The Battle of Meuka

What a horrible time I’ve had, trying to get you
Through all sorts of diseases, it made me blue;
Finally you appeared from my nose and bade me
I trained so hard, from the Island to the sea.
I knew you would be tough yet you seem soft as goo
With your radio-active muffin and the snot-gun too

I remember the many codestones and hours I trained
I had confidence, “I will beat you!” I proclaimed
I bought a new battle set, grabbed a leaf shield
I came to the Battledome,and knew I wouldn’t yield
You became my challenger, that very day
I thought I would win, so I entered the fray

I fought so hard and fought with all my might
Until I lost, I thought it would be my fight!
I threw those muffins; you hit me with a bang
It was a two second fight and the snot slang.
You were victorious as they all had warned,
But I knew I would be back, I was not scorned.

Five days later I came again - armor equipped
I came so close to you that my stomach flipped
Mucus stung the air; I looked you in the eye
I thought of snot, and got ready to say “goodbye”
Sneak attack! I arose freezing you off your game
A lucky hit and you were down; now who’s lame?

A victory for me, an avatar and trophy
I think about how it will be the same with Sophie
"Bow before me or perish in my stomach!" you cried
Yeah right, I think, I just beat you inside
I beat the snot out of you, meerca mister
And with me? Well, I don’t even have a blister

Meerca Chase: A Memory

I still remember when 
I would love to play
A wonderful game where
I'd chase neggs all day.

A Meerca I was, 
Who's avoiding its tail.
Until I bump into it,
Then I'd let out a wail.

A rainbow of neggs,
All of them were great.
Except for that red;
That one I would hate.

Collect all the neggs,
Fight for a high score.
I do love this game,
I wish I'd play more!
 
This game was the reason
I would log in a play.
Let's play more Meerca Chase,
It's great, don't you say?

Princes of Pranks

Bounces are heard around Neopia, Children and their neopet friends on a moon bounce
A Blumaroo perhaps on a Pogo-Stick, a ball bouncing for a Lupe to chase
Happier times then those often escape me
Yet one of those bounces may be good or bad when it comes from the tail of a bouncing Meerca
You may not hear it, not at first
If you did though check around, your toys or jewels or even purse
For you an annoyance even a hassle
Yet for these little pranksters nothing is more funny to see you bemused and bumbling trying to find what they did
If their is a prank that was done, something just moved, with just a bounce and no other peep
They will play their tricks on all those around
This humble lover of these creatures can't get enough. 
Their long tails and bounce, the woodchuck like teeth, the beady playful gaze, I have a plan that will make all their days.
For the Princes of Pranks deserve only the best, so I bought a small castle where they can play all the pranks they want night and day.

A Meerca Tail

An eager young Meerca sat plotting away
For the big negg race in which he would play
He had his strategy all planned out
To grab all then neggs and win, no doubt!

As he entered the giant Meerca Chase pen
He went over his plan again and again
"Grab everything yellow, avoid all the reds"
Perhaps get lucky with a Fish negg instead

The chase has begun and off he goes
This isn't the time to think about woes
Whipping that long and magnificent tail
Collecting all the neggs in sight to prevail

A blue negg, a green one!
Grabbing everything and then some
And there it appeared, in the corner up high
The coveted Fish Negg, he let out a sigh

Faster he went with excitement and glee
Whipping that tail so happy and free
Swooping in swiftly, he seized it at last!
But didn't realize he turned the corner so fast

Skidding into a cluster of red neggs
He snapped his tail sideways to escape the end
It was too late, game over indeed
But that little Meerca was still happy you see

He reached his goals and got the high score
He kissed his tail and let out a roar
"Victory is mine!" He giggled happily
And then went off to celebrate with his family

Challenge of the Flaming Meerca

There is a challenger known
who has been around since
the very start of the Battledome.

No one knows where he came from
Or why he wants to fight
but the Flaming Meerca is one opponent
Who can always burn bright.

He might seem like a pushover
And not tough to defeat
At least until he starts
to really bring the heat.

Whether using Fire Nunchucks
or his Fire Flying Disc
he isn't being hyperbolic when he claims
he'll burn you to a crisp.

So with his hot demeanor
and his fiery skill range

so try if you're up to the challenge.

It's stitched with golden moons as well.
It's so spectacular!

The cap is bright with aqua hue,
And wig of golden hair.
This cap is shiny, glistening.
This cap's beyond compare.

The gown is also colored blue.
The bodice is bright white.
The waist is cinched with ribbons gold.
This gown's a lovely sight.

The slippers are, I must admit,
Extraordinary things.
Two Cybunnies adorn their fronts.
Their sight will make you grin.

And finally, a mug is held
Within the Meerca's grip.
It looks so warm and comforting,
I openly admit.

Go buy your pet this outfit now!

She'll be so darn adorable,
And elegantly clad!

Beware the Snotty Meerca!

A scary, slimy, sticky mess
And he’s coming your way.
Beware the snotty Meerca,
Or it’ll be your last day.

He leaves a green trail wherever he goes
And his tail is super long.
He sneaks your way without a sound
And his grip is very strong.

Once he has you locked in his tail
He won’t let you go.
You close your eyes and pray for the best
And he swings you to-and-fro.

And when it’s over and you’re covered in slime
All you can do is cry
For when he had you in his grasp
There was only insanity in his eyes.
