks good enough to eat!

Brown and green stalks,
But the smile still shines.
Trip and flop...
I wouldn't eat that!

Bright green and red,
Shiny, sheeny skin.
Slide and skid --
It would burn my tongue!

Layers and dirty white,
Peeling and silky.
Rolly, so cute...
You'd give me bad breath!

Chocolaty Chia, too smooth.
Asparagus Chia, bleh!
Pepper Chia, so hot.
Onion Chia, that burns!

In The Garden
by Kikaijima

In the garden where my friends grow,
An echo of smiles and laughter
Ring through the air,
As colored limbs wave at the words exchanged
And respond in happy chimes.

"Tomatoes are truly the superior vegetable,"
One says with a smug grin, arms crossed proudly.
The others laugh and another pipes up.
"You should know more than anyone
That tomatoes are fruit!"

The Chia gardens are known for these arguments,
But all those who pass and hear
Know these are the bouts of friends.
The carrots nestle in the dirt,
Chatting peacefully with peas.
Blueberries and strawberries
Twist together in dance.

Limes, lemons, and durians, an unlikely group
That plays small tricks on each other in circles.
A plum and an onion waxing poetic toward the sky
About the world beyond the clouds above.

In the garden where my friends grow,
Aubergines, Chokatoes, pineapples, and peppers.
I pass by and hear them
Chat merrily to each other
And smile to myself as I continue on.

The garden where my friends grow
is the garden where friendship itself blooms.

Chocolate Chia Day
by Sarika_ambrielle

Customizing a Chia can be a blast.
Start at the top with a
Hat, take your pick from chocolatier,
Gypsy or lumberjack, which includes a beard.
Of course, perhaps you should
Consider saving up for a
Cape for your super little pea to wrap up in.
Orange Chias look spectacular with
The Cave Chia Cave Collectors Background on.
Likely your boy would relish
Dressing up as a barbarian or rock star,
And if you have a girl
I'm sure she would fancy a cute pink
Tutu or a red hooded cape -- all great ideas.
Either way, that's one spoiled 'pet.

Chias can get lonely, so consider a
Homebody for them.
A gnome is what I recommend,
And they are available
In chocolate, faerie, ice, mutant,
And even a swinging one.
Almost done, last but not least are those feet;

Dress them in a comfy casual
Or stylish checkered shoes.
Above all, please remember, to have fun:
You're only limited by your imagination.

A Chia Day Catastrophe
by Mystie06

Three Lupes see a sign:
Chia Convention Today!
“Let’s go!” they all cry.

In Uni’s Clothing
they buy three Chia costumes.
“We’ll blend right in now!”

At the convention
three Lupes in Chia costumes
arrive and mingle.

“Help! Lupes!” a Chia screams.
They see the three disguised Lupes.
All the Chias run.

“Come back!” the Lupes call.
“We just wanted to wish you
Happy Chia Day!”
