She plays to win,
With tiles she snipes.

But a ruckus she stirs.

Kougras are furry and have stripes on their back,
And they love to travel together in a pack.
They also have long and slender striped tails,
Each of which has their own unique details.

They love to visit Mystery Island and explore
The forests, jungles, beaches and the shore.
With their friends, they like to play and fight,
And it is quite an entertaining sight.

Kougras also have teeth that are sharp and white.
When they face their foes, they show off their bite.

For days, weeks, years, it truly feels like millenia,
I've been hiding away in this wee lab, some call it mania,
And I confess, it's been a while since I've seen the light of day,
But this humble invention of mine, keeps all sorrow at bay.

Why don't you come inside, pay this old Kougra a short visit,
I'll show you what's crawling underneath the glass, you can't miss it,
It's a tiny little home, for critters even tinier still.
I call it a Habitarium, where petpetpets come to eat their fill.

Look, it's a Mootix here, burrowing away in its little nest,
It gathers supplies and protects the eggs to its very best.
And over to your left you can find, a Pinchit soldier too,
Fighting with conviction, no intruder will break through.

Last but not least, we have the hardest worker of them all,
The Larnikin is gathering supplies, what an amazing haul!
Our three Petpet friends always work together in unity,
All their efforts, lead to a beautiful community.

Thanks for visiting my tiny little home, we loved having you here,
You say you'll miss us? The feeling's mutual but have no fear,
I hope to bring my invention to every Neopian far and near,

Brynneth the Brave,
My favourite Kougra by far.
She is the truest knight in the land,
And brighter than any star!

When I met her, she arrested me,
I was the thief, she was the knight.
And though we got along great,
We were on opposing sides for life.

And yet, when it mattered the most,
She made the choice to trust me.
And I will always be grateful for her,
That she saw what I couldn’t see.

Though impulsive I can be sometimes,
Brynn always has my back.
Hunting artefacts isn’t easy,
But the two of us have a knack

So Brynn, I hope you see this
And remember, you’re the best!
And whatever the world throws at us,
I know we will pass the test.

A Kougra Is

These big paws were made that way.

A Kougra should be brave and bold,
King of the jungle is a title he will hold. 

A Kougra should never let others down, 
Dependable and loyal are traits of the crown.

A Kougra should not allow himself to fail,
Doing so will make him frail. 

But what if a Kougra is none of these things? 
If instead he surrenders to his feelings? 

If instead he chooses to risk failing to grow?
To learn from his mistakes and let them be known?

If instead he puts who he wants to be first,
And what others think he should be last. 

If instead he values knowledge over brawn,
Happiness over expectation, the challenge is on.

Is he still a Kougra? Or is he something stronger entirely?
